We had travelled from Rochdale and Leeds yesterday to bring our Mum who lives in Bridlington to your restaurant for Mothers Day. This was a first visit for all of us and we can’t believe we haven’t visited before. The whole experience was first class with excellent service and beautiful food.

Beautiful food and unbelievable service. Would highly recommend. We had the prawn and scallop starter that was so yummy. The service was so welcoming

Booked a meal last Friday for my sisters birthday. Being new to the area we booked through Google reviews. Not disappointed at all excellent service excellent food. A good crowd also eating . Will certainly be back.

The food is absolutely fabulous at a reasonable price and obviously cooked with great care and beautifully presented. Service was excellent nothing was too much trouble for our host, a wide selection of drinks.

I had a seafood platter which was to die for. So much variety on it including crabs, lobsters, prawns, mussels and more! It was a nice touch that they included sauces and fresh lemon too. There was more than enough for 2 people and it was good value for money. I would definitely order it again.

We had the seafood platter delivered yesterday, what can i say there was lobster, prawns 2 crabs, mussels, prawns, salad bread sauces & cakes. It was very fresh and it was absolutely beautiful, i will definitely be ordering again, and next time im in Bridlington we will be calling in.

Had the seafood platter today and it was lovely. So fresh and tasty. Will be getting another one next time around. The dressed crab was the best I’ve ever had 😃

Had a wonderful meal at Raffles today. Having read all the lovely reviews, I booked a table for fathers day, When I booked I explained that one of the party was vegetarian. When we arrived we were warmly met by a lovely lady and the food did not disappoint, it was beautiful. For starters 3 of us had soup which arrived with lovely warm rolls and big bowls of soup. The vegetarian option was a wellington with creamy mushroom sauce which was lovely, the rest of the party had Sunday lunch with a mixture of meats, the meat and vegetables were plentiful, with carrots, roast potatoes, cabbage, mashed potato and sprouts, there was more than enough for us all. We managed to squeeze a pudding in of Lime Pie and Crème Brule Cheesecake with coffee and left feeling absolutely stuffed. We will absolutely return to this lovely place.

We have just experienced an amazing seafood platter delivered. WOWs... the dressed crab was simply sublime and the cakes delicious... what great value for money too... would highly recommend

Excellent fresh seafood delivered to the door for Mothers Day. More than ample for two people. Fresh and tasty and great value for money. Went down well with a chilled white wine. In addition a selection of cakes and cream scone for dessert. Perfect treat. Highly recommended.

A great little place in Bridlington old town. Kim the hostess with the mostess!!. Nothing was too much trouble including piping out for some extra crackers for my wife. The four of us really enjoyed our food and the evening in Raffles the house rose and new Zealand savignon were excellent,as was the food. The fish mains were lovely. Cheese wasn't on the dessert menu, but Kim was amazing and provided a lovely cheeseboard and locally sourced crackers . We even had a blast from the past floater coffee! Amazing food and amazing value for money!!!!! We will definitely return

Had a meal here for a relative's birthday. Beautifully cooked and presented food, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Very friendly staff. Cosy restaurant on a very wet and windy night! Lovely location in the quaint 'old town' area of Bridlington. Highly recommended!

My husband and I came for a meal at Raffles to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was top notch from start to finish. The lady serving us who runs the restaurant was welcoming, warm, professional and friendly. The food was out of this world. Every care had been taken to provide quality, flavour and beautiful presentation. The chef clearly knows what he’s doing as he mixes flavours that only a top professional chef would know how to do. I had the monkfish, stuffed with tasty Mediterranean vegetables, and drizzled with the tastiest sauce I’ve ever had. My husband had pork fillet in a beautiful mushroom and blue cheese sauce. Nice choice of drinks with a good wine selection and a coffee flavoured baileys for dessert! Could not fault any aspect of our time spent at Raffles. Thank you!

