Great spot for relaxing after walk or just chilling with friends. Called in with my young grandson after he fed the ducks on an early Saturday morning. Got lovely fresh scones (which he took no time to devour!) and lovely coffee. Beautiful setting no shortage of tables friendly staff and great food. I've been here few times before with friends and didn't disappoint.

Family members met for breakfast here at a new venue for us. Easy parking & ample seating, especially outside. Ordered our food & drink at the counter, where the queue moved along quite quickly. One member chose the fried breakfast which he was pleased with. The rest of us had a selection of croissants & scones all of which were enjoyed, as were our teas & coffees. The serving staff were efficient at their tasks, but could do with a course in hospitality with the public as each one we encountered was sullen & unsmiling. Some folk, mainly children seemed to enjoy a good range of books in a bookcase, which was a nice touch. After this, a relaxing stroll around the park rounded off an almost perfect morning. Will certainly return.

This cafe has a lovely location and an interesting menu but the food is average at best and the staff we met cold and unwelcoming. It has a lot of potential but you don't forget how people make you feel and who appeared to be the manager would not encourage me to return

Welcoming a new member of our team in work we called at the Secret Garden cafe situated in the Ecos Centre in Ballymena yesterday. Some amazing freshly baked goodies were on offer. Lovely clean establishment and my Barry's Gold tea was amazing, they even had soya milk. Will be calling again and going for a lovely scenic walk to burn off the calories. Fab company, food and of course tea what more could you ask for especially when the boss was paying!!

Lovely place, friend took me for lunch here about a month ago. I had not been aware of place before that. Visited again one Sunday Morning with my Hubby, both had the breakfast bagel and coffees. Service and food was lovely. Will def visit again.

I would go for breakfast now and again. i almost always get the same thing; sausage, bacon and egg on toast. The staff are very helpful and friendly, catering to my request to have crispy bacon. Set me up rightly for the day. Additionally, they have a good selection of tasty treats in the form of tray bakes, pies and cake. Looking forward to it being open in the summer months and being able to site outside.

At Robinsons Costcutter you can always be sure of delicious dishes especially their Pies which are quite expensive for the size but they are well filled unlike Barrs Pies which are very tasty but the meat content is so scant it's like it was smeared on with a knife, these are well filled with high quality beef or chicken.

So excited to finally go here with my daughter but the experience wasn't what I expected. For the prices there is no table service you have to order at the till. I was not advised correctly when asking about the Spanish hot chocolate. It isn't a drink it comes in a bowl for dipping biscuits in. I specifically asked was it like a normal hot chocolate you could drink and was told yes. I ordered coffee and 2 savoury pancakes. Paying by card I was asked to select what tip I wanted to leave. Feeling like I had no option I left one. Then we waited on our food. I had to go and order tea after the "drinks" arrived as the Spanish hot chocolate is not a drink and leave another tip. We waited again and after 35 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. To be told that the food order hadn't been sent to the kitchen. We didn't have time to wait any longer. When the refund was being done they didn't ask what of your tip you would like refunded. I don't mind paying for service but we didn't get any. Can't review the food as we didn't get any of that. Won't be back. Sometimes best to stick to the places you know.

Impulse stop for lunch, based on a friend's recommendation. Very friendly, cheerful staff... small but varied choice of lunch dishes; both we had were v.good. Prices seemed to reflect the quality of service, food and settings. I'm sure we'll be back! (I've seen advert saying the business is up for sale (Jun 2022)... is that still the case?

We've visited Rose Cafe many times and haev never been disappointed. They do a tasty fry, really lovely coffee and tea, and an amazing selection of homespun Sunday dinners! Highly recommended. Every time we go, we're stunned at the great value for money. The icing on the cake is the friendly owner, who shows she's glad of the business and always make us glad we dropped in.
