Popped in for a coffee and little did I realise there is a shop at the back ! Selling all sorts of wonderful things. New, collectable, vinyl ( records) mid century, collectable ceramics & soft furnishings.
Well worth a visit.
Not been before. On Saturday thought we'd try a burger 🍔. Omg was absolutely gorgeous. Hubby said it was best burger he'd ever had!!. Needless to say we will be back. 😋. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. Thanks for a lovely meal. 😃.
Fantastic service and the food is amazing , all at good prices .
Staff are polite and very friendly premises are extremely clean.
And the owner Ab is an absolute star.
Harvey’s Brasserie the Sunday lunch is excellent, hot food served at speed from a well organised group of people. From the chef’s ,restaurant staff and kitchen support team.
No place inBridlington like it,
Cheers Harvey’s what an experience.
Never been here before as it is very near where I live and hard to justify the expense when I could eat/drink at home. However, with my daughter working from home, we decided to walk down and get some lunch just for a change of scene in her lunch break.
We waited in the cafe whilst it was made. Very nice atmosphere. Loved the crafty things on the walls that you could buy.
Ordered some food to take out. However, after leaving, we discovered one of the orders was wrong. This didn't present a big issue was it was a melt rather than a baguette and although it wasn't my first choice, it was nice.
The other items we had bought were correct and tasty.
I would go again, although perhaps for coffee and cakes rather than the mains.
40 Boothferry Road, Goole DN14 5DA England, England
It is the best food in Goole, no precooked stuff, full breakfast is as much as you can eat.
They also do Dinners, sandwiches and all at great prices, service is excellent and staff are always cheerful.
We have been in most of the eating houses in Goole but this one shines above all the others.
! No será mi última visita aquí.
My partner and I have visted gatehouse many times since opening, it is fair to say it is one of our favourite places to eat now. We where slightly sceptical when it fisrt opened due to the previous restaurant that occupied the building, the new owners havent done to much to the decor so still feels rather empty but still cosy and inviting. On out last visit my wife had the fish and chips as always and i tried the house steak for the first time, i have to say it was perfectly cooked and was very tender and flavoursom, the chips where to die for too (but i already knew that as we both normally have the fish and chips). The food and drinks are reasonably priced especially for the area and compared to what other restaurants locally charge. My only slightly negative is there is no draught beer but still a good choice of bottles. Overall a very good place to dine out for any occasion.
I have lived in the village for 20+ years and have always meant to visit this tea room. I did this March and had a breakfast which was delicious and very good value. The setting is small but well presented with China cups not mugs and the ladies very helpful, will go back
Only open Thursday evening and Friday lunch, best to book in advance. We had two courses, cauliflower soup and fish cake starters and roast pork and rainbow trout mains. Cost was exceptional value at £21. Was delicious and professionally served by the students. Would highly recommend.
