Fast service, new interesting menu, allowing us to try new dishes, really nice food, meat was really tender, will definitely be returning

the food was great but what put me off was how she treated her employees ,the girl looked like she was having a breakdown , i’ve been in there a few times before and the food has always been decent not the best but not the worst, but it was really the way she spoke to her staff ,really threw me off going again as i felt to say something because i wouldn’t like it if it was my daughter !!!!

Walked to the Fish Bar whilst looking after our grandson in Streetly, it was a bitterly cold day and we wanted something hot for lunch. My husband ordered a large cod and chips for us to share and it was freshly cooked the staff couldn't have been nicer, my husband overheard one customer asked which curry sauce he wanted, my husband heard the member of staff say Irish curry sauce, when the customer left he asked the member of staff what Irish curry sauce was and he said it was a bit sweeter with an after kick. We got the fish and chips and as it was so cold we ate it in the shop it was gorgeous the member of staff gave us a pot of the Irish curry sauce which was fantastic. Great food, fine service and great atmosphere. We went on a Wednesday, Few people, but still nice. Was there a year ago, and still just as good!

Asked for Haddock. What I got was certainly not what I see as Haddock !

Such a lovely place to come for a hot drink and some food. The staff are really kind too!

I booked a table. When we arrived we waited to be serviced but the service wasn't welcoming. I told her I'd booked a table but was early and she just told us to sit anywhere. My partner felt very intimated due to being stared at. This day and age black people shouldn't be have to be felt like that. We had our drinks sat and looked at the menu i went to order starter and this wasn't available. So not having this and feeling uncomfortable we decided to leave which staff never acknowledged and people just stared as we left. Not a very pleasant experience at all.

The food is very nice. The indifferent service lets it down.

Hadn't been here since likely 1st opened as now live other side of Sutton. The food was good. I won't leave it so long before revisiting.

Molly and the rest of the staff were really lovely and welcoming! Great service and lovely food. We had the steak and the steak and pie duo, it was very nice.
