Popped in for a coffee and little did I realise there is a shop at the back ! Selling all sorts of wonderful things. New, collectable, vinyl ( records) mid century, collectable ceramics & soft furnishings. Well worth a visit.

Lovely cafe I have been in on loads of times. The food is freshly made and cakes , panni are gorgeous. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Local to me so I visit often. The bacon sandwiches are lovely too a asset to the town 😊

Popped into the Cheeky Squirrel on a walk with my 9 month old baby this morning. I have been in a few times with my husband and always had delicious food and pleasant experiences. I sat next to the ordering station and had a lovely chat with the men who were serving the food and drinks. I was made to feel very welcome, as was my son - Who was also having a chat with them! I had a delicious iced latte, which I get every time I come. Lovely little spot.

We (family) dropped into this new, friendly and interesting venue out of curiosity. Under the previous ownership, our Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club met here, so naturally I wanted to see what's changed! Well, EVERYTHING is the answer. A really delightful cafe serving great scones and cake is recommended before or after you've browsed the interesting antiques and curious in the rest of the shop. The people here are very friendly and since our first visit, we've been back several times. Another veteran group I run will hopefully be meeting here each month soon so keep checking back for more reviews.

Excellent cafe in Driffield. Great choice of hot and cold beverages together with a lovely choice of light bites which are of a high quality and really delicious, alternative milks also at no extra cost. Really nice ambiance and tasteful decor and a friendly welcome from the owners. Would thoroughly recommend and visit again.

We knew about the Bike Cave and were heading for it on a shortish bike ride from Burton Agnes to Driffield. We were horrified to see the Bike Cave was no more (we'd been there several times) but mollified to see it's been succeeded by the Cheeky Squirrel in the front half of the same premises - the back is now really an interior design shop. The skies opened while we were there so we had coffees and scones to start with, and then when the rain got really heavy we just extended that into lunch - to the amusement of the really friendly and helpful couple running the place. Delicious scones (savoury as well as sweet, and really light), good quality cappuccinos, and tasty and generously filled sandwiches with salad garnishes and crisps. It's a popular little place though with not a lot of tables, so choose your moment to come here or accept you may have to wait a little while for your order. It'll definitely be worth waiting for though, in our experience. Strongly recommended - and RIP the Bike Cave.

Bit dingy lighting, given that the cafe is deep back to front. The teacake was delicious but only scantily buttered and not around the edges, so ask for extra butter. A serviette would have been nice. Taylor decaf tea was extra weak, ask for an extra tea bag to get a bit of taste

I was not looking forward to my lockdown birthday so you can imagine how excited I was to receive an Afternoon Tea from my daughter. The platter was brought to my door by Mrs M herself. It was beautifully presented and even had a Happy Birthday sticker on it. The food was delicious, I can honestly say that every mouthful was sublime. Highly recommended! It really made me feel special.
