The best restaurants in England

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The location overlooking the harbour is perfect. The hotel itself has been refurbished to an extremely high standard the decor is tasteful creating a wonderful ambience. We stayed in a King room with a view of the harbour . The bed was really comfortable the room spotlessly clean, the bathroom was spacious and high quality toiletries were provided. The breakfast was first class lots of choice and good quality ingredients. The staff couldnt be more accommodating or cheerful. We would definitely return and would highly recommend to family and friends. Jane and Tyrel Bennett

Good "old man's pub" (Sam Smith's) that is friendly, reasonable and has good beer, with seating out back.

ordered 2 hrs before delivery time , still late however not the worst thing. Shashlik chicken was extremely dry to a point I couldn't eat it. other meals in the past have been good so this was very disappointing

Best pint of Guinness in Coventry. Family run, traditional local pub. Great atmosphere.

The food was very fresh and delicious. The delivery was also quick and the driver was friendly too. Highly recommend the restaurant great for money.

I ordered cottage pie - what I was served was minced beef on a plate and next to it ( not on top of the meat) was runny 'mash' that dropped off my fork, I couldn't eat the meal and informed the owner, who said they 'deconstruct the meal as that's how customers like it ' my question is what about the customers ordering Cottage pie who actually want TRADITIONAL COTTAGE PIE,? no apology, no refund NOTHING!! I WILL NOT BE VISITING THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Exceptionally good food, way above even normal gastropub food. Definitely worth a detour. Charming service too.

Quick service and everything came out same time which is brilliant for a table of 12 food absolutely lovely food will definitely going again

I’ve eaten here more than 20 times now, during the day, evenings and sometimes have a cheeky take away. Consistently excellent food, lovely staff and great atmosphere. My favourite place to eat. Highly recommend the smashed avocado with everything on it. The coffee and cakes are exceptional too.
