Love this place. My favourite local restaurant. Great food and Guiness. Best chocken wings, lasagne, pizza risotto. Food so good. Excellent staff too. Not to mention the view.

Love this place chicken wings the chill sauce is just the best out there so addictive and the fillet steak spicy tuffle pasta is the best most unusual taste ever! Definitely recommend though dishes topped off with the Tiramidu desert you will not be disappointed.

Amici is simply one of the best restaurants on the north coast and I always feel so fortunate to live close by. I treated my mum to a lovely lunch today and as always we had a fabulous meal . It is clear from when you arrive that Amici value every single customer and will go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely dining experience. I had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection and delicious with a rocket and parmesan salad. There is such a wide selection on the menu and so many meals I could try but I always seem to fall back on the sea bass because it is just amazing dish. I always remember going to a world famous seafood restaurant on the west coast of America and their sea bass was not as good as Amici's ! My mum tried the seafood linguini for the first time and loved the flavours, the perfect pasta and variety and amount of fish. Throughout the meal our servers were extremely attentive... something that sadly is not common in many restaurants nowadays. They are exceptionally polite and genuinely seem to care. It was a lovely birthday meal and Amici is a restaurant which always gets it right. We look forward to the next time. Thank you for making my mum's 88th birthday meal perfect !

I heard loads of good reviews about this restaurant and have finally been to it! It did not disappoint. The food was excellent. Starter choices were fairly limited but that was ok as most of us found something we liked. Excellent range of main courses and everyone was very pleased with their choices. We were too full for dessert so cannot comment. Wine was nice though 😄. Will definitely be back. Very attentive service.

Great service from the staff. The food was beautiful. However, £18 for a chicken breast in butter with a couple of green beens is way too much even if it was good. Hate the fact meals don’t come with sides for that price. Starters and desserts were better than the main.

After hearing so much about Amici was looking forward to first time. Great menu with lots of choice. The pasta dish I ordered was nice but no better than others I’ve had in other places. No offer of Parmesan or pepper, had to ask and server didn’t seem pleased to have to get it. I certainly wasn’t wowed by the food or place. Service was just okay.

Out for my youngest’s 21st. Apart from feeling very old the dinner at Amicii was every bit as good as expected. Wide choice from the menu and everything cooked beautifully. Not a single issue from starters to dessert. Staff and duty manager were attentive and friendly and got the balance just right Thanks for a lovely meal - will of course be back

Excellent, food was great so tasty, 3 of us had the best pasta ever, 2 had pizza delicious. We all had desserts, sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Every member of staff were very friendly, we ill definitely be back

Great Food! I loved this place! There is a free car park with great views right by the ocean. The welcome was warm and we were seated right away! We had one starter, 5 mains and two desserts and it was around £125 including a drink each. The vegetarian options are clearly labelled and I had the pasta , which was a big portion and very delicious. I would definitely go again.

Awesome place to have some food after visiting Giant's Causeway. If you're lucky, sitting by the windows and enjoying the view is an absolute pleasure!

Always a great atmosphere and I’ve never had a poor meal. I cannot work out how they can do it for such a reasonable price. Only problem is trying to get a table.

All good maybe a bit to crowded for my liking...

This was my third time visiting Amici. We went for my granddaughters 4th birthday. We had a range of different food. Pasta pizza and rib eye steak. I had the steak and it was one of the best I’ve had. They’re flame grilled and cooked to perfection. The hot brownie with ice cream was also perfect. They brought a sparkler in my granddaughters ice cream and everyone sang happy birthday to her. She loved in. It was a Wednesday night and there wasn’t a seat to be had. Says a lot for the restaurant. The service was also amazing. Our server was called Jess and she was just lovely.

Amici's is an unassuming restaurant that is worth a visit, just to experience the ambience & quality of the food It's fabulous

Great experience and wonderful dining on our holiday The staff with very friendly and accommodating of our two young children (under 3), the best service we’ve had in a while. The food was tasty and well presented, with a strong menu. Well done Amici 👏.

Have driven past Amici so many times during our visits. Tonight we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. It was really busy for a Tuesday night and we hadn't booked but the front of house staff managed to find us a table, providing they could have the table back in 90 minutes time, which suited us. We enjoyed the chicken skewers on a bed of Caesar salad, which was just delicious. Our waitress (Mitzi) was fabulous, really helpful and friendly. Overall, a great restaurant in a great location and we'll definitely be back on our next visit!

