The best restaurants in Richmond Central Richmondshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Had a breakfast here when staying in Reeth, there were plenty of different options. We were pleasantly surprised how big the cafe was when inside. Plenty of seating area both inside and outside and in a lovely spot. I can imagine it gets very busy in the summer months with bikers and walkers. Breakfast was very good and good portions. And you can't leave without any cake, so much choice. We brought some home with us. And they have a large selection of coffees and lattes which we sampled on a separate visit. Lovely place to visit and will definitely return when next in Reeth.

What a fantastic find. We visited on the Saturday evening for the dining experience and were not disappointed. The food (cheese and charcuterie) was phenomenal, the service was brilliant (knowledgeable and enthusiastic), the wine was delicious, the ambiance and setting matched. We would definitely recommend this and will be back next time we are in the area. All in all a fantastic night that enhanced a magnificent weekend. Thank you so much.

I got a double cheese and bacon burger, was very nice, and also had a side of chips and coleslaw, food arrived very quickly, would absolutely recommend!

I was enjoying the Swim up and down the lengths a great pool while peter was watching and when finished got chained and we both went in for coffee and cake we had a great time

Very kindly slotted the two of us in without a reservation. The six dishes (chicken, meat balls, salad, bread & oils, prawns & another) we chose were just the right amount. And try the lemon meringue to finish & you won't be disappointed. Again, the service was exemplary - there must be something about Richmond.

Highly recommend visiting for fish Friday or Sunday lunch! Food is amazing with large portion sizes. All home cooked and freshly made to order! Well worth a visit

A lovely, friendly place to stay. The staff were polite and extremely helpful.

Probably the worst ‘Indian’ I have ever had. Both meals (Chicken Buhna and King Prawn Karahai) were bland and layered in grease/oil. Rice was tasteless and oily, garlic naan bland the only half decent thing was the popadoms. If this had been eat in rather than takeaway we’d have sent it back. First time and last time.

Stayed for two nights and it was very good. Room, breakfast and evening meals all to a very good standard. Both of us agreed we'd book again. We also had the added beauty of a snow fall which was washed away shortly after by the rain.

What a truly lovely place to eat and meet in. The food was lovely, the cakes were amazing and most of all the staff were incredible, they went above and beyond with a smile and great kindness. We will certainly come again when we meet up with family in the area

A very wide range of cakes and all made on the premises. Vinci coffee is served at a very reasonable price. Friendly service and your drinks / cake order is brought to your table.

Fabulous meal, I ordered a pizza that wasn’t on the menu and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. It was delicious, thank you. Staff were lovely, helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back

Food was outstanding. Genuinely the best steak I have ever had. Service was a little rushed but this is expected for a Saturday night so it didn't bother me at all. Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend to others.
