Enjoyed a very nice lunch in the Clock Tower, very efficient and friendly staff. We really liked the warm, friendly atmosphere in the cafe, highly recommend and certainly will call in again for lunch or a coffee.

After waiting 2 hours on a delivery we rang and cancelled our order!! Tbh I don't think our food was ever arriving 🤬 Flipping joke of a place!!

Ordered a small fry and a large fry..the hash browns are small balls of potato..the yolk in the fried eggs were hard(disappointing). The rest of the fry was OK.. the price for this and 2 teas was £24..too expensive for what we received....iv had their coffee which is lovely, but won't go back for breakfast.

Had this place booked for three weeks they cancelled whilst on the ferry from Scotland. Book here at your own risk or rather don't book somewhere else. This hotel has been removed from hotels.com because it is unreliable.

Ordered a pizza box and thinking it would be nice and full like other Chinese’s but this came with barely any chicken chips and was also told it came with rice which it did not honestly so disappointed as I used to love this Chinese. Wouldn’t order again!!

They changed the chips and they are discusting now the kebab shop was so good with their delicious chips now they have let down so many people

Great food and service however 2 kids (aged 4 and 5) wanted skinny fries.....like burger King. Dishes arrived and the skinny fries were like normal chips

We got a big order with family over to cover 8 people we went here for the first time as all the Chineses was closed that was close to us and we tried happy garden for the first time and evey single person was happy taking all little details of the order in to account.. curry was mild that we asked for,chips were well done that we asked,great service by the 2 girls at the counter,great service our family will be definitely back.

Having initially offered a lunchtime meal for £10 including a drink, that soon changed to £10 not including a drink. Then £11. Then £12 and now £13. Not content with that my chicken curry yesterday arrived looking like a pea curry with some chicken in it. We have already cut down our once weekly visit to once a month. At their current rate of price rises and cutting corners that gap will only increase. The service is always good though. UPDATE: Porridge and coffee this morning. They didn't hold back on the portion of porridge. Good strong coffee as well.

Not impressed, food average and took ages to come. Coffee was cold when it came and service not great, very busy and sat us on a bench

Love, love,love this place. I’m vegetarian, he isn’t. It’s great finding a chippy to cater for both of us. Menu selection is great. I’ve been here several times and can’t fault it.
