Lovely fresh new building and interior, everything spotless, ordered two breakfasts with coffee, breakfast choice was fab all fresh and hot very tasty….staff all friendly and welcoming…..thank you we will be back ❤️

Love the new look Friendly warm welcome and everything was explained clear and professionally. Breakfast was very tasty and loving the new hot drinks machine. Amanda was very helpful and happy in her work, she's the sort of worker everyone wants in there business. Will certainly be returning

We came on the first day of opening after the refurbishment and I’ve got to say it looks absolutely fantastic! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The new way of ordering a carvery and the new soft drinks system is great! A little disappointed some of my favourites were removed in the new menu but the food is still just as incredible definitely got some new favourites!

Wow! What can i say ... i took my daughter and grandchildren in for lunch. The host told me that the reopening wasn't until the following Tuesday but welcomed us in explaining the only thing was we could not pay for meals only drinks. We had the loveliest experience staff, food, cleanliness, redecoration were amazing. Thank you do much . We will be back!

WOW– what a transformation! The place looks fantastic, really tasteful update while keeping that cosy pub feel. Atmosphere was spot on – lively but relaxed, with a great mix of people. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier – proper lovely bunch who make you feel right at home. Massive shout out to the kids’ area too – absolutely brilliant setup. The little ones had a blast which meant we could sit back and enjoy ourselves. And the cakes? Absolutely to die for – rich, indulgent, and worth every bite. All in all, a brilliant spot whether you're there with the family or just fancy a quiet pint and something sweet. Already planning our next visit.

Had the pleasure of going to silkwood farm ossett today before the official opening by invitation only. The place looks fantastic they have done a brilliant refurbishment. Had a gorgeous carvery ,, the staff are lovely and usual and good luck to there new ones .lovely people and great place to work. Cannot wait to take Granddaughter

I’d like to leave a heartfelt thank you for the incredible kindness shown to my dad (IRVIN) today. Even though the pub was closed for refurbishment, he turned up not realising but instead of turning him away, the manager warmly welcomed him in, made him a meal, and treated him with such generosity. It was his birthday, and not only did he get a delicious meal, but he didn’t have to pay a penny for anything. That small act of kindness meant the world to him and to us. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, and we’re truly grateful. Thank you for going above and beyond! Thanks, Jessica Barlow

My first time here i went with some friends who took their kids the soft play area is good The place was quite Tbh the food was ok We had the breakfast it was hot service was good staff were polite and helpful Id go again

Got seated straight away, we were told that due to a upcoming refurb the menu was missing some items. We found the food we wanted and ordered on the app, the was straight forward. The food came but the kids burgers were missing cheese and bacon but this was rectified straight away, the food tasted good as always. Our server was Amanda and nothing was too much trouble for her

Brilliant service was a quick booking due to being let down elsewhere with a phone call we were squeezed in on a busy Sunday. The service was excellent and couldn't do enough for me and my partner. Staff were very helpful and attentive, plus the Carvery was delicious with plenty to choose from. Was informed by Lizzy that they are shutting for refurbishment purposes so once reopened we will certainly be back 😀

absouloutly vile never again had to make my own gravy they was not even half a carton brought the meat and yorkshire pudding was the only thing we ate it was that bad even my dogs refused to eat it worse £40 spent ever

I have become a regular here of late, with great food and atmosphere we are never disappointed. Breakfast is always spot on and leaves me full until dinner time. Having sampled most items on the menu I can't fault anything I have tried. Staff are always pleasant and helpful, well mannered and well presented. Today Harry was particularly helpful, thank you 🙂

Bit a valentines dinner with the wife. Lovely Carvery. Loads of options & variety. Great cuts of meat cooked perfect all veg flavoured and seasoned. Great atmosphere & lovely friendly staff. Recommended!!

First time I've been here, most of the carvery was nice but certain veg were hard and yorkshire pudding were like soggy pancakes. I payed extra for a decent yorkshire pudding.

Food is lovely, service is ok but they don't listen to your request. Twice now I've prebooked with teens and asked not to be put in family dining and selected adult dining. Both times we've been put right next to the children's play area.

Food cold. Small portions of meat. Beef dry. Roast potatoes tasted like they had been reheated from day before. Usually really happy with Silkwood farm and I visit often. Sadly I was left disappointed this time.

Booked for 20 people for my partners birthday. Staff were great and Amanda and Kathy really looked after us, especially with bringing the cake out and singing happy birthday.

Came for a carvery on the 1st feb at 5pm with my partner and son. The carvery was awful definately the worst I’ve had, everything tasted re heated chewy, or burnt. Roast potatoes were bland, the beef was fatty and no seasoning at all. My son had a mixed grill and he said it was the worst he had due to the sausage tasting like hot dogs! We left most of it on our plates apart from taking the beef home for the dog and she even refused it! Will not be returning there esp at a cost of £50

Absolutely awesome beautiful food for breakfast for the price it’s amazing. Colette & sammii made feel so welcome. They could not have done anymore nothing was any trouble at all. As I have MND it means some times I’m unable to control my arms & hands. They brought me my coffee across so I didn’t end up with it all over me and the floor. I can’t thank them enough for kindness not just to me other customers as well.

Clean and tidy. Attentive staff. Good food, other than carvery can take a while so if table ordering carvery and off menu maybe wait ten to fifteen minutes after ordering before going for the carverys so you all eat together. Preferable to book especially at peak lunchtimes and weekends.
