The best restaurants in Portstewart Coleraine North Eastern NI

Had a fab meal at this restaurant. Was fairly quiet so was bit concerned as other places all booked out but had no cause for concern once we got our food. Quite a meaty menu but found something for everyone. We had a table of ten and the service was brilliant. Staff all really friendly and obliging. Couldn’t do enough for us. Food was brilliant, I had steak, so tasty and cooked to perfection, hubby had the stack and loved it, best main meal out for a long time and that’s saying something when we live in south belfast. Great value and service, tasty cocktails will def book here again. Only thing, maybe expand the dessert menu pls.

My wife and I came here on Wednesday for a bite to eat and we got to say this place is stunning. We were seated at our table straight away which was amazing The waitresses were very friendly and the meals were unreal. Highly recommended! We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely little cafe with plenty of choice

Joined a long queue outside premises for hot food and only discovered when we got to the top of it that they were serving ice cream only after 6. Other families turned away also. Be a much better idea to have a sign outside to explain.

We all felt the food was nice. Nice drinks menu. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff all friendly and helpful. Downside is there is not always handy parking

Ordered a breakfast, and after 40 mins she took my order again and got me 4 pieces toast. 20 mins later I left because nothing more was coming, and they were not busy.

Had booked dinner for mums 50th birthday for a party of 12 was told by BRENDA the receptionist they provide the balloons and banners and apparently it was something they do with no extra cost she asked me any particular colours in mind and that she would get them ordered for me I thought happy days one less thing to worry about was also promised a table of 12 of us to be in corner of the restaurant have our banner and balloons up and not in the middle of the room when arriving on the night of mums birthday dinner I was met and greeted by Chris at the desk who informed me when I asked where the balloons and banners where for my mum that I was supposed to bring my own I told him this wasn't the case and told him what BRENDA the receptionist had told me that day. I was furious as if I had of know this was the case I would have provided my own balloons and banner also prior to that day I had brought in mums cake and cupcakes and asked the wee long dark haired girl did we need to arrive earlier to put up the banners and balloons that they provided for us and she went and asked the chef and came back with no they would have banners and balloons set up for us we just have to be there for 7.30pm the time the table was booked. I must say credit to Chris and all of his restaurant and bar staff they were fantastic and very attentive also received a good will gesture for the stress and upset that it had caused. So I thank Chris and his team that night from the bottom of my heart who made my mums night very special. As for BRENDA I do hope she reads this and learns from it I understand people make mistakes but when getting told they don't do that service why would she say that to me otherwise and cause unnecessary stress if I had of known this information I would of got mum a balloon and banner myself for all the price it would cost extra! BRENDA needs retraining and informed that this service doesn't exist i wouldn't want this to happen to anybody else not very professional at all! Do not rate her at all however from the service I received on the night of the dinner I would recommend me and mrs jones just not her! Thanks again Chris and his restaurant and bar staff! Sarah

This is a no nonsense, straight forward little coffee shop on the prom in Portstewart. Clean and tidy and plenty of space. Kid friendly and a great atmosphere. We had two americanos which were excellent and a piece of Christmas cake which was lemony and delicious, also had a crumble mince pie- heated with fresh cream- just super. Sassy and fun staff behind the counter and happy to bring your stuff to the table. Did I miss anything!? What else do you want!? Simply great

The best pizza I've ever eaten and I'm a pizza snob ! Young friendly staff who keep the place spotless. The fact that you can BYO for a very reasonable corkage fee makes for a cheap and cheerful evening out. The atmosphere is good but I'm just surprised that the place is not bursting at the seams with customers as the pizza and service is much better than other popular pizza restaurants in the area. Love this place ❤️

Great service from the staff. The food was beautiful. However, £18 for a chicken breast in butter with a couple of green beens is way too much even if it was good. Hate the fact meals don’t come with sides for that price. Starters and desserts were better than the main.

Really good. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch here last week. Food was plentiful, very hot and well cooked. Prices are very reasonable. It's one of those places that has something for everyone in terms of food. I didn't have a coffee but the food was pretty good. Nothing amazing, just solid food that's down to earth at reasonable prices. Friendly staff who seem to work hard at keeping the cafe clean. Recommended!
