Wow. What a find. Such a lovely welcoming place very small so booking essential. Had carnivore sharing platter. Couldn’t fault it. Steak was excellent. Ribs beautiful and the potato balls best ever had. My mum had lamb chops and so much meat. The girls serving worked tirelessly. Ben the owner was so friendly to us all. Would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Called for an early lunch on Wednesday afternoon. It was very busy but luckily managed to get a table. This place is my favourite go to for breakfast or lunch. The guy is a chef… not a cook. The food he turns out… it’s fantastic. More like something you’d get in a fancy London restaurant not a little cafe in Thorne! We ordered quiche , bbq chicken toastie and chicken and leek pie and everything was perfect. All homemade, the chicken in the pie melted in the mouth. Best chips around and my quiche had a really tasty side salad with balsamic glaze. I keep saying I’m going to try a theme night here but haven’t got round to it yet, but it’s definitely something I need to try… the photos look amazing. The waitresses are always really friendly too… very clean establishment…. Best cafe in Yorkshire!!

Nosotros (tres hombres maduros) todos tuvimos el desayuno grande. A 10 libras. 50 (incluyendo una bebida caliente) pensamos que era una buena relación calidad-precio. Personalmente, tengo que decir que fue el mejor desayuno cocinado que he tenido en años. Todo estaba listo. Disfruté particularmente de las espesas salchichas de tocino y los huevos bien cocidos. Además de la calidad de la comida, también disfrutamos de una pequeña broma con el personal amable. Mi única crítica menor es que el café no tiene baños de clientes.

This spot is great for a quiet lunch made with the freshest ingredients. We loved the Brie & cranberry grilled cheese sandwich, but everything, every salad & dessert was delicious!!

It was a warm spring day as we wandered around the town. Good choice of ice creams and we opted for pistachio for me and honeycomb for my husband. Lovely ice cream ad a real treat!

What a great place. We had two toasted tea cakes. And two drinks, best tea cakes we've had for a long time. Very friendly place,service excellent and people very friendly. Will definitely go back when in the area. If you're passing it is worth a stop.