Menu. Food, service etc etc etc cannot be faulted. Don’t miss this place if you’re in the area. We dined here 2 out of three evening it was so good.

An absolute recommendation! I ate here 5 times during my vacation and was thrilled each time by the absolutely nice and professional service - without any affectation! The food was also always delicious, and at very fair prices - and then there was the great view from there!

Was there for the last two nights with a group of friends. Everything was good and we were well looked after by everyone. Food excellent. Will come back again.

Normally excellent food but this time it was shocking! And the staff were not bothered as they dont need to try anymore!..Tried to address with management who were nowhere to be seen. Have emailed twice and the silence is deafening. Every establishment can have an off day but to simply ignore customers in the hope they'll go away is poor. We are frequent patrons but we will not return on the basis that they did not respond and we can only assume they are purposely ignoring our poor experience. Unfortunately word of mouth travels.

Awesome..... This place is top notch. The staff are amazing, the views outside are amazing especially when the sun sets. The food is amazing. It not just an Italian restaurant, they have other options like steaks and always hit the right doneness.

Amici was recommended by a relative, and we needed to book in early September. It's in a spectacular spot overlooking the sea, though we were seated on the landward side. I was told on booking that we could only stay for a specific time so they could accommodate others. Not a good vibe. Service was a little hit-and-miss at first. Our food was good. My wife had the fish with ravioli, and I had the pork fillet. Mine was a huge serving! We'd have liked some vegetables with the main course, even if only a garnish. Amici has it's own car park, and a nice patio for outside dining.

Booked last minute today for 3pm. 4 adults 2 children and a baby, ( bonus we got the window seat facing the sea- watched the air show CoastGuard help) Jack was amazing, very tentative and very friendly. Food amazing as usual, lobster special was something else. Beef pasta special and two cod dishes also amazing. Kids meals great size and staff and kitchen very accommodating bringing our kids with the starters. Can never fault amici. Will be back again soon I hope!

I liked the restaurant, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the drinks were okay too. The beer was particularly good, the cocktail, well. The price is a bit higher, but quite acceptable. You can easily get there on foot or by car. There is enough parking space. The toilets are extremely clean and overall I had a good experience.

Had dinner here food beautiful. Excellent service and atmosphere 😊. Shall return again.

Booked a week in advance, text received asking for confirmation 15 minutes before arrival stating table would be cancelled if not confirmed (why would I book if I wasn't going to go?) Pleasant starters arrived and were enjoyed, then a horrendous 1 hr wait ( before asking what the delay was ) are main course arrived, everyone's meal was fine but my meal which was the Cod had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp and the sauce had started to congeal and the fish had dried out. I appreciate that this place is busy but concentrate on serving your customers quickly and not having to be asked where is my food.

The food here is expensive for a bang average Italian serving easy made starters, pasta, pizza and grill dishes. The size of menu should be your first warning sign. The prices are on a par with, and exceed, those I've paid in London - where they guarantee better quality and service. This should be your second warning sign. Tables are offered with a fixed 2 hour time slot, continuing the theme this should be your third warning sign. Amici deliver a fast food experience - you will be rushed out onto the 'terrazo' with a cable running through a puddle; even if you're still eating your food, and the charming staff will be making rude hand gestures to each other to indicate their displeasure that you're still there. The kitchen is unable to make more than 6 meals at a time. As a party seated at 2 tables one table was served their food a solid 10 minutes earlier than the other. Never again.

I went as the only vegan in a party of 4 and was pleasantly surprised at the size and the tastiness of my risotto. My friends also enjoyed their seafood courses. Service incredible, views perfect and bill crazy cheap! Will definitely revisit - much better food and value than anywhere in Portrush m

Given 2 hours for a table of 15. This is an acceptable timeframe if the service had not taken 15 mins to take our drink order and then taken 30 mins to take our food order. Barely finished our main course when pushing us to get our desserts. Then made us move outside to the cold, wet veranda to finish the desserts. They cleared the table round our children and forced us out. Never offered tea or coffee. Service very slow, ineffective, inefficient and quite rude as we watched a member of the serving team making rude gestures towards our tables about making us move. The mature thing to do would have been to ask us to move rather than passive aggressively push us off the table.

