Good varied menu , top spot on North Coast
Breakfast /brunch is fab
Nice selection. My family enjoys it every time we visit. We usually have breakfast. It’s busy so go early!
Completing a scouting mission for the second regiment of Sol outside of the area we needed some refueling, for the ship and ourselves.
After ordering we unwillingly sat at a table that hadn’t been cleaned from its previous occupants, figured they would get to it swiftly. Our food arrived and the table still had not been cleared or cleaned. Offering to clean the table, 50% of it was wiped without much care for apology.
Food was average, filling and generous. Staff were friendly but behind the well mannered wishes it was apparent they were understaffed for the demand.
Thought about ordering a coffee but with the incessant screaming of the milk being burnt at the frother I thought I could begin hear the cows ancestors in the afterlife, begging for mercy.
Archaic propaganda written on the walls about cash only, soon the economy will transfer to universal credits. Might be a shock.
Called here on our way through Antrim had read other reviews and the menu online looked really good. The Brioche French toast was nice although it was different temperatures throughout and cold in some places. The coffee was good but what really let the whole experience down was the eggs benedict.
Eggs benedict is a classic breakfast or brunch dish that has been enjoyed for decades and when done right is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately this was not the case here they have tried to add a twist to a dish that does not need any enhancements and in turn have ruined it. The crispy kale was inedible it was soaked in salt and was awful, the substitute for bacon was two slices of fatty hard overcooked slices of belly pork that had been reheated. I do not want belly pork for breakfast there was more fat than meat and it smelt awful. The hollandaise sauce was not too bad but then it had a black syrup drizzled on the plate which was bitter and did not complement the dish. The poached eggs were exceptional and were the best bit of the dish the rest I had to leave. Please just serve a classic eggs benedict its a winner every time I understand that you have tried to enhance the dish but this is an epic fail!
The desserts I took home were nice and the carrot cake was one of the best I have had. My son ordered a toastie and we were confused as he asked for ham and cheese but was told they only did ham and cheese from 11am onwards but he could have a cheese toastie? Surely you can put a slice of ham in a toastie at the same time as putting cheese in it I assume you have ham on the premises so I don't fully understand the reasoning behind this. The café is a little grubby in places and could do with a little attention to detail. All in all it was a disappointing visit. Price wise its not extortionate but not good value at the same time portion sizes are good and its in a handy location for parking.
Bright and clean cafe, staff lovely...
But ....so disappointed with dressed porridge, basically served porridge with a banana....
Ground Portrush have stewed fruit with granola, and it is amazing !!!
Impulse stop for lunch, based on a friend's recommendation. Very friendly, cheerful staff... small but varied choice of lunch dishes; both we had were v.good. Prices seemed to reflect the quality of service, food and settings. I'm sure we'll be back! (I've seen advert saying the business is up for sale (Jun 2022)... is that still the case?
Awesome spot with great staff and a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. It was a wonderful bar to hangout at for a couple pints.
There was live music going on which was a real nice touch. The singer was amazing, hats off to him.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice chat with locals and try some local whiskey.

Stopped for a coffee. Won’t be stopping again, absolutely disgusting. Just a pointer for you, decent coffee is not made by pushing buttons on a machine
Amazing bar and restaurant.
The owner Louise and her staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were a group of 30 and the hospitality was amazing. Lovely food. Great atmosphere. A really great evening. Thank you Louse!

Unfortunately wasn’t open at 7.15pm on Tuesday 4th June 2024 when we were passing through in our motorhome although Facebook page and sign on the door said it should have been😱 disappointed not to have tried your fish and chips. 😢
Service really let us down today. No eggs for my partner's fry and by the time they arrived my meal was getting cold!
Food itself was as good as always fortunately.
