This cafe does hot and cold drinks, ice creams and salads, sandwiches. It's just beside a pleasant children's playpark, so you can sit at the picnic tables while the children play. We stopped for lunch after walking over from the Cushendall Caravan Park. We had a chicken salad and a ham salad. The variety of salad constituents was excellent and lovely and fesh. The prices were good too. It is out-of-the-way, in the dunes, so look out for the small blue and yellow signs from the car parks.

Usually call in for a Latte when passing. Friendly staff. Lovely wee hidden beach there. Not the easiest to find, need bigger sign folks!

If anyone plans to travel the East Antrim Coast Road from the town of Larne all the way up to Ballycastle and the North Coast then I truely recommend stopping at Waterfoot and having a spot of lunch at the Glenariff Beach Cafe followed by a lovely stroll along the beach and the grassland meadows there. And if you can time it with any of the Heart of the Glens Landscape Partnership Schemes activities or Ulster Wildlife then all the better. I was there in June this year on a Wildflower Ramble and the amount of wildflowers on the site is astonishing. There are also some quite rare species like Wood Cranesbill and Harebell on the site for all the botanists (amateur or pro) and if you are not into your flowers then the walk along the sandy beach will be your oasis for the day. Lunch in the Cafe is your standard sort of grub you would get in most places but it is the scenery around the cafe and the lovely pictures and information boards of the Glens of Antrim inside the cafe that really set this place apart from the other cafes/restaurants. All in all it is worth a visit (especially from May-August for the wildflowers) while you make your way up or down the east Antrim coast.

We stumbled across (no signage from the road) this excellent little cafe. The coffee, ice cream and service were great and the fry looked amazing! It seemed to be a regular pit stop for one of the local cycling clubs, as well as being popular with walkers and families. As someone else has mentioned, as well as the beautiful beach, there is a great children's play area immediately outside the cafe..

I recently visited the beach cafe with my husband and 2 children. There is great space outside for the children to play. The children loved the ice cream and my husband and I had a lovely fresh scone with tea and coffee, both were excellent. A great addition to this beautiful area.

I visited this new social enterprise recently and was warmly welcomed by Mary and the Glenariff Improvement Group who progressed this lovely café. Set in beautiful surroundings on the beach at Waterfoot it really is worth a visit. I enjoyed morning tea with scones served in lovely china cups and service with a welcoming smile. By visiting the café you are supporting a local social enterprise so another good reason to visit!

Busy on a Bank Holiday, but the wait was worthwhile. There’s an attractive casual seating area at the back, and our breakfasts were excellent. Bothy soda for me, excellent combo of bacon, cheese, egg;

We were down in lovely Ballycastle for one of our regular visits and we popped in here for some ice creams. The staff were not at all friendly or helpful - unlike the Morrelli’s branch in Portstewart

Had the best Cappucino Coffee I have ever tasted, lovely and thick and creamy without being all foamy. Recommended, but a very busy place and you may have to queue for a while and wait for your order.