Visited on 8th August. Party of 10.Top notch food and great vibe. The lady looking after us (Joanne) was 1st class on her customer service and rapport. Unfortunately the big let down was the rude bedside manner of the Floor Manager (Alan) who when delivering our orders to the table was abrupt, told us to ssshhush and be quiet when asking who ordered which meal. No excuses for this behaviour...unprofessional and could have been handled so differently. 😔

We enjoyed a family dinner here on Friday night. Our first time here. There were 6 adults, 3 children and 1 infant. Everyone of us enjoyed our meals and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We booked for 5.15pm, the restaurant was very busy. Obviously a peak time for families. We did have to wait some time on our food, but I guess that was to be expected, with it being fully booked. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, great choice of menu for both adults and children. Not overpriced either, in our opinion. We will definitely be returning here. Many thanks indeed.

Been a few times now and the steak is to die for.. full off flavour, seating etc was hard like an old school desk chair and a bit uncomfortable but would defo go again for the steak

Great food at great location ... a must visit

We had a fantastic night. The four of us ordered different starters & mains and shared two desserts. We enjoyed everything and even the 50 mins walk home in torrential rain as there were no taxis couldn't spoil our night.

Great food and service at a reasonable price. If you get a window table the views are great over the golf course and out over the bay. If you want to eat between 18:00 and 20:00 book early.

Great little place for family dining. Parking at the rear with a view of the golf course. We visited twice on our stay in Port Stewart. The first visit felt much different to the second, we had a very friendly welcome and great service. The second time there was no rapport with the girl looking after our table and the service was very slow. The food was very good the first time round, the second time I took a chance on the pasta special, it wasn't very tasty. Despite the second time not being as good as the first I would give this restaurant another chance. It's worth a visit to see for yourself.

The food was as usual outstanding the service top drawer but it was soo packed my wife and could hardly hear each other

Many of the menu items specify that there is cheese of some description in the dish. However, the meatballs do not. Nowhere on the menu does it state that there is cheese, but the waitresses confessed the mince is made with parmesan. Very dismissive and made to feel like it was our fault. Not ideal for anyone that has a lactose intolerance.

Only giving a decent review on food as my boyfriend enjoyed it. Menu outlines ingredients included - I picked a meal (I don’t eat cheese) and it came with cheese which wasn’t mentioned - the staff made me feel about 2 inches tall - paid and left - can’t say much more - boyfriend enjoyed his meal - service and manager on shift made me feel like I was in the wrong - if you can outline the risotto as including Parmesan shavings and most other menu items - you can do the same for the pasta - it’s not difficult! Be nicer to customers - the accusatory tone I received was unwelcome and the night could have been saved by better service.

Booked for hubby's birthday. Food was lovely. Staff friendly and welcoming.

After hearing everyone going on about this place we decided to give it a go. Staff really friendly and welcoming, great setting on a sunny evening. Had chilli salted prawns for starter. Was over cooked but wasn't the worst iv ever eaten. Main was stake on pasta with truffle cream and mushroom sauce. The flavour in the sauce was beautiful but the pasta was under cooked, but was still enjoyable. Would I go back again? Yes..

Dinner for 2, busy Monday evening with lovely panoramic sea view as the sun set. We both had the cod special with mushroom ravioli and creamy sauce. Shared asparagus and a chocolate cheesecake desert. Cod was fine, slightly overcooked. Pasta didn't taste fresh, dry filling with no real umami kick to a mushroom based dish. Sauce was tasty and made the whole thing slightly more flavourful + moist. Overall underwhelming for £23 per head. Asparagus side was grilled without oil, served unseasoned. £6 for 8 small pieces. Laughably overpriced and under-portioned. Really felt like a rip off. Cheesecake was rich, salty and sweet and probably the best part of the meal. Portioned generously and enough for 2. Served with cream and a chocolate based sauce. Biscuit base could've done with a bit more crunch and depth. Service, which seems to be the selling point of this restaurant was distinctly average. The staff were friendly but didn't interact with us beyond dropping the food off and grabbing the plates. Nobody asked if things were okay with the meal. Lengthy wait for the bill to arrive and then advised to go to the main desk to pay despite 3 service staff sat around not actually serving anyone. Overall impression of Amici: food well below the standard required to be charging £30 / head, service was fine but didn't feel above the minimum standard, lovely location and decor - cosy + scenic spot. Overall 6/10, largely for the average food + memorably overpriced vegetables.

Please stop substituting pesto for basil and olive oil...had this happen at another Italian restaurant in Ireland. You are so close to Italy. You should consider consulting an Italian on how to prepare their food properly. Also, get some ripe tomatoes (again, happened at another restaurant in Ireland).
