Sunday evening beer garden that accepts dogs? Fantastic. Plus a decent selection of beers on tap, and the pizzas are unreal.

Not very pleased the food was ordered around 6pm and it’s over an hour late, and still hasn’t arrived.

Was in eith the wife and kids. Kids got the child's pizza's, which were lovely. Eldest got the calzone which was also great. The starter was a bit meh, breaded mushrooms, the salad had no dressing. But god damn, the daube of beef was delicious. I didn't expect it to be that nice in a bar setting. Food took a while to come with not many in the place. But give the chef a pat on the back, pleasantly surprised. Staff were quite nice too. Will be back!

Portion sizes are brilliant, food was gorgeous and the pina colada cheesecake is amazing! Would recommend to anyone

This praise is long overdue. We have dined for lunches and evening meals in Ruby's many times and it has always been a delight for my family. Great menu, great service and great food. Special mentions to Liam and Danielle for their friendly and professional service, and to Robert's kitchen for delivering such high quality and short waiting times on every occasion. Highly recommended

Had a lovely meal here for Valentines. Great value on their menu with 2 courses & a drink for just £16.50 each Liam & Paul looked after us well .. just a lovely chilled evening out with delicious food & great service Thanks guys :)

Sadly, I have noticed for the last few occasions we have ordered food that has not been up to standard. Today the roast chicken dinner - veg very hard, chicken had a very bitter taste and was unpleasant and mashed potatoes lumpy. Pavlova though it was nice it was very small in fact literally two mouthfuls!! Extremely disappointed.

Chips are well and truly over cooked very dark golden colour and hard. Had to leave some of the chips and eat what I could. Pizza over cooked too and lacked flavour. I’ve eaten in Rubys before where the food was amazing but unfortunately on this delivery occasion food was a disgrace and total disaster. I’ve no idea what went wrong! I’m very disappointed with food quality as this isn’t their usual low cooking standard. I won’t be getting deliveries again as this is an unsatisfactory experience.

Sunday lunch today - We had starters of pate and prawn cocktail - both beautiful! Main courses the 12 hour roasted Beef for me and Turkey and Ham for my husband. Both mains served with roasted potatoes, mash potatoes, carrot, Parsnip, Broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy with stuffing and chipolatas served with the Turkey and Ham. Really generous portions and food was faultless! Dessert was hot chocolate fudge cake with icecream and Ferraro Roche cheesecake which were both beautiful. To top it off service was great and staff really friendly. Cant wait to go back !

Nice place to go for lunch and entertainment great place

Putting plain chicken strips and plain fries in a box with some sliced chilli doesn't make it salt and chilli. When you eat in it isn't made like that so why is delivery made like that? The sticky chicken was nice though so 3 stars is fair

Food ordered for delivery one week and food arrived cold and without drinks. Got a 20% discount code and thought why not give them a second chance but go and collect it. Arrived for food and was good there was a problem with their ordering machine?? Told it was not the first time this has happened. Complaint email sent and completely brushed over the first home delivery and saying to order by phone. Why offer an online order service? Don't offer a service you are not able to deliver.

Amazing service and very accommating with a coeliac diet.

Had a serious good feed from here tonight, was down at the carnfunnock and had it delivered down to the pier. Arrived exceptionally fast and was absolutely delicious. Recommend and will be back to try a sit in next time. Get it ordered if you’re looking 👍👍

Have to say really disappointed on our meals. Been several times before and was delicious. However what a let down Sundays 4 meals were. The famous sweetchilli chicken was far tooo crispy and hard.!!! No salad and my goodness pitta bread was size of a 10 pence!!!!! Garlic fries were to oily and seems like they were reheated. Sunday roast was fatty. Burgers average. Really disappointed. Sorry guys we won't be back.

Unfortunately I think we were seated next to a Hen Party so very noisy during our meal

Never had a complaint before, always give positive reviews to ruby’s, had to call and for them to tell me the bag was “hiding in the kitchen” and laughed at me! I am not very happy. Driver was lovely, but won’t be rushing back to ruby’s.

Unreal Sunday dinners and chicken stack delivery came very fast all piping hot really well presented the chefs are doing a great job really tasty food! drinks also came with food good value for 3 people

Great bar that's gone from strength to strength. I've been away 5 years and so much has changed. Ruby's is pretty much the only bar with a good sized beer garden and while it's fairly upmarket in design there's still a pool table and plenty of space. We didn't eat as we had dinner before we went but the food I saw looked awesome and the staff were friendly and willing to make us cocktails that weren't on the menu. The prices were very reasonable and if I was back home longer, I'd definitely be back more often. Definitely changed heaps but seemingly for the better!

We were welcomed by a member of staff straight away then taken over to the table to be seated asked us if we'd like drinks, given the menu & plenty of time to make our choices, the meal was served quickly, the food was delicious but I couldn't finish mine so was offered a doggy bag, the staff were very good we had some more drinks, paid the bill which was well worth the money, Fantastic I will definitely be back & my Sister liked it so much she has decided to have her granddaughter's wedding reception there. Visited last night with a friend, food and drinks were great and the staff were fantastic! In particular Liam and Peter (hopefully remembered right) were just fab, will be back again soon.

