Great food and service. We like the soup what's kindly offered on arrival...our oldest son is very fussy when is comes to food and he loves this soup I think it says it all. Very friendly and polite people work there. Keep the good work guys 👌

We travel to attend gigs at The Parish about four times a year. We book hotel accommodation in the city and eat out in local restaurants. The Parish is an absolutely amazing asset to Huddersfield! We visit lots of different live music venues around the country and can say with all honesty, that The Parish is our favourite. The staff team are professional and create the perfect night out to promote live music …please help this amazing venue and team of dedicated staff to survive!

I was very much looking to a saturday evening curry which I ordered using the website promising 45 minute delivery. I phoned 90 minutes later to check where it was. The manager denied having received the order, was not only unapologetic but extremely rude and aggressive saying that it was not their responsibility. I spent the next three hours trying to have my payment refunded. In the managers defence he did eventually apologise for his earlier conduct. However, if you value your disposable income, free time and sanity stay well away.

great place to get some quality scran

Rude.. I walked in to get a drink before heading home bar man walked up to me and told me to leave. I was like I've just came in.. I've done nothing wrong he said I don't care leave I was like, "Can I speak to the landlord he said he was the landlord if that's how you speak to customers I'd avoid this place at all costs lots of other more accommodating bars local to this place try them first avoid avoid avoid !

2nd visit here and all the food we've had has been just fantastic! Truly delicious! A great menu, good prices. A true prize 👍

The fish and chips were the most disgusting I have ever had. Will not be back here. I ordered two special (large) cod, one chips, one mushy peas. I got two small fish and chips and one mushy peas. Why?I don't know. Service was terrible. The chip fat has a dreadful smell to it, which taints the food. I have been ill all night after eating this food. We certainly would not go anywhere near this place again. I wouldn't even give it one star for food.

Had Chinese takeaway very tasty

A bit disappointed to be honest. Pizza was really mediocre and pretty soggy. Doesn't come close to deserving 5 stars sadly. Wouldn't return to this one I'm afraid.

My friend and I enjoyed a peaceful break here towards the end of a Saturday afternoon. The service was very good and the tea and cake were delicious. I would like to go back sometime for a lunch or afternoon tea!

We stopped here when we visited Thornton Le Dale on the way back from a holiday on the coast the ice cream is really good and very creamy.There is a wide selection of flavours and staff are lovely and friendly
