Good food, attentive and pleasant staff. Nice atmosphere set in Moravian iconic village of Gracehill outside Ballymena.
Not a licensed premises so you can bring your own alcohol so cuts the cost. Food great and generous helpings with great choices.
I've ate out at this restaurant several times before and was always impressed.
Today we went for the carvery and despite being advertised it wasn't on.
We ordered from the sunday lunch menu. My husband had turkey and ham dinner. There was no vegetables or no roast potato. He had turkey, ham, small amount of champ, Yorkshire pudding. We had expecting the have vegetables with it on a Sunday roast.
I had pork and again it was a small portion. A small amount of champ, small amount of shredded cabbage and the quality it's self was just Ok.
I don't think I would return
Gluten free no problem, I had the battered chicken, garlic chips and bbq sauce 😋 👌
Can not fault the food or service. Hubby had salted chilli chicken loaded fries.
100% would recommend
Really disappointed with the service in Dougie's goodies, I asked for fresh cream in an apple turnover I was told No the bakers are to busy, I used to work in leiths home bakery and if a customer asked for cream in an apple turnover I would of went and got the piping bag myself and put fresh cream in it which only took a minute. They have lost me as customer and lost a sale
