Went here today with my friend. Waited 15 minutes to get our order taken. Another 25 minutes for my friends tea and scone to be brought to him followed by another 10 minutes for my 5 piece fry breakfast to be brought out to me. I can say if I knew I'd be waiting a total of 35 minutes for the size of my fry I'd not have bothered. Now I can say the food was tasty very tasty but the portion size was small. After waiting that amount of time it would have been nice to have my poached egg cooked properly. The woman who brought me my fry didn't speak to me or even make eye contact with me which I found very rude. Overall the service was very slow, some staff members don't come across as very friendly. There didn't seem to be much attentiveness to customers and a bit to laid back. I probably won't be back here again.

We popped in for a bite of lunch on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and ended up having a full 3 courses for £14 each. The food is tasty and plentiful with a good home cooked feel. Would definitely recommend.

The staff are friendly and helpful and even though we only stopped in for coffee and cake - it was very tasty and served quickly. The menu looked to be a nice selection of wraps and fill meals.

My partner was working in the area so I decided to get a cup of tea while I waited. I decided to have the vegetable soup on arrival as well. It was the best choice I made all day! The vegetable soup was amazing!! And the service was brilliant. Such a lovely little coffee shop it really made my day. Thank you, would really recommend!!

On a drive around the Speerins we wanted a spot of lunch and tried the Coffee Shop. The man serving us was really friendly and a great joker! As well as the food on the menu there were a number of specials available. The food was plentiful and very tasty. I had one of the specials chicken breast with peppered sauce served with mashed potatoes, carrots, parsnips and cabbage. My friends opted for the Ulster Fry with added tomatoes. They also enjoyed their food. We had tea and the pot was topped up with no problems. All in all a great place to visit serving decent home cooked food!

Was visiting family in Maghera so decided to pop into this coffee shop. It was early morning so we all agreed a fry-up was the only way to go. Ordered a fry up each and after selecting how we liked our eggs in the morning, choice of tea/coffee and if we wanted toast, the very friendly waitress (who we later found out was part-owner) proceeded to make us pots of tea and let the children select their own drinks. After a short wait she brought back plates of delicious looking food and she went on with her business serving other customers. Though it was a busy morning each time she passed our table she politely asked if we needed anything else or had a smile for our younger guests. Later the chef (who we later found our was the other owner) came out and was chatting to other customers. By both their way of talking to them we guessed they were regular customers. Nothing was too much for either member of staff and it felt like you were dining in your own front room. Definitely worth a visit next time u are in Maghera. Can't recommend The Coffee Shop enough:)

We recently called to The Coffee Shop in Maghera for a spot of lunch. We'v been here many times but Iv never taken the time to review it. It is always excellent, and this time didn't disappoint either. It was a wet Wednesday, and they had a special pensioners lunch menu, which was excellent value for money. There was a very relaxed atmosphere, with a man and a woman, who I later discovered were the owners, walking around and speaking to every table, some tables were getting some friendly banter, with customers who were clearly regulars, and who clearly loved the attention. This place is a wee gem and I would definetly recommend it to anyone, we never eat anywhere else when we're in Maghera. Well done guys, keep up the excellent work!!!!

Attended a family celebration on a Saturday evening and I couldn't compliment the service enough. Lovely atmosphere, great food, a perfect venue for a birthday party. The staff were really attentive and looked after us very well. Sharon was particularly accommodating and welcoming. Great night had by all.

Not happy got a takeout for the kids the chips were cooked in dirty oil. The colour and taste was completely unacceptable for £6. I wish i had checked inside the containers before I left the building.
