The best restaurants in Wakefield East Wakefield Yorkshire and The Humber

Just noticed this place after being dropped off at the station, and as soon as I’d had my first sip, I concluded what’s in the title!! Pastries are top quality too!! Nicely done, and thanks for the great start this morning!!!

Absolutely disgusting found hair in the waffle , waffles here soggy and ice cream was melted and horrible. Very sickening would not recommended anyone to go here . Felt really sick after wards!!!!!

Absolutely delicious home cooked food from the heart. Cannot fault anything. The service the generosity, the hospitality. Cannot recommend more highly... They don't serve alcohol yet but maybe they could charge you a small corking fee if you wanted to bring your own.

The best presented breakfast I’ve seen. Never greasy and with a strong portion size. Really nice staff and overall a really nice place. Strongly recommend if you live in the area or even passing through.

Run by the best & friendliest staff ever!!! They alway greet their regulars & provide excellent service always. These ladies need recognition from their regional management!!👏👏👏

This is now a pizza place! The Eastern Europeans have moved out... I had a quick beer and a take away to take on to the train. Service was quick, the beer was fresh and the food excellent.

Lovely little place, welcoming and really tasty food.

We saw The Pizza Yard, which is a few minutes walk from the Hepworth Gallery. We hadn’t booked but were lucky to be squeezed in. The Pizza Yard team were very friendly and service was great. We really enjoyed the sharing plate and the pizzas were delicious. A great find in Wakefield.

Renovated the place which I loved. I go there every week or two to get vapes for myself. Not tried the food but hear it’s amazing. The chap always makes sure I’m well. Hopefully he’s hiring soon.

Jasmine or jaspreet I don’t know the exact name but she is always serving with happy and energetic smile. Very helpful girl. With her mr t’s perfect and properly full fill with delicious food. Because not just food also good staff is very important as jasmine or jaspreet. Love and respect Your regular customer

Absolutely the best kebab myself and me dad have had in a long time, we travel all over the UK and naturally we’ve tried a fair few pizza/kebab shops in our time. but this one takes the biscuit, the kebab quality and portion size was fantastic! and the price is well below what you’d expect to be paying for a takeaway nowadays. special mention to the chilli sauce, it is a must try, all the sauce is made in house and is extremely morish. mixing sweetness and minty flavours with a touch of spice was just beautiful 😁 and i have to say an extra thank you for the extra sauce we got sent home with after asking about it’s origin. it’s truly appreciated :)

Funny guys but Evan better. The food is really nice. Or what I like to say (banging that). Price is very fair well worth a try.
