Poor Customer Service Quite Disappointed When Having A Bite To Eat The Food and Plate Was Removed From My Table Without Asking When I Was At The Bar Getting Drinks For My Party. No Further Food Available Courtesy Would Have Been To Ask Before Removing From Table To See If It Belonged To Someone Unfortunately This Venue Will Be Crossed Off Booking In Future Because Of This

This is a great pub/restaurant. We have been here a fair few times over the last few years. We have never had a problem. We've also celebrated my sons 13th surprise meal here with a large group. The food and service was faultless. I think the menu choice is varied to cater for all. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is amazing with generous portions. The service is very prompt and efficient. I'm glad we live near such a fantastic pub/restaurant. Also, if you have a dog, you are able to sit in the "bar" area with your dog. We sometimes take our little cockapoo with us. By the way, the "bar" area isn't like a typical bar area in a pub, it is very much still part of the restaurant and to be honest, if we was automatically seated in the bar area, we wouldn't notice as it's no different to the restaurant area.

This is one of my local chip shops and it gets used by us on a regular basis. They do a large range of hot takeaway food and the chips etc are always cooked fresh so you'll be happy to know that your food will be nice and hot. The staff have always been very warm and friendly, there's no sit down available as it's a chip shop and not a restaurant. There's parking just outside so that shouldn't be a problem for you although it can get busy between 5pm and 7pm .

There’s something undeniably comforting about a well-executed traditional pub roast dinner, and my recent experience did not disappoint. From the moment I walked into the cozy, wood fired pub, I knew I was in for a treat. The plate arrived piled high with all the classics: tender slices of slow-roasted beef, gammon and juicy chicken and golden roast potatoes with perfectly crispy edges, and a generous portion of fluffy Yorkshire pudding. The vegetables carrots, parsnips, and greens were cooked to perfection, retaining just the right amount of bite. But the real star was the gravy. Rich, flavorful, and just the right consistency, it tied everything together beautifully. A dollop of mint sauce on the side added a delightful kick, while the pigs in blankets were a decadent touch that I couldn’t resist. The portions were hearty, satisfying even the hungriest appetite, and the presentation was rustic yet inviting. Paired with a lovely glass of wine this roast was the epitome of comfort food. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff checking in just enough to ensure I had everything I needed. The pub itself had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with the hum of contented diners and the occasional crackle from the fireplace. If you’re looking for a traditional pub roast that feels like a hug on a plate, this spot is well worth a visit. It’s everything you could hope for in a Sunday roast: simple, hearty, and utterly delicious.
