I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and i have found the food to be very good. The staff are so friendly and the place is vibrant. There is always a good choice of food and I am never disappointed. I would recommend it to anyone. worth a visit

had fish and chips two mugs of tea plus bread and butter for £6.95 what value the fish was fresh not frozen the chips were propper potatoes cooked perfect any fish shop would be envious of the cooking of debbie and claire they even refunded our car parking back so made it even cheaper we will make a beline for this cafe in future they also make you feel welcome

The service was not good as my partners dish was sent to another table by mistake so had my dish taken back till we had them both together the Moussaka was salty and we then got the wrong bill by mistake which was £50 more good job we checked it first the manager did give us free dessert but it did not make up for the mistakes it use to be a really nice restaurant at one time very disappointing will not go back again

Shocking quería un buen curry con una rodaja así que pedí un tikka masala no verdura en el sitio ni una cebolla o pimienta y esa salsa era una cremosa como una korma así que especia al curry o cualquier cosa que parezca una lata de sopa de tomate con un poco de pollo echado en cuando suena el servicio al cliente fue impactante trató de decirme una korma es lo mismo que masala cremoso coco y especia menos que era de primer orden y será último de este lugar!

Copy of email sent to the restaurant prior to leaving this review - not even an acknowledgement! I feel the need to write and provide my comments on the way I was welcomed this evening. I have in the past been a big advocate of Masala Hut and eaten there many times. I have in the past had take away food and enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately the experience received this evening was appalling. I called ahead and asked for a table for one at 7:30. The person on the other end didn’t seem impressed nor filled me with confidence it was even possible, he didn’t take a name and the call abruptly ended. If the one customer wasn’t wanted he should have said. When attending I was shown to an unmade table in the corner. No problem - but the table wasn’t set and instead the server got knives and forks and threw them On the table, didn’t place them and seemed to find my presence inconvenient. The table was filthy with remnants of food encrusted on it. Not welcoming at all. I would have quite happily spent time and money this evening but the thought turned my stomach to a degree that I had to leave. I felt as though my presence was a huge disappointment. Standards have dropped. And it pains me to say it will be a long time before I am back. I was a table of one and appreciate this lessens the income but the waiters need to work on their customer service. I very rarely leave Google reviews on anything but I feel really disgusted and contemplating doing so - I will however resist until tomorrow to ensure it’s balanced. I write this whilst having dinner in La Cantina where I was welcomed and treated as a customer should.

We had a wonderful meal which was very tasty and fresh. The appetiser of pizza and dips was a welcome extra, while we decided on drinks. Great service for the staff

Good unpretentious Greek / Mediterranean food. Nice people, good food, cold beer. Some of the translations are a little dubious, so beware. I had "Chicken on the bonnet" - Smell chokers have a lot to answer for!

NAWAZ! We fancied an Indian, The one that exceeds, It’s name is Nawaz, At Crossgates in Leeds, You can’t buy a beer, But you can take your own, It’s cheaper that way, So there’s no need to moan, Poppadom for starters, With a selection of dips, All very tasty, So well worth the trip, Then came the main meal, We both had the bhuna, It’s the first time we’d been, I wish we’d came sooner, The staff are all helpful, The service is tops, So if you’re in Leeds, It’s well worth the stop! Alongside the bhuna, We ordered a nan, That filled us both up, We headed home in the van!

I used to use spice zone on Penda’s all the time but has gone down hill, when my food arrived the mushroom rice was so oily couldn’t eat, chips rock hard and the curry didn’t taste right, but as I’ve been ordering from there for ages just thought they had a bad night. Tried to order Saturday night the man told me to wait on the phone 1 minute and had me on hold for over 6 minutes! Isn’t the first time I’ve had a problem with ordering someone who works there was rude over the phone too, not using again

Realmente impresionado por la calidad de los platos Frente de la casa spot on La salsa Pollo Crème es Seriamente Exquisita / sublime al gusto... Y yo no lo pedí, mi socio lo hizo...
