The Heathcote Inn in Warwick

Been a few time's before without any issues. Called in for lunch today and always recieve a good service. Friendly staff and always polite. No waiting for the food. Price's shot up. With less on the plate.

We are here on a spur of the moment and what a happy choice it was! The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is simple amazing so tasty. Even though the place was rammed the service was swift and efficient literally cannot fault it. We will be coming back and 100% recommending to family and friends. Thank you.

Sunday Lunch for my daughters birthday was absolutely great. Excellent service although very busy.Sunday roast was delicious and staff all cheerful and helpful . Only downside was incredibly vocal dog who barked constantly and was clearly not happy but thankfully as the people were only drinking they were asked to move outside.

This is not really a complaint about the venue or the food as I've always had a good experience at the Heathcote. It's more to do with awareness. I was served alcoholic drinks instead of zero 0% larger by a new member of staff. The implications of this mistake could have been massive for the most obvious reasons. I wasn't offered any sort of compensation, but I did receive a lot of apologies. I was quite upset about this.

Food not good chicken very dry and forgot blue cheese and creamy peppercorn sauce was just gravy with peppercorns in no one asked if we enjoyed our meal or if they could help sat on a table without reserved sign got asked to move. Very bad experience will not come back food basic they seem yo want to get you in and out quickly

Went last Friday 16th afternoon 3.0clock what a lovely meal Best I’ve had there for ages and my friend said it’s the best she’s had there too Must Have Been The chef excellent meal, hope next time I go, he’s cooking

What has happened here?? Come quite often as my kid enjoys the build your own wraps. Change of pace today she had macaroni cheese. The meal was stone cold in the centre and runny as anything so had to send it back. Garlic bread genuinely solid and overcooked……inedible. Thanks for serving my kid slops. My burger (a double bacon cheese) was also hard and dry. The outside was burnt. Thanks couldn’t physically cut into it with a knife as it was that hard. Definitely microwave waved at some stage. This really was the pits. Paid my bill and got out of there. Sort it out guys.

Myself and my husband have eaten at the Heathcote many times and have always enjoyed our meals with no complaints. However today we came with relatives who had driven from a distance and we booked with you as we knew they would have a good meal from our past experiences. The chicken Kiev was just like a fried kids turkey dinosaur, the chips were cold and the burgers looked burnt. I didn’t want to make fuss at the time or even make my dissatisfaction known publicly as it’s never happened before. However, I am disappointed in the meals we had today especially as we had brought our guests along. I have contacted them direct but have not had a reply so now I have highlighted my complaint on trip advisor

I would like to thank the Heathcote for their great service. We turned up on Saturday afternoon and my elderly Dad was really keen to have soup ! Although it was not officially on the menu Tyler and the chef managed to sort everything out. My dad was so pleased. The food was fantastic. Ten out of ten !

A birthday lunchtime treat for my wife. Usual high standard of food and service. Managed to get parked but this can be tricky on a busy day. Best advice if yo are local, book a taxi and enjoy a couple of drinks! We had beer and a large g&t, two main courses, a coffee and a humungous chocolate brownie sundae. The bill was £49 which I thought was very good. We have been here several times, including a funeral reception and the food and service is consistently good.

Absolutely the best local carvery. Food and service are both 5 star. Highly recommended. Booking is advised as the place is heaving, especially with the Sunday carvery.

our fourth visit this time our 60th wedding anniversary with our family everyone very happy with their food except me each time we have been i have had chicken strips and chilli very very good until this time chicken strips more than likely recooked as batter was brick hard and the chicken had shrunk to nothing not at all enjoyable i told the staff but had very little response quite possibly won't go again shame

can’t give zero stars. light lunch for family. food took over 45 minutes to arrive. several other tables arriving afterwards served before us. no communication from staff. we have to ask twice and was told not long, 3rd time was finally told ordered didn’t go through from person taking order at the till. food was nothing to write home about when it arrived, cold fries greasy onion rings and croutons on the salad be giving this place a miss for a while

We went to The Heathcote for dinner on a Sunday evening and had a very good meal. The pub is very pleasant, comfortable and warm to sit in. The menu has plenty of choice and is quite reasonably priced. The serving staff were very attentive and friendly, were keen to check whether our meal was OK and served our food and drinks quickly. The quality of the food was very good. All in all, a very good dining experience.

