The best restaurants in Carrickfergus North Eastern NI

Very busy wee place. Located in a courtyard with access through the rear. Had previously been a burrito establishment and coffee house before that. As you enter you are at the counter which usually has a queue. Service is quick enough but be aware if people are getting meals etc it will be a longer wait. Food is similar to last time was a coffee shop. At lunch they had sandwiches, toasties, paints pie and I think lasagne was available. Range of tray bakes Inc caramel short bread and scones. The toasties were warm, but not hot enough for my liking. Ham, pineapple and toast could have been warmer. Nice enough but too much cheese for my own liking. Staff are really lovely and accommodating. The only issue I have is that some tables are very close together, with only a few inches between ( less than 6). Tea and coffee were good. Will give it another go but maybe for morning or afternoon tea as lunch too busy.

This place does the best pizzas. Piping hot.delivery was very quick.best pizza I've had for a while.great value and staff very friendly.il definitely be getting from there again.

We ordered online for pick up after I phoned to see if they were open. The person told us we would get a first order discount if we downloaded the app to order, which we did The food was piping hot, fresh,non greasy and very tasty. We would highly recommend.

Great value for money clean lovely room overall a really nice experience.

The food is amazing. I get the zinger burger normally, and it's great. The price for the food is very good too and they cater for kids. The bar is decent too and they have great screens for footy. Would definitely recommend the entire experience as a whole. GET THE FOOD THOUGH! Also have to mention the rugby field out the back. It's massively improved and they have teams for all ages. My kid plays in the younger team.

Directly facing the railway station. Bright interior. Generous mini-fry breakfast. Fresh coffee. Good service. Excellent spot for train users. Chairs a tad uncomfortable, but that might just be me.

Great place to meet the locals and share in the banter .

Myself and my family are regular customers of this place. Simply is usually lovely, possibly the best in Carrickfergus. Although we got an order for 3 12 inch pizzas and a 9 inch. When we received the order, some of the pizzas had hardly any cheese. While eating the food there was a terrible taste especially of the dough, it tasted like it was going off. This is unusual for simply. Pizzas weren't enjoyed and felt like a waste of £35 as all 4 pizzas tasted terrible. Everyone is feeling a bit sick after the food we ate. Again a regular customer for over 20 years, disappointed.

Discovered this place on a short break in Carrickfergus and it's my new favourite diner. We've have breakfast, lunch and dinner here and can't fault it at all. Really good portions, perfectly cooked food, and at a great price. Highly recommend the garlic cubed potatoes and the burgers.

Surely the friendliest Mauds around. Delighted to be able to get the vegan version of my favourite Poor Bear at this store. A perfect dairy free treat!

Chicken burger, fish and goujons were absolutely fantastic. Looking forward to trying their pizzas and other items on the menu. Staff are very quicky and incredibly friendly. Only disappointing thing is the taco chip doesn't have mince.

I love ordering fries from here. Had another 10 piece fry today and it was amazing. The vegetable roll was different but it was the nicest vegetable roll I have ever had. I love this place, highly recommend.
