Bit a valentines dinner with the wife. Lovely Carvery. Loads of options & variety. Great cuts of meat cooked perfect all veg flavoured and seasoned. Great atmosphere & lovely friendly staff. Recommended!!

First time I've been here, most of the carvery was nice but certain veg were hard and yorkshire pudding were like soggy pancakes. I payed extra for a decent yorkshire pudding.

Food is lovely, service is ok but they don't listen to your request. Twice now I've prebooked with teens and asked not to be put in family dining and selected adult dining. Both times we've been put right next to the children's play area.

Lovely breakfast at Silkwood farm. Buffet well stocked and the lovely server exchanged a hot drink for me no problem at all. Overall great service every time we go and the food is nice, especially the cake away!

Came for a carvery on the 1st feb at 5pm with my partner and son. The carvery was awful definately the worst I’ve had, everything tasted re heated chewy, or burnt. Roast potatoes were bland, the beef was fatty and no seasoning at all. My son had a mixed grill and he said it was the worst he had due to the sausage tasting like hot dogs! We left most of it on our plates apart from taking the beef home for the dog and she even refused it! Will not be returning there esp at a cost of £50

Booked for 20 people for my partners birthday. Staff were great and Amanda and Kathy really looked after us, especially with bringing the cake out and singing happy birthday.

Absolutely brilliant service, everyone helpful, smiling, accommodating. Young gent serving carvery most polite and so was the the gentleman finding us a table. Lovely waitresses and brilliant food selection (I am a vegetarian and I loved the veggie choice!). Will be back soon!

Dropped in at 11.30am just as the Carvery opened with all freshly cooked products, car park has plenty of spaces. Lovely lady Colette serving me today and checking everything was to our satisfaction. Another nice lunch cooked to perfection. See you again soon.

Absolutely awesome beautiful food for breakfast for the price it’s amazing. Colette & sammii made feel so welcome. They could not have done anymore nothing was any trouble at all. As I have MND it means some times I’m unable to control my arms & hands. They brought me my coffee across so I didn’t end up with it all over me and the floor. I can’t thank them enough for kindness not just to me other customers as well.

Clean and tidy. Attentive staff. Good food, other than carvery can take a while so if table ordering carvery and off menu maybe wait ten to fifteen minutes after ordering before going for the carverys so you all eat together. Preferable to book especially at peak lunchtimes and weekends.

Just been for breakfast wasn't sure if it was even open looked closed anyway it was open and we went in for breakfast the place was dead so staff not exactly rushed off there feet yet everything on the breakfast was freezing cold even the tea and coffee was only just luke warm absolutely shocking now we understand why the place was dead oh well back to Toby carvery from now on for a nice hot breakfast just how it should be happy Saturday just don't start your day with a breakfast from here.

This is our local and it’s always brilliant. Tried a new menu item tonight for the hunter chicken burger and it was delicious. Crispy chicken and great sauce! Drinks are fast served and everyone is always so nice to help, Amanda was a great help! Would definitely recommend.

Carvery was good but we had to wait 45 minutes for the pudding to come out after our main course after letting several member of staff know we were ready for our pudding. The pudding was great. Just service that let the Expences down.

100% better with the new manager the place is clean and back to life. If you came with the previous manager and since avoided like we did I suggest you try it again as the place is completely turned around. The carvery is fresh and all seating areas are open. Staff are very helpful and the food is good.

Great pub with plenty of seating inside and out. Excellent food (The carvery is up there with the best around!) and service. The team are very welcoming and really go above and beyond for their customers with any needs they may have. I advise you to try the cakes and deserts, you definitely need to save room for them but they are unbelievable. Prices are very reasonable and online with what you'd expect to pay today.
