McDonald's Downpatrick in Down

Go when im busy at work and need a snack quickly.

Today I was there and NO toilet available!!wtf:))

Strategic location,plenty of parking,nice polite staff

Last time I had a Cheeseburger from this McDonald’s I ended with Food Poisoning and I vomit badly and everything so I don’t know if I’m going back to this McDonalds again for a while.

Have been coming to McDonald’s for 20 years and having to be charged 99p for an extra teabag is ridiculous.

Was tired after cleaning in Downpatrick area, popped in for a good meal, left bag with valuables in it. Staff spotted it and kept it safe until we went back for it. Thank you

No toffee in my toffee latte tasted like warm milk

The guy who I think is the manager was really nice and friendly towards my very sociable little 3 year old niece. It was nice to see a McDonald's worker who didn't look like he wanted to be anywhere but there.

Very busy for sitting in, but every time we go here for some reason they miss something from our order or put the wrong food in. That's 3 out of the last 3 times

All good as expected from McD. Clean, tidy and food was delivered to the table within less than 10mins. Clean toilets, clean tables and all around the general area was tidy. If you want something on the fly without spending a fortune then you won't be disappointed. Highly recommending the Spicy Chicken wraps...£2.50 each but very, very good!!

This is a very fun place for children. Amazing!!

Like any other McDonald's, got a car park, next door to a big Asda & retail park with Argos, Halfords, etc. This McD is Open long hours from 6am - 12 midnight every day of the week & until 2am on Fridays & Saturdays

It's a McDonald's. What more can I say? A bijou and rustic little spot, hiding away in a picturesque corner of the Asda car park. The welcome from the jolly mustachio'd owner is always warm and genial, and the sommelier offers a fine selection of vintages sourced from vineyards of surrounding hillsides and valleys. The drive-through is also a nice touch, and for dine-in customers the plastic seating an ironic nod to the post-rococo brutalism of the imposing Downpatrick architecture.

Typical McDonald's, but with an extra game where you have to count the rats around the bins while you're in the drive through. My best score is 8.

Usually the service is very good at this store but not today as the big Macs we ordered where made by toddler. The top section on mine was made with no burger in it and 2 in the bottom half. We left sitting for 10 mins at the food collection window then told to move to a parking bay where we waited for approximate 10 more mins. I would usually always recommend this restaurant but not after today. Chicken nuggets where cold as well.

Chips cold asked for big mac with tomato uncooked onion and cheese and got tomato and onion no cheese poor quality

Good and Tasty Mac Muffin for brekkie . Very clean and friendly staff Coffee has the good kick to it as well to get the senses going

Not the best to be honest,sat in ordered threw the app,wasn't the best sent three things back as was Luke warm,and they'd only just been brought over to the table,the staff were very apologetic and replaced the items quickly,and without fuss,so 10/10 for the front of house staff,but kitchen 4 at best,went today was much better

It was a McDonald’s. Almost identical to every other McDonald’s you’ve ever been to. We got what we expected to get.

The staff are very friendly and supportive the food is very good quality and very efficient when you order 👌

i overheard staff members at the first window making fun and mimicking my accent was not happy won’t be back

Some staff who served us have terrible manners making a loud comment saying we have 3 more trays to come and sniggering making us feel greedy even thou we were a family of 7 at two separate tablets I think considering what we have spent that they wouldn't have made us feel like this I would like them to try and put all 7 meals on one tray!!!

Breakfasts taste good. Pity about the 11am rule and the unreliable milkshake machine but when it comes to family friendly fast food in this country MickyDees is hard to beat. Unfortunate price hikes that I haven't seen at competitors. Hope the staff are getting a raise.

Got out of here many times mostly good except past few times food was missing from orders and cold. Fries not packed in to bag properly and fell out when opened. Not happy with the food fter this.

Can be very hit and miss. Whatever you do check your whole order before you drive away as the amount of times I’ve had to run back in with wrong orders or missing items needed is a few too many. However staff are friendly and helpful.

Tidy not much mess just straws on floor. Tasty warm food. Busy but quiet people a worker slipped and fell.the young gentlemen quickly helped her to her feet.

