Happy Garden in Magherafelt

We got a big order with family over to cover 8 people we went here for the first time as all the Chineses was closed that was close to us and we tried happy garden for the first time and evey single person was happy taking all little details of the order in to account.. curry was mild that we asked for,chips were well done that we asked,great service by the 2 girls at the counter,great service our family will be definitely back.

Food is nice but service shocking , arrived at 10:40 and was told no more orders (it’s closed at 11pm) I was told by the young girl when I arrived “ I can’t be bothered doing anymore”

Had a nice meal here. Its sweet and sour has a small piece of pineapple and tomato in the sauce. That's the way it used to be so many Chinese take aways have forgotten about that small detail. Happy Garden have got it right.Well done. Can't wait to my next visit .

Having tried dozens of Chineses in NI, this remains the best one for me. Pity it's in a dump in the middle of nowhere ...

Not gonna lie even know we live in Knockloughrim 10+ years, this will always be our favourite chinese. Stunning chicken curry, chicken balls and french fried onions are perfect. Ham fried rice & chips all unreal 😍 highly recommended. Never got sick out of it. Only downfall clearly is you cant see out the back, but if never got sick its clear to assume its fine! Busy times theres quite a wait but its clearly a very popular chinese in a populated area so its to be expected. Handy parking on the road outside, altho careful getting out of your car as I swear you would lose a wing mirror or a leg very handy lol - not everyone obeys the speed limit on that street! All in all, lovely takeaway and clearly 5 star!

Good cheap Chinese- bit of a lifesaver on a late Sunday night. Food excellent if a tad limited.

Most of the food is ok but don't order a steak as it will be as tough as an old boot.

Order came wrong. When tried to phone back would not answer the phone even tho was 11:30 took over an hour to get food delivered and was slightly cold when we got it. This use to be a great Chinese but it seems to have gone down hill.