Unable to visit our favourite restaurant in Bridlington due to visits to our holiday home being off limits we were really pleased when lockdown was relaxed and we were able to go this week. Although still closed to dine in Raffles are offering takeaways or delivery of their delicious food while maintaining the high standards we have come to expect. Our 2 course meal was delivered free of charge to our door and lived up to our expectations. We are visiting again next week and have already ordered our next treat - a Continental Meats Afternoon Tea with a chilled bottle of wine! Can’t wait and this will be a weekly event until lockdown ends. Then we can dine in again Chez Kim & Steve!

We have just had our evening meal delivered from raffles. Just as good as eating in the restaurant. Very tasty food and great value for money. We shall be ordering again

We had a 3 course Sunday dinner which was cooked to perfection. I would have liked vegetables with a touch more flair, but they were okay. None of the deserts appealed to me but I tried a chocolate based confection and it was too rich to eat much of. The roullade looked a better choice. Great service. I would recommend Raffles if you want a traditional Sunday roast.

Choosing Raffles was the best decision we have made all week. We booked to avoid disappointment and this proved to be a wise move, as the restaurant is fairly small and was busy. It does make for a more intimate atmosphere. I opted for prawn and smoked salmon parcels to start with, whilst my wife went for the meatballs in tomato sauce with tagliatelle. Before these, we were brought a selection of breads with butter and fresh olives. For mains, I had the medallions of lamb and my wife had the medallions of pork. Both were served with a nice selection of vegetables and potatoes. The food was excellent and we washed it down with a nice bottle of white Rioja. Apart from the superb food, our evening was enhanced by the friendly, efficient and wonderfully personal service provided by mein host. We did have deserts but shouldn't have as we were too stuffed to appreciate them. We did however, appreciate the excellent coffee and the bill was a very reasonable £76. The quality here, is streets apart from anywhere else we have been to in Brid and you can see my reviews for all the others.

Just back to the caravan after a meal at Raffles, having choose of the early bird menu. I had king prawns in tomato sauce followed by chicken stroganoff and my wife had pate follows by lamb steaks both were accompanied by plenty of veg. The quality and the value for money are outstanding and can't recommend highly enough, next time we will be visiting Brid we definitely pay another vist.....

We went for a meal on Tuesday night and had a exceptional meal the hostess couldn't do enough for you there was a few tables dining one of which was very unpleasant to all the staff but the waitress kept it together and made you feel at ease I had pasta for starter and peppered steak for main my partner had goats cheese to start and salmon for main all food was first class and can't wait to revisit thank you again

Great night would highly recommend Raffles - starters from early bird menu were amazing taste and value - sardines brilliant, pasta so tasty. Chicken stroganoff amazing and steak cooked perfectly. The vegetables are always really good and and an excellent accompaniment to the main course. Very generous servings. Kim is so friendly and looks after her customers to a high standard. I would highly recommend Raffles for the food, service and ambience.

The food and service were both excellent when we booked for a family meal. Nice choice of dishes and although there is no children’s menu, the staff were happy to alter dishes for our youngest diner.

My wife and I chose Raffles due to the reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. We were greeted by the hostess who gave us a choice of two tables; one dear the door or one further back. We sat further back. We ate off the a la carte menu and after a tasty and filling minestrone had lamb and a rib eye. Both were cooked to perfection accompanied by duchess and new potatoes and a selection of vegetables. We had a very pleasant evening and then walked up and down High Street that has many interesting buildings with blue plaques in the window describing their history. Would definitely return.

Found this restaurant tucked away in the old part of town. Well worth the effort to find as the food and service were great. Nice establishment run by a couple for the last 15 years. Will return.

Husband took me for our 9th wedding anniversary, as we had our wedding reception there. Wasn’t disappointed had a lovely meal, on regret we didn’t have room for a sweet. All food is freshly cooked. Home made.

Hidden away in Bridlington Old Town, we nearly missed it, it is on the corner of two streets with the door on the corner angle and at the moment there is scaffolding up on the building next door which hid the name of the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the lady who was working front of house (husband and wife team - husband does the cooking, wife the front of house and waiting. We were brought olives and delicious breads to enjoy while our starters were being prepared. I had a delicious prawn risotto, while my husband had the pate, He had a chicken dish main while I had the sea bass. As I have an allergy to chilli which was in the butter that came with the sea bass, they made a garlic butter for me. A good dish of vegetables with dauphinois potatoes accompanied the mains Nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately we were so full we were unable to sample what sounded like a variety of delicious sweets, but had coffee and were offered refills. We tried to book for the next evening, but they were fully booked.