Typical McD's but with plenty of staff and very helpful and friendly ones at that. Highly recommended and next to an ASDA for the shopping !

Seems to be slowly getting better from how i previously remember it, less often do i see wrong orders first try. Always happy to help get it rectified anyway.

They sometimes forget to add the sauces so make sure you check your bag before you leave. And the McFlurry machine is 50/50 whether it's working out not.

Didn't have any fries available!! 🙈

Its McDonalds. You know what you're getting and if its nice fast food you want, that's what you get.

Food cold, told to park up from drive thru, waited around 10 minutes

Won’t be back! If you decide to go except whatever you choose to be out of stock! When you finally get to place an order expect it to be wrong! No matter now simple! Even managed to get 2 kids meals wrong!

Worst McDonalds the customer service was awful from Stephen , I expect better when I receive a nail in my burger

Stopped off for the Coco fudge latte and fillet o fish meal, seriously disappointed, fries were hard, fillet was pretty bad and the Coco fudge was a joke. Won't return, shame as McDonald's in antrim town is always good.

Great location but food for some reason is not the normal MC D's Standard, just can't seem to out the finger on why, chips are never the same ?.

Favourite Food place in Downpatrick. You can not beat a McDonalds Burger and a Milkshake.

Sometimes can be slow on orders but food is really good. Milkshakes are the best.

You never have the mcflurry machine working here, sort it out. Are you mcdonalds or a scrap merchants Still not working !!!!! Everytime I come here get it sorted !!!

The McDonald's in Downpatrick was really good the staff were nice and pleasant and I enjoyed the food I got a chicken nugget 20 meal with chips and a drink of orange Fanta I think you will enjoy it if you went to Downpatrick McDonald's it wasn't too busy when we went they were still abiding by the covid-19 restrictions which is good to see

Manger absolutely joke false advertising about space jam toys and they give minions toys instead when ask they sai not there problems

I also had the same problem it says from the 12th of July space jam toys are available when I asked the staff they just say they don't know bad advertising....from McDonald's a rip off

This is now one of the worst McDonalds to exist. As i was working in Downpatrick i decided to go for lunch here, worst mistake ever food was terrible cold and dry like it had been out all day, the staff were very nasty especially through the drive through, got to order they had no mcflurrys (I'm convinced now they don't have a mcflurry machine) some how told they have run out of the new burger? its McDonalds your a burger joint. finally ordered paid and left only to find the wrong order after i parked up... all i want to know is there any sort of supervisor or manager here? or is everyone just trying to wing it? because that was a complete disaster.

Bog standard run of the mill MC Donald's. Does exactly what it says on the box.

Wasn't good, l wouldn't even give them 1 star, but had to, to put up this post , had nothing for vegans, all they offered was chips, really cross, they want support through all this, but to just offer chips, my Grandchildren were soooo disappointed, when they were really looking forward for something to eat, after being out all day, not good for really hungry people, so wouldn't even give them 1 star, pathetic

Great pit stop for a quick coffee during the pandemic

Strange for the first time back in almost 5 months, we choose to sit in and it was nice and quiet, social distance on the seating so be prepared to wait.

Went with friend to drive through, very well organised, so not big queues, straight over to payment and pick up. All staff in masks, well done.

Just got my food at McDonalds Downpatrick came home to discover i didnt get my whole order and it was paid for too,yes there was a queue yes i know your busy ,i rang but of course no one available to take the call ,i am not queuing up again the rest of my food would be freezing cold ,so in future ill be holding back at the collection window and checking i have my whole order ,ill gave you the time 14.52 on 08/06/2020 im disgusted .

Every time I've gotten food from this McDonald's it's been wrong and taken ages. The staff don't seem to have a clue what's going on

I found it very small now and very hard to get a seat at busy times. They could of built another level on it and have seating upstairs. A lot of angry customers as they had ordered but could get a seat to sit down . The food was 100% the only thing was them straws a&e disgusting. Had to throw my drink out as could not drink it. Staff are very nice and helpfully.

Service poor, was waiting 10mins for our order to be taken, the server came out ignored my wife and I serving the people behind . Brought it to her attention, she just shrugged her shoulders and no apologies. 👎👎
