The best restaurants in Featherstone Wakefield Yorkshire and The Humber

I am not a vaper but I love this place! The range of freshly ground and filtered coffee beans is absolutely amazing! And Les and Ann (owner and his Mum) are lovely people, as is their assistant, Liam. Les is self-taught about coffee beans and tobacco juicing. He makes some of his own juices for vaping and has an extensive range. We love to bob in for a coffee, complimentary Lotus biscuits and a good chinwag on their 3 person sofas. I wish they would put a little cafe seating where the coffee is ground besides the seating in the vaping lounge.

Amazing food and service! Really fresh and tasty, and really big portions. Our favourite Chinese takeaway in the area now! Definitely recommend

What a tragic stain this place is. Should be the best place in Pontefract but is the pits. Try £19 for four Cokes. Try hand pulled beers where everyone is vinegar. Green King please give this place back to people who care about what a real local looks like.

I am not happy either the food I received. I ordered chicken tikka balti - I get loads of oil in my dish and 5 pieces of chicken. Not going to order again. I am sorry.

Had an excellent breakfast, the type that fills you for the day. The staff are so friendly and attentive, it's part of the reason we keep going back. Had my father's 100th there back in June 2024. What a wonderful event. The catering, staff and room were perfect. My thanks go to Heather, Robert and all that helped make it a fantastic day. 😘

not cheap, but good seasonal rotation of stock including garden, gifts, pets, crafts and cookware. Café has good service and is ideal for a quick drink and a snack but do have a decent menu.

Not ordered for a long time since the previous owners sold up, until recently that is, the change to how this business makes the pizzas is a huge downvote from me, the stone baked pizzas with the old sauce and style was far superior to that of what we have now which is now only a replica of every other pizza place in Featherstone, bring back the old recipes and I’ll reconsider coming back as a customer and probably a lot more who feel the same. Change isn’t always good especially when there’s a distinct difference and why the place stands out from the rest is removed.
