We held our wedding breakfast / reception here on Friday 24th April 2015 and we simply couldn't have wished for anything more. Right from day one Tracey and Andy were amazing. We knew we were in good hands and this really helped with our nerves! Andy tailored our wedding breakfast to exactly our requirements and we even had the chance to taste the starter and main course, cementing our opinion that we had definitely made the right choice by having our wedding here. Aside from the family connection to the golf club itself, the venue is amazing. The evening food (pork batches with all the trimmings) went down a treat with our guests. Perfect for soaking up the booze. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leamington and County to anyone who is looking for a venue for any type of celebration of any size. The room works perfectly with small and large groups. And the views as you sit and eat, well they are simply stunning. Thank you to everyone for giving us the most amazing day. Well what can I say, an amazing first experience and won't be our last! We had leek soup to start and I couldn't get enough! Wish it was a bottomless bowl! Creamy, filling and just delicious! For the main we had the Sunday lunch there was three meats to choose from, Turkey gammon and beef. I had all three and everyone was tender not one piece was chewy! There was home made Yorkshire puddings, which were light as a feather. Mixture of veg which were cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes and new potatoes which melted in your mouth like butter. And proper home made gravy which topped the meal off! Then for desert I had warm chocolate brownie with ice cream and strawberries on top with maple syrup. And it melted in my mouth I couldn't praise the food any more. Home made quality! There was fresh white linnen on the table with freshly picked flowers. And even though we didn't ask for it fresh water which was lovely. The service was top notch made you feel like family but with a professional touch! I would recommend this beautiful restaurant to anyone. With its beautiful amazing views. Warm and welcoming 5 stars! A*

Can't believe how great this place is. Nearly gave up on going to cavarys before visiting here. For a golf club I wouldn't expect such fine dining. Even down to the fine touches of the linen table cloths and fresh flowers. Views are beautiful and such a comfortable environment. Service is excellent, food is delicious. Such great value for money.Would recommend to all, looking forward to going back again

Had lunch here on Sunday. A nice atmosphere, nice views over the golf course! Service was excellent from when we walked in until we left. The food was great. Freshly cooked starters all with quality ingredients and a carvery main, not usually one to go for a carvery style. However this was brilliant. It was all fresh, hot and nicely served. Had 3 meats perfectly cooked beef, honey roast ham and turkey. The Yorkshires the best I've had. Will return and will recommend to all! Best roast for a long time!

8 of us visited for the Sunday carvery on the 11th January. It was my wife's birthday celebration and because we had a very good experience last time we went again. It was even better. Excellent choice of four starters. The main was beef, turkey and gammon plus roasts, yorkshires, new pots and various seasonal veggies. Great to pile your plate up. Finished off with choice of four desserts. Oh also coffees or tea to finally finish. Fantastic value for money and a secret gem. You don't need to be or even know a member that plays there. It really is excellent and service is wonderful. I thoroughly recommend you try it out. You won't be disappointed.

We got treated to Sunday lunch by our niece and hubby who is a member. Its a carvery and really good value. 3 courses for £15, 2 for £13.50. Although most of the main course is served meat & veg etc we were asked if we wanted more which was brilliant for a big eater like me. Good choice of starters and desserts. Drinks were very reasonable too, even the coffees were £1.40 per person and the coffee pot served 4 cups for the two of us so again good value. Service was brilliant throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would most definitely go again.

We visited for Sunday lunch for my brother's birthday. The food was delicious and great value for money. The main course is a carvery so you can decide what you want to eat. The choice of starters and desserts is excellent. The service is outstanding. There is a dress code here to fit in with the golf club rules which is fair enough. Well worth a visit.

Our Son and daughter in law held their Wedding reception at Leamington and County Golf Club on the 24th May this year. We approached Tracey and Andy way back in 2012 to discuss our arrangements and wishes and from the time they advised us all the way, nothing was too much trouble and you could ring either of them at anytime. There is a wide variety of Wedding Menu's that cater for every taste. On the day the food was excellent and the compliments we received from the daytime and evening guests were endless, we pass these on directly to Andy they are well deserved. If you are looking for a wedding venue apart from the amazing setting you will receive excellent service from Tracey, Andy and their team they take the worry from you and you actually get to enjoy the wedding. They also have very reliable contacts for room decorations and disco etc. it is clear they all work well together. My husband and I cannot thank them or recommend them enough.Pip and Alan Brady

From the service, to the ambience, to the views, made this Sunday lunch truly excellent. Good value and good food and a great Merlot at a very reasonable price just makes this restaurant worth coming back to. Everyone made us feel very welcome and much more of a restaurant than a golf club lounge.

