The best restaurants in Castle Demesne Ballymena North Eastern NI

So 8:10pm on a Tuesday evening isn’t a great time to find sit down food in Ballymena. Rang through to this restaurant and thankfully they kept the kitchen open for us and awaited our arrival (thanks to the barman/manager). I had the traditional Northern Ireland dish, chicken on mash with tobacco onions and pepper sauce 😆, my mother had chile chicken with a side. Both meals were excellently presented, hot and delicious (compliments to the chef); and reasonably priced. So I would highly recommend this restaurant, I will definitely be back.

Took over an hour and a half to be delivered, chips were soggy and Luke warm, bbq chicken with bean sprouts was awful, chicken was like cardboard, no bbq sauce, and stone cold. Tried ringing but kept getting voicemail.

I booked lunch for my wife and I with retired siblings and husbands on Thursday 12th September 2024. There were 9 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food. I could recommend it to anyone any time of day the staff friendly and helpful also the it’s very clean. So next time you are in Ballymena you should go eat in the Adair Arms Bar & Grill

Not undercooked but raw sausages avoid. Wasn’t changed but not the point had already eaten one. Will never be back just shouldn’t happen in this day and age

They allways make nice and taste pizza anyway I order phone or personally the staff lovely and helpful.

John has to be one of the best sports 😂 this pub is definitely one to visit thank you granny 📞😂

I had a great lunch in Bob & Bert’s Ballymena. Marie the manager who served me was very cheerful and made a great recommendation for my lunch.

Good coffee. Nice staff and surroundings. Really good display of food.

Went in and and placed my order on returning to my vehicle to eat it I noticed both meals where wrong I returned them and they made them again to which they where wrong for a second time, absolutely useless not hard to listen to an order and take it down, no organisation at all will never be back!

I always pop in here after work to buy dinner for my wife and I . Never disappointed. Very pleasant service and owner . Very generous portions and served hot . Five full stars .
