This lady does private events like weddings. Kids parties and staff lunches. She comes in a tiny Italian truck called a paiggio ape and the wood fired pizza cooks in 90 seconds and tastes fantastic. Our guests loved it and we had to order more. She offers vegan and gluten free and pretty much does anything you ask for. I would recommend Pizza Mamma Hull to anyone having a party or something similar.

Come here a lot as I pass with the dogs on my walks.

I’ve been several times with my walking group and it’s one of my favourite places to stop! Always welcoming and the food is fresh and delicious. I’m told the scones are the best around (and we visit a lot of tearooms!) They are always very accommodating when I message to book for walkers, reserved for 10 persons the other day! Most recently I had the tuna melt panini and it’s amazing. I’d recommend booking if you want to be sure of a table at this popular tea room.

This place is fantastic and provides an exceptional value lunch! The staff are very friendly and the food is incredible. Their thali lunch is only £16 and you get so much for that! The venue is beautiful, so classy. We have been several times and lunch is fairly quiet with evenings more busy. If you love fine dining albeit with good portions and you like Indian food you will love this restaurant.

Popped into the tea room for a light lunch. We asked for the club sandwich in wholemeal but with only two slices of bread instead of the three. It was served with a nice crisp side salad. We had a pot of tea for two and my Daughter had a delicious slice of lemon cake. The lady serving us was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely return.

9 of us went for a family meal as 3 of us had birthdays. We were sat by 7.30. Starters didn’t arrive until 8.20 and then one starter we had to ask for as it wasn’t brought out.The mains then came out at 9.10. There was no communication from the staff regarding the wait on food, and we weren’t approached and asked if we wanted more drinks during the waits. There was probably 50% of the restaurant seats taken, and no reason for the delay was communicated. The food was fine, just a disappointing service.

Very poor, service was terrible tea was ok but table cloths were stained .good was ok untill they ran out of plates and sweet bowls. The room was cold when we first went in. Morning breakfast was ok until asked for a fried egg and my colleague asked for a CT poached egg and we were both refused. Would never stay here again.

We haven't been to Sandpiper for over a year when the food menu was 2 for 1, but this visit was so much better for the food. All the staff from bar to waiting staff and manager were very friendly from the moment we arrived. Thank you.

Bang average sadly. 45min wait for food from order (with no warning), and when it arrived both meals were just ok Afraid won't be back.

Since Adam and his crew have taken over this place it has come on leaps and bounds. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Our go to is the Guinness which is always spot on and the Merlot. And of course there are the loaded fries or nachos as a bar snack. Craig is always friendly and smiles

Really tasty food, but you need to be very hungry! Had the oven-baked meatballs for a starter which were lovely but, to be honest, were more than enough for a main! The Penne Inferno Marinara was another delight, cooked to perfection but again, rather too much of it and have to leave some (which I really don't like doing). Shame Peroni not available on draught anymore, but great to see Liqueurs like Drambuie available. The waiter was rather quiet at first, but he livened up and got more chatty as the evening ensured. So, overall, please keep up the quality but reduce the portion size would be our advice.