Arrived after an hour one pizza short. One pizza was also charred black around the edges. When they finally delivered missing pizza it was so dry the so called brisket was like beef jerky. Very poor.

I've never been here before, although the reason was a celebration of life ! It was a really nice place

Went in for a pint of Guinness, waited an abnormal amount of time considering the place was empty, got my pint, which was higher than average price for the area and took a sip of it, a stale, horrendous pint of Guinness that took me almost an hour to finish due to the taste, would suggest that they either change the kegs their getting or clean out the lines to the kegs. Had a tennents in here as well and it tasted like moss. Would not recommend the trip if you’re looking for a pint

The food was great till I noticed they didn't give us the bottles of juices. Had to jump in the car and drive all the away back and the bar staff was too busy talking between themselves rather dealing with customers. So time Igor home, I had to reheat the food

Pizza had way too much goats cheese and none of the chutney to balance it out. So disappointing as the foot is usually so good

We ordered the pizza meal deal. The sticky chicken arrived burnt, the chips were soggy and overcooked. The cheese on the vegetarian pizza was not melted. Overall a very poor meal and would not order again!

I ordered 3 chicken dishes Friday evening and all 3 dishes were burnt, and inedible, even my dog had difficulty eating some chicken it was that badly burnt. It really is a pity that Ruby's sent food out like this as I would've classed them as one if not the best in Larne. Waste of £40 hard earned pounds. Will not be ordering again.

Sunday roast dinner was awful would not get again

Visiting family for the weekend and went to Ruby's for a evenings meal, food and service was spot on highly recommend.

Went for family meal. Food was all fine and tasty but was told no pizza chef in which was what the kids wanted to eat.

Nice pub food. I had spaghetti bolognese which was really salty and couldn't finish it, but my husband had a roast dinner which was better. I'd still go back but order something different next time. Nice relaxed atmosphere, football on TV, kids about, we didn't feel rushed like in some restaurants.

Home-fired freshly made pizzas are the business! Great for sharing when watching the footy! Can put up a great buffet selection for group bookings too!

Steak was absolutely divine, I only eat steak and have had it in many places but to get that juicy steak with the flavour of a barbecue one is rare, we have paid £32 last week per person for a fillet and would not compare the taste, maybe a bit more cheese flavour in the sauce dry of cooking fat ,just being picky as steak was so good also 2nd visit, will be back.

Over an hour delivery for food which came stone cold and rock solid pizzas. Garlic bread wasn’t delivered and when the restaurant was called they said they would send one up. 45 minutes later and nothing(not that I wanted it after having the food they actually delivered) lovely place to sit in but have not once had a good experience with delivery

Excellent menu and food was very good and reasonably priced.table service was great however we were told there would be a longer wait than usual which was actually 1hour and 10mins from when we arrived.

The portions are massive! And the food is glorious these days. Congrats to the chef.

First time here. Staff are very friendly and made us feel so welcome. Chicken wings for starter, a bit too sour for barbeque sauce. Had the steak specials today, cooked to our desire. The chicken supreme is nice but a bit disappointed with the Dill and white wine sauce, not much taste. Ideal prices and good portion. Definitely will come back again ☺️

Myself and my husband took our kids to see Larne's (world breaking) biggest bonfire and was feeling hungry. I googled somewhere nice to eat and Ruby's came up first. Lovely spot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming indeed. Had to wait abit on food but was worth it. Try not to sit in front of the pizza fire pit because it is boiling lol!! We actually wanted to move but we stuck it out. 10 out of 10 regardless. Kids loved their food as did mum and dad 👌 not bad for the 4 of us either.

I ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce but never received the sauce. I had also ordered the kids pizza but my children couldn't eat it as the pepperoni was so spicy. I even tried it & would not have eaten it but to the spice. I was disappointed with this order

Restaurant-quality steak dinner delivered to my home for the price of a takeaway? What's not to like? Always excellent service, a model of consistency.

Ordered gravy with steak, got delivered pepper sauce instead so dry steak it was and the chips were overcooked and hard with a lot of bad end bits from the bottom of the frier obviously, never again!

Very disappointed that you have to have a test/shot/passport to go and eat in the pub. As this place was recommended to us so instead we gone to The shove which has amazing food and service.

Whole family greatly enjoyed their Meals from here. I myself was especially pleased with my Steak, which was cooked -EXACTLY- the way I requested it, nice sized portion of sides too. Will be getting from here again and can highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the Larne area and want some good food and excellent service. Thanks!

Horrendous customer service ordered food for delivery waited over 2 hours, rang them to ask them where my food was and the girl who was on the phone hung up on me because i wanted to know where it was, spoke to 3/4 different people and they said they would sort this out and get my food to me, and the food didnt arrive, shambles!!!! avoid at all costs!

Pizza was ok, flavour was good, but they were cold. Sides were too cold to eat, and part of the order didn’t arrive. Disappointed.

Portion much smaller than normal despite price increase. Coke warm and couldn’t be drank with meal (cold drink put in beside hot food!). Chips cold and soggy. Really disappointing.
