Carrie greeted us and we had a great meal in a relaxing cosy atmosphere

Great food and service especially from Stuart who was fantastic all the way through the meal. Nothing was a problem.

Had a excellent experience in the queen and castle the service was amazing and the food was perfect. The staff was polite and respectful.

Came to the bar for drinks, was served by cain, was great service and a quality pint, all staff were lovely

Only came in for a drink and quickly turned into some food, can only thank Cain for his amazing service and food recommendations when we were there, definitely will be going again! Thanks Cain!

I had a non-planned dinner with my husband. I haven’t been to the Queen & Castle for a while. I was delighted to see Cain, who served us a few years ago, was back! He is charming, relaxed an attentive and made us feel special. The mushroom risotto was lovely. I would recommend the Queen & Castle.

We went got a meal last Tuesday. The bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere. The service by Caino was pleasant and attentive. The food (bangers and mash) was good. Recommended.

My wife and myself went for a drink and food and we had an excellent experience. The service was excellent. We were served by a South African gentleman, I believe that his name was Cain. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you. Rex

Came down to vist family in the UK and stopped here for lunch. On our day trip definitely worth the detor friendly staff and great atmosphere and staff where great our waiter cain was great.

This is a service I will never forget. Please ask for Cain who brings cocktails and EVERY alcohol beverage on time and helps you choose food on the menu when your not sure what to test....including where to go in the area for fun and entertainment. Great place for Sunday dinner and great views of castle 🔥

It was our first visit here and I was celebrating my birthday. Everything was excellent, my husband had the fish and chips which includeda huge piece of fish , chunky chips, minted peas and tatre sauce. I had belly pork and scallops with duphinoise potatoes. It came with a thin slice of my favourite pork crackling which was easy to eat. The pork was succulent, scallops tasty and well cooked, potatoe s not too creamy, just perfect. We both had a mini pud and coffee to finish off the meal. Waiter was knowledgeable, friendly without being ott. It was the perfect birthday meal.

A meal for my husbands birthday. We had 4 little children in our group. We were made to feel so welcome. The kids were made to feel special, which helped the parents relax! The food and drinks were delicious. We had an amazing area reserved for us which was cosy, elegant, and spacious. Thank you Queen and Castle!

Food was fantastic, full of taste and flavours. I had the harissa lamb rump, my fiancee had the blade of beef. Both were cooked to perfection. I would also like to comment on how well we both felt looked after by our waiter, Stuart. He was really accommodating and was a genuine nice guy. Could see he worked his socks off but still made time to come and have a chat with us both, it just added to such a comfortable experience for our anniversary.

Popped in for a pizza and a pint and had some exceptional service from Cain. Get that man a pint 👏

Dog friendly and one of the most affordable and tasty three course menu. 23 pounds for a great menu with a lot of choices next to the beautiful view of the castle. Really recommended.

Food was delicious and parking was convenient. Stuart served us and was very polite and accommodating. Would come back again.

Very nice place ,excellent food. And good service. Parking you have to put your car registration number on a tab as you go in. prices are a little steep .

This is only our second visit as we don't live locally, and we were pleased to see Stuart was looking after us again. This is a lovely, friendly place, with fabulous food, and the staff are always cheerful and helpful. Stuart gave us extra information to help us choose from the lovely menu. Looking forward to our third visit soon.

The Queen and Castle has become a firm favourite for us. Such a lovely warm welcoming space, with beautiful decor and very comfy seating! The food is always wonderful and never disappoints, with an excellent and extensive choice of drinks. The staff are very attentive, and on our last visit, we were looked after by Stuart, whose cheerful and friendly manner enhanced our experience. We asked for a recommendation, and he suggested a wonderful home made pie, which was indeed delicious. We were very well looked after, and will definitely be back again soon.

Very good food, priced reasonably for the venue, good service and free, large car park. Very close to castle if you wanted to stop by for a bite to eat. Definitely would recommend

Expected the experience to be better than I received. Meal took an hour from ordering to bring brought to table.i had ordered the steak and merlot pie . Pastry was so hard it needed the supplied extra gravy to make it edible. In the I was there time no staff came to table to enquire how meal was .

