Fish was fried in black oil, the burnt oil was the dominant taste…Scampi was from frozen with so poor quality, only 6 scampi with chips and a bit of peas was £11, it certainly did not worth it and did not taste fresh, waste of money, won’t go back and don’t recommend
Taking your card information, sending out food without the money being taken properly which resulted in my card being blocked then phoning asking for cash whilst eating the already cold food to add insult to injury. Then having the delivery driver insult me after collecting the money. Avoid this place.
Just ate the worst meal ever. Special fried rice, without the fried rice basically. Stodgy boiled rice and you could've literally counted the grains, there was so little of it. Full of vegetables,in a single carton, barely any thing else. The Peking ribs tasted nothing like it, very sharp taste of vinegar, practically no meat just fat.Basic spring rolls,no flavour, literally bland. Nothing nice about any of this food. The only positive was the lady that served is was very nice.

I've been here before and it was honestly amazing, so I was shocked when I passed here today and saw.. it was all burnt to the ground and completely destroyed! The criminal who caused this should be ashamed of themselves for committing such acts. Let's hope that this business will rise from the ashes once again (I think it'll be rebuilt sometime soon) and that full support goes to the owners of this wonderful business.
Really tasty menu choices. We had the smokey Joe toasties with extra chips. Sausage on the side for the dog ( allowed at the back patio area). I had wanted the halloumi sourdough but that’s a breakfast choice ( we were there for lunch) so we’ll be back! Great friendly service once ordered and paid at the till. Cakes for pudding which were delicious. Fab atmosphere and although really busy felt spacious and plenty room. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice place. People are nice and helpful. Rooms are ok. Bathrooms is tight setup. Breakfast staff made us feel rushed. Bar staff were great. Front desk very nice. Close to causeway.
Stopping in on a wet day. Was near for walking out as it was upstairs and I wasn't sure it was open but the barman popped out of the bar and told us it was open.
Quiet but it was April. The waitress was friendly enough but a but distant. The facilities were nice and well done up.
Food was very good and plan to pop back again in the summer.
Visited Dora’s after a recommendation from friends. Was a gorgeous sunny day and my kids were thrilled to play outside in the small park while we waited for lunch. Lots of choice and I couldn’t believe the gluten free choices - I had the nicest gf toastie I’ve had in a very long time. Kids enjoyed their toastie and panini as well and we will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.
Suggestion to the management, please provide good training to your staff on how to treat customers. Not sure it is problem with specific person working at this location but me and my friend were ignored consistently like we does not exist. After waiting for ~20 mins we returned without buying any drinks. Bar tender knew we were next in line but he kept serving others. Is it because we are not locals? Or because of our country of origin? Hope this does not happen to other Asians

Extremely disappointed. Was really looking forward to returning here after a temporary closure, as the food used to be fantastic. Firstly staff were rude to my husband when he went to collect the order as they presented him with a different total than the price I had been told on the phone and he didnt have enough cash with him. Our order was all wrong, so the person who took the order on the phone obviously misheard, but they didn't read it back to me to check.
I asked for cashew nuts in my chow mein, which I didn't get, asked for King Prawn balls and got Cantonese style. The chips were overcooked and full of bad bits. My beef was so overcooked and tough I would've been better boiling my boots and trying to eat them instead.
Ended up with my wee boy in tears as he had been so looking forward to his meal and couldn't eat it because the prawns were in a sauce that he doesn't like, which is precisely why I get Prawn balls as they come with the sauce separate.
We won't be back.

When the old owners were in it was always good, when it was took over the food went downhill. I avoided emerald city for a while after this happened. Recently I rang to place an order and the girl on the phone argued with me about what I asked for, rather than just giving what I asked for the second time round. Will definitely not be back under any circumstances after the cheek on the phone. Very childish and poor food quality.
