It was excellent for lunch time and very good staff def recommend to people who haven"t try this place

I met a friend here for lunch recently and had Mediterranean vegetable and Feta panini with sweet potato fries. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely place to eat and far from being a greasy cafe.

What can I say, the food is brilliant and there's always a few tasty specials to try, the staff are very welcoming and are always happy to make alterations to the menu if you fancy something a little different, it's what a cafe is meant to be 10/10...

Stumbled across this little gem while out looking for lunch ? Went for the giant burrito and wedges absolutely fantastic just like the one I had down south beach last month but at 1/4 of the price unreal ! Been back on 4 occasions full breakfast is freshly cooked with choice of how you like your eggs just the way I like it ? Swedish meatballs are fantastic also well worth the visit and the staff are super friendly with a 5 scores on the doors.

I go to Annikas every day that I am at work. The service is perfect, you are always greeted with smiles and a happy atmosphere. They are so incredibly helpful and truly understand customer service - as well as how to have a good laugh and rapor with the customers. I love finding out what their daily special is, I always have a look on facebook the night before so I know what to look forward to! Today's special was a chicken burrito which was DELICIOUS!!! The cafe itself is new, clean and inviting - not what you would expect to find on a industrial part of town. This is by no means a greasy caf - top quality, hand made catering made with real love and imagination. Without a doubt my favourite cafe for miles. eat here or order annikas event catering - you will not be disappointed.

Stopped for a break whilst dong a driving course. Top place, clean, tidy, new, with happy and friendly staff. Had a panini with a free cuppa! A breath of fresh air from your usual greasy spoon. Will definitely stop by again!

Annika of Annika's Kitchen has created a wonderful destination cafe, serving amazing daily specials, breakfasts and lunches. The variety of food is outstanding and it's well worth keeping an eye on what specials are coming up as they are what really sets this place apart from its rivals. Annika also provides external catering and has catered for our birthday parties on many occasions, she has a huge range of fabulous options at very reasonable prices and we would highly recommend her services. All in all this girl is going places!

I called in here for breakfast whilst working in the area, the place is large, clean, has some comfy chairs and decent heaters!! The menu is large with lots on offer including your typical cafe breakfasts, rolls, teas, coffees etc as well as some more complex dishes you wouldn't necessarily associate with a cafe of this type. The staff are friendly and pleased to help, all in all based on this experience I would definitely recommend it for food and drink. The prices are not bad either!

Stumbled across this little gem, just had a sandwich & chips, but was excellent value for money, would probably have had something a little more adventurous, if i'd have been more prepared, for what was on offer. Looking forward to returning again.

Excellent food ive taken family and work collegues for breakfasts and lunches and all have thoroughly enjoyed the food and the lovely staff ... well worth a visit☺

Annika's kitchen is a hidden gem. The food is out of this world! True home cooked food at its best. Will defiantly be returning again great service, amazing friendly staff and low prices. Would defiantly recommend Annika's kitchen to everybody to try. 😊

Every time I visit Annika's kitchen I'm never disappointed, the food is always lovely and too a high standard! The staff are very friendly and helpful, couldn't fault a thing!

Annika's Kitchen may be a little off the beaten track when it comes to restaurants and cafes but is well worth the visit. All the items on the menu are made fresh to order and always taste incredible. Specials change daily (My personal favourite being the authentic Swedish meatballs!) and some are announced on the Kitchen's facebook page. Prices never go far above £5, with the most expensive item priced at £5.50 and the quality is equivalent to that of a restaurant meal. The service is lovely, always greeting you with a smile and a conversation while you wait and if you wish to change things around on the menu they are more than accommodating to anyone's requirements (I fancied having hash browns instead of chips with one of the lunch specials, just because they looked good!) In this area we have had a lot of cafes come and go but none that offered the quality or the atmosphere quite like Annika's. If you just happen to be passing, make a visit, because you won't regret it!

I had the pochetta panini with chips and salad. The porchetta was fantastic. The salad nice and fresh. Good food and friendly service. I would reccomend for a spot of lunch. Also have daily changing specials that sound great.

I am a massive food lover and there is no exaggeration when I say that Annika cooks the best food I have ever tasted in my life... everything is cooked to order and the staff are very polite and a great laugh.. I would recommend the pills cheese steak sandwich with sweet potatoe fries!! I urge anyone to try Annikas Kitchen out you will not be dissapointed!

I had the homemade French onion soup when I visited the café, firstly I was very surprised with the prices, it was extremely cheap and the portions where very generous, secondly was the quality of the food, restaurant food at café prices. I have visited the café numerous times since and I am never disappointed it's always fresh and totally delicious, and the service has always been really great, the girls are always smiling and really friendly. I would recommend annikas to anyone.

Called in for a Philly steak sandwich and sweet potato fries. Delicious. Really friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again 👍

As this place was relatively new I thought I'd give it a try when passing one morning. As I entered I was pleasantly surprised by the light and airy decor and the place was so clean, well lit and did not smell of grease.

Have visited 3 times for lunch and the specials have have superb quality. Steak pie with the trimmings,full of flavoursome steak with a delicate crust. Definitely the best pie I've tasted. Gourmet chilli hotdogs with sweet potato fries, a delight. Japanese style mixed spicy noodles. Most delicious. Portions are very generous. Possibly the best secret in Hull and hopefully not for much longer. Annikas is no mere cafe!