What an absolutely fantastic pub - from the moment we walked in to the time we left...everything was perfect. We asked for a dog friendly area. The young lady who served us (red hair, think her name was Katie?) was friendly, efficient, welcoming & even asked the Chef for some scrag ends of meat for our dog & brought her a water bowl - she is an asset to this establishment. She was lovely. The carvery was just incredible with everything...there was no queue & things were still being replenished later in the day. If I had to pick one negative it would be the beef which was quite pink, I prefer it more cooked & I did hear a lady behind ask for hers to be taken away & cooked a little more. They didn't hesitate. All the staff here are super friendly & efficient, they work so hard. Will definitely return as we need to try a pudding, we were just too full!

There was a delay in our table Being ready but they phoned to Let me Know ahead and treated us to a round of complimentary drinks Kids food came out first as I requested and adult meals Were all good It’s hard to get large parties right but I would book again. We visited today for our first ever roast. I have felt compelled to write this review just because I was so impressed! There’s not many places that can do a carvery and maintain a high standard. The food was replenished constantly so it was always fresh. The meat was really lovely, not fatty and melted in the mouth. Really good value for money with trimmings etc etc. The service was outstanding, the young-ish guy who served us on the carvery was so lovely and really made an effort with my son who was feeling shy. We were served by a lovely lady who did several check-backs and replenished our drinks before we had to ask. Not much more we could ask for really. Thank you for a great experience, we’ll certainly be back.

The food here used to be much better and currently it appears as if the chef on duty couldn't be bothered to cook properly- the chips were well under cooked and the Bread and Butter pudding was very luke warm... One other thing- the toilets were awful- the toilet wouldn't flush and the wash basin had a tap that didn't work properly.

Visit this the heathcote with friends 6 of us looked busy we ordered the chicken shaslick was not impressed it was just 2 chicken sleeps did not have much flavour to the chicken was nothing like a chicken shaslick served on bed of salad with some sort wrap in which was tough it seemed to bern put through the microwave with a bowl of luke warm reheated chips. One of the party had the pork belly in which was found very fatty and again tough as if had gone through a microwave luke warm veg. All the meals seemed to been served Luke warm. Did not enjoy the any of the meals won't be returning

We wanted somewhere we could book in advance that was child friendly and good quality. Have had lots of recommendations for this place, my nephew works here and always says how good it is. We weren’t disappointed, the service was excellent, the waitress was so good with the child in the party allowing him time to order his own food. Our meals were all very good the child’s meal was huge, great for a little boy with a big appetite. Two of us had sandwiches, they were huge and of a good quality. We all had puds and the cheesecake was delicious. Can see why so many people recommend it.

Today Christmas Day we were booked for our Dinner . It was lovely could not fault it .All cooked well and plenty available . The starters and desserts were also excellent . The staff were so nice and obliging could not do enough for the guests we had a lovely girl watching our table . Everywhere was clean and kept clean throughout service . A lovely touch was a box of mincepies and brownies to take home so appreciated . Would we do it again , absolutely we would. It was nice to catch up with family didn’t rate the meal I had carvery meat was nice roast potatoes were awful very hard and small tasted like they had been cooked twice veg was ok except cauliflower cheese was mushed up and after the meal it took a long time to come back for us to order sweets then after I had ordered coffee the lady came to say she needed table after 15 minutes 😡it felt like we were rushed out I would probably not go here again 😡

We came on a Sunday for the carvery. It’s always busy as it’s so popular. The food was great, as was the service and the atmosphere. Non-carvery option was also available as some of our group didn’t want carvery. Highly recommend.

We are weekly regulars to The Heathcote and for very good reason. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The food is great with great service and very well priced. It’s always nice to see the friendly faces of Georgia, Amy and Kayleigh behind the bar. We will continue to come to The Heathcote when we are in leamington. Come visit, you will not be disappointed.

So I regularly visit and my experience is normally a good one but unfortunately today that was not the case. The drinks order was wrong to start with, the food came out quick but unfortunately most meals were cold, poorly presented and of a pretty low standard. After waiting quite a bit of time for the table to be cleared we waited for our server to come back to take our dessert order after waiting 25 mins we were then told we did not have enough time to order desserts but could sit outside as they needed the table for 5pm. We were then told at 4.50pm their next table had arrived and we had to leave our table even though we still had drinks to finish therefore had to leave a whole glass of wine which is also £8.60 down the drain. Could go on about the server as he was very rude. Made us as a hole feel very uncomfortable. So all in all a very disappointing experience. We will not be rushing back.

Had Sunday carvery lunch which was superb and the staff were EXCELLENT in every respect! Great choice of food with very ample portions and beautifully cooked. The venue is also dog friendly on the right hand side of the premises. Full lunch and huge dessert for around £20! We live locally and have eaten here a la Carte before and so wish we had tried the carvery long ago.
