The restaurant has a very cozy and beautiful atmosphere, and it never feels overcrowded. The staff and service were excellent. However, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations—I was hoping for something a bit more flavorful. The fish dish I ordered tasted just like something I would make at home. My husband had pasta with duck, but there were only a few small pieces of duck in the dish.
We came to the conclusion that pizza is the best choice here, as most guests seemed to be ordering it. I also noticed that there is no dress code some diners arrived straight from the gym, wearing sports shorts and carrying large gym bags.
Tiny little fish & chip shop with really good fish, so fresh and perfectly crispy. They wrap your order in butcher paper to absorb the oil which also keeps in the steam, so eat it fast. Take away only.
Nice location for a meal, snack or just a coffee. Friendly staff.
I visited again today, after several years, still a very nice location with friendly staff and good food.
Tried this Chinese for the first time had a salted chilli chicken and curry sauce with fried rice and it’s probably one of the best salted chilli chickens I’ve had in a while. Also bought a portion of prawn crackers, which I’m pretty sure was made to order as they were fresh. All in £14.10 which was pretty reasonable.
Had a takeaway meal one evening. My wife and I were very sick that night and my wife for two days afterwards and me for one week. I blamed the prawns which I ate all of and my wife had very little of. That was the second time I didn’t feel good after a meal, so never again will I darken their door.
