The first dog friendly cafe we have visited. To say it was hit with Pablo and Daphne is an under statement. Grain free doggy biscuits for this pair and cake and coffee for the humans. Great menu for both humans and dogs to pick from. Friendly service, great food and a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area

We collected a birthday afternoon tea as a surprise gift. Everything was delicious ♥ I'd happily order again, and will be visiting with my canine friend, very soon

Just had lunch delivered gluten free for birthday treat, along with balloons, by lovely lady wishing me Happy Birthday, looks delicious and tastes fantastic. Highly recommend.

My daughter collected an afternoon tea for my birthday. The quality & quantity of Food was superb, everything was fresh & tasty. They also included 2 birthday balloons & a birthday card. Thankyou so much

We went to the Blue Whippet today with my greyhound Gracie. We received a lovely warm and friendly welcome and to my surprise Gracie received her own plate of dog goodies. The sandwiches and cakes were lovely and exceptional good value for money. I would not hesitate to return to this wonderful place.

Due to the lock down we could not eat in, so we took advantage of the delivery offer. A lovely afternoon tea brought to our front door, 2m distance was kept! Lovely fresh sandwiches and cake!

This brilliant place is so welcoming to customers and their dogs. Had an excellent afternoon tea today and enjoyed all the lovely surprise birthday touches. Lovely food and dog treats. Cake was an added treat. Highly recommended x

fantastic hidden gem, what a friendly atmosphere, we've booked to attend a puppy party with the full family and cant wait. the staff are so attentive and thd food is delicious and they dont skimp on the portions. definitely on our radar now thoroughly enjoyable and we are telling everyone we know with dogs about this place

This was bought for me as a birthday gift and i cant tell you how delighted I was to be able to go somewhere with my dog. Jane, the owner made us feel so welcome and the high tea we received was lovely and very plentiful with endless cups of coffee. We were amazed too that Trainer, my dog, also received a "high tea" served on his own floor mat and his name written on his plate!!. Within the cafe the several inexpensive craft items to purchase too. Thank you Jane for an afternoon with a difference. Have recommended you to several friends.

Friendly & welcoming cafe - we loved it! Great place to visit with your dog, we were all made to feel so welcome. Lovely coffee, milkshakes and toasties & our dog enjoyed her afternoon treat too! We hope to make a return visit soon.

We've been here several times for afternoon tea but this was a very special Christmas afternoon tea. Lovely turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches made with Jackson bloomer were served with crisps, homemade sausage roll, homemade mince pies, Lebkuchen, red velvet cake and the obligatory scones with clotted cream and jam. Endless tea and treats for the dog who also got an afternoon twas with enough treats to last a week. The place has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and the staff can't do enough for you. We will be back again and again

Had a second visit to this lovely friendly cafe today. Simply can't fault it, great for us and great for our dog.

Went to the Blue Whippet Cafe for my birthday with my boyfriend and was not disappointed. The food was really nice and the service second to none.

We visited today for the afternoon tea, what a lovley treat , i got lots of cuddles with the gorgeous puppy storm , my fried had 2 big pits of tea i had a latte with the option for a refill, we choose our own fillings for our sandwhiches, while we waited i got to spend some time with the puppy which was a win win for me, our food arrived we choose the tuna mayo and chicken and cranberry sandwhiches, these were gorgeous lovely soft fresh bread and loads of filling, big slices of gorgeous carrot cake,chocolate squares and lovely giant homemade cherry scones with jam and clotted cream, this was all served on stunning vintage pottery.....owner was lovely and chatty and the rest of the customers were all really friendly..will i be back ..most definately ..would i recommend..without a doubt..you can even take your dog who also gets its very own afternoon tea....what a delightful place...

Visited this afternoon for a Dog Friendly afternoon tea which our Daughter had bought for us from Groupon several months ago.I don't think she realised it was about 26 miles from us and we don't usually go into Hull (we're much nearer York) but we didn't want to be ungrateful so booked by phone, which was very easy.I'm glad we made the effort, as we've had a really nice time.Our dogs were absolutely spoiled rotten, both with their doggie afternoon tea and loads of fuss and attention. Lots of nice little touches, like their names on their plates!Our food was really good too. Extra deep filling on the freshly made sandwiches, loads to tea/coffee and too many cakes /scones. Took some away with us.Would highly recommend for anyone and if you have dogs, or just like them, that's a bonus.Just need an excuse to be back this way again and we'll definitely return.

What a gem of a find. Forget all the 4 and 5 star hotels offering afternoon tea, we have tried them all.This is by far and away the best. Although only small everything is freshly prepared for you with a great choice and then served on the most beautiful China crockery On top of that the staff, Yasmine and Callum looked after us superbly Do yourself a favour, forget all the hotels and other big names etc go and visit the Blue Whippet Cafe you will not be disappointed

We came with a Groupon - food is lovely and filling and the coffee is amazing! The lady who runs it is friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Would 100% recommend! We will be coming back!!

We went to this little cafe after a walk out with dog. I had been to dog friendly placed the purely accept dogs before but here Reese was made very welcome. He was given a bed, lots of cuddles and his own afternoon tea. We had the human afternoon tea which was a choice of sandwiches, cakes and scone with cream and jam, all very nice. The cafe was very clean, everyone was made very welcome by the friendly owner, staff and customers. If you are looking for a friendly place to relax with good fresh food, if you have a dog or not this would be a good choice.

Visited here to meet a friend for a coffee. Lovely relaxed cafe & reasonably priced. Will be returning.

This place is not just dog friendly, it is dog welcoming ! Pooches have their own menu ! Homely cafe that is very resoanably priced forbqualoty ingredients-. Many veggie and nand vegan options. Friendly owner and grest service.

We purchased a Groupon for this cafe , was pleasantly surprised of how much choice was on the menu .The cafe is a dog friendly place , although we are not dog owners , the place was clean and no way smelt of dogs, staff were friendly , our order was wrong when it arrived, but was soon rectified, we will be visiting again , when over in that side of town .

Was visiting area and needed somewhere for breakfast where we could have our 2 retrievers with us. This was ideal . Nice homely cafe, clearly with dogs in mind. Great doggy menu. Human menu was what we needed. Lovely friendly owner. All in all a good combination for an establishment .

Fantastic little place to eat fresh food and lovely place to go with your dog and have a friendly chat the lady who owns it is lovely ,home made doggy treats too would highly recommend

I had been meaning to pop in to this dog friendly cafe for some time. Today we took the dog for a walk in Picky Park and then went for afternoon tea. We found a lovely, warm, clean and friendly little gem, where humans and pups alike were pampered. Betty had a ball, as did we. She was met with open arms and cuddles. The menu was varied, with plenty of nice healthy options as well as hearty solid stuff. The drinks menu was equally perfect. We found some nice little gift items for sale, and special events can be catered too... dog friendly parties and evening food gatherings for all - including singles. How lovely for someone who might not feel confident going out alone... furry creatures can be great for those of us who are not particularly confident in human company! We will be back with little Betty for sure.
