0 stars , ignore all reviews as this restaurant is newly opened and has only a few reviews since obviously from the staff . This is one of the worst takeaways I’ve ever ever had. Avoid

Every food we tried is amazing! Great value of money. The owner is nice and friendly. Also everything’s halal!

Call in with my mother regularly, Lan and her husband run it on their own. Nice food at reasonable prices. Lan is so kind and helpful nothing is to much trouble . 🥰

We had a lovely meal here. The restaurant itself is quite quirky and in a bit of a strange location. There is nothing much around it so definitely one where you would drive to as it’s not really near to the centre of Brighouse. There were a few tables in when we arrived for our 7pm booking and the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. Nice background music and gorgeous lighting. It is only small so I would advise to book. We chose 3 dishes per person and one side. The highlights were definitely the sagnaki cheese with pitta, the squash and sage arrancini and the venison meatballs. All really good, beautifully presented and plentiful. A couple of things to mention. We didn’t enjoy the tomato and rosemary salt and garlic flatbread. For one it wasn’t a flatbread and more like a focaccia with a chopped tomato topping. The topping was almost ice cold so not really what we were expecting. The flat iron steak was nicely cooked but again the chimichurri that it was covered in was cold so we ate the steak quickly before it was lukewarm. The Sauvignon rose was lovely but not served in a tumbler! I thought it might just have been my drink but the couple to our left who were sharing a bottle of wine had tumblers as did the five ladies behind us. Clearly the dishwasher hadn’t been on! A service charge was added to the bill which was fine, we were happy to pay, but I did notice that the steak for example was a pound more than what was stated on the menu charged at £17 and not £16. Again not really a big issue but the menus should be changed to reflect the correct prices. The service was good and friendly and the dishes do come out as and when they are ready which is explained at the time of ordering. Our bill for two people with 6 dishes and a side and two rounds of drinks came to just over £100. It’s not cheap but baring the tomato bread we loved all the dishes and I would happily return especially as the menu seems to be changed on a regular basis

Thought we would call at this pub after thirty odd years since last visit.Glad to say it hasn’t changed a bit.Warm and welcoming ,people friendly and free titbits on the bar.Dec landlord great host.Will return.

I think the oven door got stuck on my bacon. Ridiculously hard bacon, photo to support my review. £4.00 with a drink. Safe to say it went in the bin.

Great little shop stocking essential items and lovely ice cream. Staffed by volunteers from the local community, everyone was extremely friendly.

This place is amazing. They have perfected the sweet and savoury crepe menu. I had the ham, cheese and friend egg and it was very tasty. My daughter always enjoys some variation of nutella. The staff are great and too. Whenever we come to harrogate we always build in a stop here and its clear that other customers are regulars too.

Love the toasties from here, very unique.. can't beat the flavour!

Really disappointed today, I've been a good customer for over 10 years regularly buying sandwiches for me and my family. So today I ordered a B.E.S.T and a large ham sandwich for my grandson. While I was waiting I called to a shop and returned soon after, the lady on the cooked section was chatting to a chap she had known. I was left waiting for over 15 minutes. After this time I asked if my sandwich was ready !! I was told the shop was busy I'd need to wait my turn, I'd been waiting over 15 minutes and customer were being served who had arrived after me. After being a good customer this as left me Suprised and shocked. I've always been loyal to mortimers cafe but now I'm more than happy to go elsewhere with how I was treated.

We went last night for a pizza and losded fries menu the chef said she is trialling for a few Saturdays to see how it goes . Excellent homemade pizzas and topped fries snd losded nachos ! All homemade and very tasty and reasonable too . Would certainly recommend and will be going again !

Don't let the look of this shop deceive you! We walked past and didn't think they were serving because the window doesn't have any food in it, but when we went in we were greeted by a lovely old man and they were able to make up fresh sandwiches for us. Great quality got the price and the rolls we got were very fresh, would recommend!