We dropped in yesterday evening and we're glad that we did because it is obviously a very popular restaurant with advanced bookings. We were lucky to get a table.

We went today for Sunday lunch. There were six of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the three course set menu. The food was hot, fresh, plentiful and delicious. The service was exemplary, too. Superb value for money. Our one regret? We forgot to leave a tip!! (Very sorry!)

Raffles is a lovely restaurant tucked away in the old town of Bridlington.

We chose from the Early Bird Menu, great choice. We were served with a plate of speciality breads with an oil and vinegar to have while we waited for our Starters. The Antipasti was scrumptious and good portions and the chef’s pate was excellent. Three of us had the Pork Stroganoff, this was so tasty! The Mixed Fish Skewers was served on a bed of risotto – delicious! All were served with fresh vegetables, unfortunately we couldn’t eat them all and they would have been thrown away so I asked if I could have a doggy bag for the veggies. Not a problem at all! We will definitely be going again.

Dined here with family on Saturday, I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and have always found the food to be consistently excellent. Good menu choice, and a cosy atmosphere. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Good value for money.

Excellent service from the minute we walked in greeted warmly. Decided to have the early bird menu. Plenty of choice two courses for £14.95. Not at all rushed through the meal. No waiting between courses just the right amount of time. The meals were cooked fresh. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Would recommend booking.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening - the food was lovely and the service was friendly and efficient. In addition, they catered for my dietary requirements, as I no longer eat carbohydrates. They did this without any fuss or complaint and the result was delicious. We will definitely return.

We recently visited Raffles on the quaint High Street at Bridlington ( where the latest Dad’s Army was filmed) for our friend’s birthday and it was made extra special by the excellent meal & service that we had.

The owners couldn't do enough for us. The food was spot on and could accommodate everyones taste. Will definitely revisit.

We booked late for Sunday lunch and couldn’t get in until 1430. Friendly service and excellent main course that had not been spoiled by hanging around too long. Tasted like home made. We’ll come back for sure.

My wife, myself and two friends have just had another excellent sea food themed meal.

Restaurant is small & family run, approx 20 covers, but doesnt feel crowded. A very personal service given, super friendly too. The food was very tasty, cooked fresh & well presented. Good value for money. The dessert I chose was not too good, coffee & walnut gateaux...dry, no cream, more of a cake than gateaux but did not detract form the quality of the starter or main course. Wort5h booking in the busier months, we were lucky that there was a free table. Deffinately worth a visit.

We booked for Saturday evening. Choose the set menu. My cod and chorizo fish cake was good, but the poached place lacked on taste. No bottled sparkling water.

This is certainly a hidden gem,a very intimate atmosphere,small and very beautiful resturant.On our arrival a lovely lady welcomed us,immediatly you knew a perfect evening was to be had.The food that came out of the chefs kitchen was outstanding and cooked to perfection.We cant wait to eat at this wonderful resturant again when we are next in the area.thank you to very dedicated staff that ensured we had a perfect meal.

this is our favourite restaurant in Bridlington. Tucked away in the old town is this splendid family run establishment. The food is excellent cooked by Steve and you always get a warm welcome from Kim who is a star.Fantastic value for money and the food is top top quality.Booking is essential and the early bird menu is highly recommended with plenty of choice I had rack of lamb that was just melt in the mouth so succulent and my husband had sirloin steak which was equally as nice. we would highly recommend this little gem cant wait for our next visit.

We have been going to raffles for quite a fews years now and I have never had a bad experience! Owners are friendly and very welcoming. I have to say the food is reasonably priced and the courses are delicious. I try a different meal each time and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!

Went here on Saturday 5th May, What a gorgeous little place, fab food, on a diet so very accomodating food is wonderful, would travel over to Bridlington just to go there again from Hull.

Tucked in the Old Town this unprepossessing restaurant is worth a visit. The food and wine were of a good quality. Such delicious food, will definitely be returning.

