Visited for Sunday Lunch. Amazing value for money. Great food and service. Very friendly.

The food is absolutely incredible, my mouth waters even before I've walked in the shop! I travel past 6 other Chinese takeaways and 5 villages just to go here! Can't recommend enough if you a Chineseaholic!!

Wrose Fisheries has been going since 1935 and still serve the best fish and chips around.

For me, probably one of the best eating/drinking places in Hull. It's not cheap, but the quality more than softens that blow. Food is prepared fresh in front of you, Mark is happy to chat about the inspiration and ethos behind the creations. The cocktails are unbelievable, tasty different to all the common or garden "trendy"ones churned out by others. The atmosphere is relaxed, music is superb. Award winning take on a Sunday roast. Give it a go you won't be disappointed

Another fantastic evening here tapas was beautifully cooked and presented we were sat in the back area which was lovely and warm and well presented. The food was quickly brought from ordering and the lovely girls serving did a great job .did make us chuckle cos proper Yorkshire lasses .definitely be returning thank you

Excellent cafe, went with family, had stacked pancakes with maple syrup, blueberries, and bacon. Fantastic. Going again next week will have the same.

Odd cakes. Very weird hosting skills. When asked what kind of cake is it spongy, moist, dry was told its not the usual cake I'm used to. Eh??

Visited for my daughter’s birthday. Service and friendliness were excellent however the key ingredient was the food. Superb and authentic Italian cuisine. We all cleared our plates and my seafood linguine was the best I’ve had in a long time. We had a mixed selection of starters and finished off with home made deserts. We even had a bottle of Italian white that doesn’t give you a hangover!!!!!( according to our pleasant host.

Friendly staff. Lovely chips. Large fish " Michael " is a joke. Very small and not good value. We were very disappointed. Won't be returning.