The food is great, the service second to none, it is the best value for money in the area. We have been on several occasions and have taken many of our friends and have never been disappointed. You need to book the Sunday Carvery well in advance and if, like me, you don't eat meat, you need to let the chef know when you book and you will not be disappointed. I have had some of the best veggie meals ever. You don't have to be a member of the Golf Club either and parking is not a problem. It is a superb venue for special occasions too, and the views are lovely and you are able to sit outside when the weather is good. We have no hesitation recommending this Restaurant and will be going again as soon as we can.Jantony 19

We were seven and it was almost magnificent, hence the title. Reading your other reviews of smart casual and suits - they do not seem overtly fussed what you wear as I would scrape in as smart cashz, and you wouldn't get me in a suit, that aside, it does have white table cloths in a cordoned off part of the club house lounge. There was one big party of about 26, of adults grannies and vey well behaved young children - and us. Didn't see any corriders because we came in via the picture window opposite the fairway. The smokers outside marred the lounge bar with their pong but it did not reach where we diners were. We were served by a proficient friendly maitre d', and some nervous young waitresses. The bar isn't bad serving two guest hand pumped beers at £3.50 a pint, (not cheap) no port on offer and the house wine was a bit rough. As we were in company we went with the flow or we would have asked for the wine list. It was solely a carvery for £12.50 with four options from each of the three courses. Our vegetarian friend (a regular) telephoned in advance, a vegetarian tip worth knowing. They didn't know what they would be given but luckily they liked it. Comfortably seated at a round table we chose poached salmon with a puff of pastry or home made coarse paté with onion relish both with a salad garnish. All excellent, and a basket of complimenatry bread rolls and fleurettes of butter. We all went for the roast beef served slightly pink carved by the chatty chef. Mine could have been warmer and less firm but was very tasty. I could also have done with a sharper knife. Huge light fluffy Yorkshires, roasted and new potatoes, then a colourful mixture comprising of broccoli, carrot batons, and whole African beans, a bit fiddly if you don't like all of them, gravy served to you and sources not. I was at the vegetables before the servers appeared so there was a bit of confusion and an errant spud, which I put down to nerves and inexperience (on their part!)Desserts are served to your table, individual tarte tatins with icecream, one was a tiny bit burnt on the underside but the diner didn't want to complain, a decent portion of sticky toffee pudding with cream, a cinnamon waffle light and airy with rum and raisin icecream, and an enormous strawberry cream slice followed by PROPER expressos! Excellent value, ambience and surroundings, nice people and a huge carpark with a beautiful view out on to the rolling countryside. Tip 2, it is advisable to book.

We booked here for a family celebration after having the Sunday lunch some months earlier. The food, as last time was excellent and great value. Tracey and here team were excellent allowing us to secretly bring in a cake, presents and customised bottles for a toast before hand. This is the place to go for Sunday lunch in Leamington and on a sunny day the views across the golf course are wonderful. You must book well in advance.

The Golf Club Sunday lunch £12.50 three courses £11.50 two courses, was recommended to us by friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service both at the Bar and in the Restaurant was excellent, and the food too with a choice of four starters and four desserts. The main course was Carvery which was four meats, Yorkshire Puddings and roast potatoes. The waiting staff then bring freshly cooked to perfection vegetables to the table in I am pleased to say hot serving dishes. The view from the restaurant is lovely overlooking the golf course which adds to a lovely afternoon. Enter through the front of the building as you will need a member to let you in if you go the other way! Will definitely be passing this recommendation on to our meat eating friends can't comment on the choices for vegetarians.

Having heard good reports of the food/chef at this Golf Club (based in Whitnash) we decided to give it a try for their Sunday Lunch Carvery. You do not need to be a club member to eat here.Don't be put off by having to walk through the Club entrance/corridors etc to get to the restaurant/bar area. The restaurant itself overlooks the course, so has wonderful country views! You can even watch the golfers tee off! The tables were beautifully laid out with crisp white linen tablecloths, gleaming cutlery and glassware and fresh-cut flowers. Superb first impressions. Our waiter (Angus) is a real asset to the restaurant. Professional, courteous, friendly... everything you want from a waiter. They offer a 3 course menu, although we all opted for two courses each. The starters were delicious. The pate was packed full of flavour with a homemade chutney, the smoked salmon starter was plentiful and really enjoyed by my fellow diners. We were given a full basket of complimentary mixed rolls, and offered more if we wished. Then for the mains we helped ourselves at the carvery. On offer were a wonderful Ham, roast beef or roast pork loin. I opted for the beef which was excellent and cooked just to my liking (medium to medium rare). My only small gripe is I wish we could have had more than the two smallish slices we were given. Another slice would have been welcomed. We could help ourselves to roast pots, homemade stuffing and HUGE yorkshire puds, which was great. Then came mixed seasonal veg and new potatoes amongst a choice of sauces and of course homemade gravy.....which was superb!Overall, a really enjoyable roast. The best we have had in any restaurant for quite some time, and we have tried many in the area! Sadly only two of us had room for pud, both ordered the white chocolate meringue raspberry roulade...yummy! By now we were all well and truly full to capacity. The emphasis here is on good, freshly made food at a VERY reasonable price. None of us could find any fault at all with any aspect of the food, which is unusual for us.As for the cost. It was a shockingly good £10.50 for TWO courses!!! WOW!! Tips: You will really need to book for Sunday lunch, it is popular for good reason. Dress code I would say is smart casual, with a number in suits etc. It is also popular for special occasions with a number of Birthdays and large family groups evident. Can't recommend enough. We will be booking again soon!

We stayed in the Holiday inn. Across the road. We love indian food. So thought we would try Sunam. Lovely staff. Very friendly. We had poppadoms with chutneys. Witch was lovely. Wife had chicken Biriani. I had Handi Gosht. OMG. Big chunks of Lamb that fell apart. Probably the best Lamb I've had. In the best curry I've had for a while. Wife was more than happy with her Biriani. I seen a Naan bread called Mr Lee's Naan. Apparently he's a regular who asked them to make the Naan it's got a bit of everything in it. So they put it on the menu. Lamb. Cheese. Chilli. Corriander. The best Naan we've had. Highly recommended. 👍
