The best restaurants in Wakefield Yorkshire and The Humber

Ferinds posted a photo of their lunch last week on facebook - looked good so decided to try ourselves. We were not disappointed! Lovely warm welcome, excellent food choices with very generous portions. Friendly, helpful service. We'll definitely be back!

They've spent a lot of money and absolutely ruined a beautiful pub with plenty of character turning it into an identik Wayfare furniture place that are ten a penny everywhere. Great job. What next, are they going to ruin Three Pigeons Ale House in Halifax, surely they'll give that a go

Friendly staff and nice environment. Food was good and reasonably priced. All of the meat was really well seasoned which added to the great taste.

It was ok food was hot service was good . Don't expect home cooked food, what we got was good for chain pub food

what can i say. i had reheated and rubberised chrispy chicken. i actually got jaw ache eating it. i was so close to taking it back. the food was not the best honestly!! but thanks for the free prawn crackers were a treat and the best part off the meal... i think also some cleaning of the shop is needed. the shop windows are filthy full of cobmebs. they dont look like they have been cleaned in years!! i should have turned around and walked out when i saw the state!! passed onto FSS as recommendations for another food safety and hygiene inspection be done

Really enjoyed the visit. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Large menu, cater for food allergies, the food was delicious, I will definitely be eating there again soon. I visited on a Saturday at 6pm, it was busy all evening so I would recommend booking ahead.

Only 1 person serving a queue that went out of the door and down the street. 3 more could be seen in the back and the 1 person serving acted like there was all the time in the world , no urgency at all. This is always the case in this branch , this store could make so much more money if they moved faster.

Great service, lovely food, good value and accept blue light card also. Been done up since we visited last time as well, will be coming again after shopping at the outlet again!