Arranged for Sunday lunch with friends on my birthday, woke to snow but undeterred we travelled over. For us it’s simply the best Sunday lunch, choice of 3meats with ample veg, choice of 5 desserts, tea or coffee, all for £11.50. You simply can’t beat it for value and quality.

Booked yesterday for the Christmas eve lunch menu. It was a lovely meal, we all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Always friendly and welcoming. A place we always go back to.

Went there recently upon the recommendation of my brother. The pub is nice and the food is excellent......could only manage one course!

We love it here. So friendly, fairly priced, with absolutely outstanding food. Our favourite restaurant by a mile on this coast. Amazing.

Quite a small place but a good atmosphere - usually open in the evening but open a couple of days for lunch and we were lucky to find them open and with a few seats available - a lot of the choices set lunch had sold out but still a choice of 3 dishes left - the belly pork was really tasty and came with mash and roast potatoes and 3 seasonal vegetables and a gravy boat full of delicious gravy - the other customers were obviously all regulars and the lady serving knew all their likes and dislikes - a short but good wine list and the total bill including a Merlot and a lager was less than twenty pounds - try to get a window table as that would give you a view of the historic Old Town which was where the Dads Army film was set and still traces around if you have a walk around

Superb meal out in a lovely restuarant within the heart of the old town of Bridlington. Excellent food with plenty of choices and plenty on the plate when it arrived. Very well presented and exellent service from very warm and friendly staff. Something for everyone.

We have visited RAFFLES over a long number of years now and I can honestly say that the high standard has never faltered.The ambience is warm and inviting anf the food is always,without exception expertly cooked.Well done KIM & CO - you really a true "hidden gem"

Food always excellent at this beautiful little restaurant. Usually go with a party of ladies but have been as a couple and just love it.

We used to come here a lot, and I cannot understand why we havent been for quite a long time, maybe if you keep going to the same place time and time again you get a bit fed up ?? I don't know...however... this evening we made a welcome return and had an absolutely lovely meal. Everything was spot on. The plaice in sauce, beautiful ! Kim was as friendly as ever, we will not leave it so long next time, be back soon.

How lucky was I to get a table for this weekend. The lady who does front of house was lovely, she so obviously likes people. The meal was 5*. Cannot pick any one thing that was outstanding, it was quality and beautifully cooked from starter to dessert. We had seafood rissotto, prawn cocktail, fillet steak with pate', steak and chicken with yorkshire cheese, millionaires cheesecake, carrot cake, coffees and wine. Thank you we hope to be back x

Visited this restaurant on the 21st July 2017 the greeting was lovely. We hadn't booked but were soon seated and from this point everything was perfect, whilst waiting for our starter we were served with speciality breads, butter and olives. The starters were absolutely beautiful and really well presented(Chicken Liver Pate and Linda had Salmon and Prawns)The main courses of Fillet Steak and Lamb were of the finest quality. The Fillet Steak melted in your mouth as did the Lamb. All in all a perfect eating experience, and would recommend this establishment to everybody.

We went to Raffles last night for the "early birds" offer, had two courses of really well presented and tasty food along with the usual warm greeting and friendly service.You have to book in advance as this is a really popular restaurant with locals.We have been many times over the years and it is always good.

We have just returned from another fabulous meal at this wonderful little gem in Old Town. The food is amazing, freshly cooked, plentiful and beautifully presented. The lovely owners are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We had a bottle of wine, which was lovely and not too expensive. Sadly we didn't have room for a pudding, but they looked fantastic!. We had our first meal here 5 years ago and the standard is still just as high! Many thanks

My husband was looking for somewhere for us to eat this week and decide on Raffles. Thank goodness he did because what a fantastic meal we had. He had starter and main and I had main and dessert. It was amazing. Definitely the best dining experience we have had in along time. Can't wait to go back.

Visited Raffles on a Friday evening for the early bird menu 2 courses £14.95. From walking through the door to leaving such friendly attentive service and prosecco by the glass. Starters mussels for my partner and goats cheese for myself then chicken in parma ham and sirloin steak respectively. I had to try a desert which was home made treacle tart with honeycomb and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for a lovely meal
