My wife & myself booked afternoon teas as a means of a celebration. As usual Helen and all of her team treated us as guests rather than customers. Although it was very busy ,all staff found time to chat with us in a friendly smiling manner. Food was very good, chosen by staff to fit our tastes. We were made to feel very important by all.Once again, Thank you.

We got a great table in front of the kitchen. The chefs were calm coordinated and efficient. Plate after plate of food was delivered with care. The linguine with a curried mussel sauce was incredible and I could have had it as a main course instead of a starter. I also enjoyed the lamb special which has a huge perfectly cooked Yorkshire pudding. Well worth a visit.

Top quality food , the Sundays dinners are amazing and they also do very good burgers. Good choice of beers and great customer service. Dog friendly also.

What a hidden gem. We had been in Hull for the theatre and stumbled this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, and plentiful. We will be coming back next time in Hull. It does look a bit dated inside but is exceptionally clean, so don’t let the looks put you off

We came across this café on our way to the Museum Quarters. We wanted to sit and have a drink and cake, we were not disappointed! It is quite small inside, but a good few tables. The service was great and the cakes were delicious. Tea came in individual pots and was Yorkshire tea. The cakes were amazing and very delicious. They had lovely looking loaves of bread in the window, I imagine the sandwiches were good. Lovely place to call if you are around that area.

The deli has become my must go to first pit stop each time I go out cycling on my handcycle. The food is excellent, and I always enjoy the sausage rolls. However, that's not all I have eaten, tho. Everything I've tried has been super tasty. The staff are also fantastic always come out to serve as I can't ride in on my handcycle they are so friendly all lovely people. Totally recommend people trying this vegan deli. You don't need to be vegan. Just have an open mind to try something different. #crueltyfree #plantbased

Visited for my daughter's birthday. The place was almost empty but it didn't put us off. Great menu and the burgers are awesome, so tasty. Staff were friendly and there's a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

The first dog friendly cafe we have visited. To say it was hit with Pablo and Daphne is an under statement. Grain free doggy biscuits for this pair and cake and coffee for the humans. Great menu for both humans and dogs to pick from. Friendly service, great food and a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area

Good meeting place for friends. Visited for morning coffee and scones. The cakes etc are home made and absolutely delicious. Our scones had just come out of the oven! The atmosphere is delightful and friendly. Staff always have time to have a quick chat and to make recommendations. It’s a real hidden gem.