Best Sunday lunch in Kenilworth

Only went for drinks quite busy early Friday evening, friendly guy serving, not many places to sit just for a drink as most of the tables are for dining, glass light shades above the bar at eye level were filthy, full of dust and dirt, wouldn’t take much to clean them ! not nice

Venue and meal was lovely. Customer service was very poor. by one particular waitress. She was rude, unhelpful and didn’t know the menu when I asked questions.

Very good food at reasonable prices. It was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. A relaxing place to have lunch, after visiting the castle, where they offer baked potato lunches only, and the toilets are very small.

Excellent food (the garlic bread pizzete as starter turned out to be a whole extra pizza, wow!), great service from Stuart & the rest of the staff, a memorable lunchtime experience in a very pleasant restaurant with views of Kenilworth Castle over the road. Large carpark & plenty of outdoor seating too - if only the British summer would provide some suitable weather!

We were expecting a little more from the establishment. It seemed to focus more on customers buying food rather than those who would like to finish their afternoon at the castle with a traditional pint of ale. Shame as if we could have seen the menu, we may have stayed to eat too.

I’ve been to QC many times and the service is just spectacular! Stuart was so attentive and friendly with me and my clients. I’d definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice atmosphere and good food. Thank you QC team, thank you Stuart!

We ordered pizza which was really awful - tasted worse than a defrosted one from a supermarket, it wasn’t even warm and cheese not melted fully, tasted like they microwaved it but not quite long enough 🙄 I can’t comment on any other food since we only had pizza & chips but based on what I wouldn’t ever recommend this place for food. The larger was nice though & beer garden big & pleasant (hence two stars). Service wasn’t amazing either as we got no napkins, no cutlery or salt and paper 🤷🏼‍♀️

I didn’t eat here this time, but had an issue. I rang and spoke to Amanda. A little while later, Amanda actually went out of her way and rung me back because she wanted to help me sort out the issue. Amanda spent time on the phone with me, and helped me sort this out. Never has anyone went out of their way like that for me before from a restaurant. I wanted to leave feedback to let Amanda know how much her help and time is appreciated, and how much of a credit to the queen and castle she is. We have also eaten here before. The food is amazing. ThankYou again. We’ll be back soon

Scored down on food as fish was all batter with hardly any cod there - no offer of reduction on bill and expected better considering the prices. Overpriced and food was mediocre.

An absolutely beautiful Sunday dinner the food was second to none best Sunday lunch I think we've had and we've had a few but a special mention to issy who made the whole dining experience a pleasure so warm and caring of our needs and so attentive cannot be faulted and must be an asset to the pub to be cherished

This was our second visit. Food is absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. Staff are attentive and service is smooth. Thumbs up to Freddie, our server. Polite, friendly and excellent service with attention to detail. Portions are a good size and food is high quality served in a well decorated, comfortable Environment.

Had lunch there this week. The 'musac' in the front bar was too loud for us so we ate in the main restaurant. The receptionist there was too busy on the phone to acknowledge our presence, but other staff were fine .The menu looks OK but the food was a little disappointing. Not exactly bad but lacking quality. The fish was a bit over cooked and rather covered in sauce and the new potatoes were very obviously re-heated. But the building, the garden and the general environment are good. Price not too bad.

Lovely pub right opposite the castle they even have tables with a view so pretty and great food and service.

Bus the tables in the outdoor space if you don’t want your customers to feel like they are eating in a skip.

The Queen and Castle has such potential, with its prime location and lovely outdoor space. Unfortunately, every time we have visited the garden when the weather is nice, all the tables are full of dirty dishes, glasses, and trash. There appears to be plenty of staff, who will deliver food, then walk away and leave behind all the dirty items from previous guests. We watched many people move dirty things to other tables so they could sit down and also saw people simply leave when they saw the condition of the tables. Such a shame and missed opportunity. The management should be ashamed.

Gorgeous place , absolutely lovely menu and the food was amazing I had the roast lamb steak with potatoes, veggies and red wine jus , hubby had fish and chips and he said it was lovely we ate everything. Also dog friendly in the bar
