Driving along the Causeway coast we stopped in Glenarm to browse Steensons and have a little walk around the harbour. It is a very quiet, though very pretty, town, and there were few options, so when we saw the Tea Emporium we jumped at the chance to go in and get some lunch. The setting was idyllic, great decor, menu, dietary options etc - service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a pot of tea, sausage roll and a ham and cheese toastie - all were great - though sadly meant we had no room left for the delicious sounding cakes afterwards...maybe next time!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Quaint and charming cafe in a very sleepy village. We had a cream tea. The homemade scones were fine but the jam was a real let down. It was industrial jam from a mini pot with no taste.

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place in Glenarm and weren't sure what to expect but decided to give it a go. From the moment we stepped through the door I loved it! The decor is so homely and quaint, giving off a 1940s vibe with music to match, and we were welcomed and seated very quickly. This is a small place, only about 7 tables, and the menu is small but everything is fresh and looks delicious. They do sandwiches, soup, scones, cake and tray bakes. We both had scones and they were large and homemade. Delicious. We'll definitely be back someday.

An absolutely gorgeous and cosy café - lovely sandwiches at lunch time, and delicious cakes for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Stopped here for lunch whilst staying in Glenarm for the weekend. Wow... What a little gem of a coffee shop! Really fresh sandwiches and scones and according to my 6 tlyear old - the best Victoria sponge in the world 🌍 They cater extremely well for chiilden. Gorgeous drop hopper coffee served here. Staff amazing - so friendly and interactive with the kids. Will be returning tomorrow before we head home. Oh and they sold beautiful little art gifts, prints and cards.

We called here by chance after a walk in Glenarm Woods only to discover a lovely, quaint, tea room. We had a lovely lunch and the service and friendliness was first class. The atmosphere is great and the decor really takes you back a year or two. Well worth a visit.

Have been popping in here for takeaway coffees & sweet treats for a few weeks now. Today I went for the white chocolate and raspberry scone - Can honestly say best white chocolate and raspberry scone I’ve ever had! Seriously delicious! Staff are lovely too. Looking forward to lockdown being over so I can sit in!

Myself and my girlfriend went away for a few days and did some of the causeway costal route. We spent a day in Glenarm doing the castle and the forest. We came across this little place hidden away in Glenarm. As soon as you walk through the door its like being taken back in time. Singer sewing machines, old record players etc. A real vintage feel to the place. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We had already eaten lunch but we had to try something. We had tea and what I can only describe as one of the nicest home made Victoria sponge cakes I have ever had. When I am up this way again I will definitely be paying this place a visit for lunch. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We came across this place almost by accident and liked the welcome, the ambience and the chocolate scone! A tough six months for them to open just before lockdown.

This year could be the worst ever to open a new catering venture, but this is one that, despite the challenges, is already proving successful. On a corner of the main street of the charming village of Glenarm, the premises were a pub once and the old bar is now a servery for the short but delicious menu. Hot dishes include the owner's Granny Pauline's sausage pie, quiche, steak & ale pie and a pasta dish, plus cakes and scones. The dining area is atmospherically furnished with antiques. My wife and I received a warm welcome on our first visit, and enjoyed the food and ambience so much we have already been back. We intend to do so regularly.

We chose Aroma Coffee House because it opens early. But we plan to go back because we loved it from the moment we walked in and we're given a very friendly and warm welcome. The coffee was on a par with excellent coffee we've had in Italy and scones were delicious.

Have been going to the Rinkha near enough every two weeks for over a year, yes, even in the winter months. Never have I encountered such rudeness before this evening, and no, it wasn't the young members of staff, they are always very polite when serving. When I questioned about the rise in cost of the same usual cone that I buy, the staff member became very defensive, so think I nearly pushed her over the edge when I asked for two different sauces (which my daughter has been having on her ice cream EVERY time we're in) to be told they're only allowed to serve one per ice cream!??? Beggars belief! Granted, she had just overcharged the customer in front of me so maybe she was a little rattled. Prior to this, anything I asked for at the confectionery till, no, didn't have it. Think my daughter's ice cream habit is on borrowed time!
