The best restaurants in Pleck Walsall West Midlands

We were really excited when we saw that a food van was coming to Herbert’s Yard that does orange chips, even better when we saw that it was Indian inspired. We were really disappointed though. The chips literally aren’t battered at all and the pakora just tasted like standard cod bites. Disappointing. EDIT: After being invited to try the West Mids Chip Van again, I honestly can't believe the difference. I must have caught them at a bad time before because the difference was night and day. The chips were delicious and crispy, and the fish pakora was beautifully spiced, fresh and delicate. The staff were great and explained that sometimes it happens but if you let them know, they will be happy to sort you out. We had 2 portions and we both left feeling like it was on of the best meals we've ever had at Herbert's Yard. We will definitely be back the next time they are in town!

We pre booked for a gathering of friends that did extend by a few. The alterations was freely extended and fully facilitated. The food was delicious, beautifully severed with exceptional service. Absolutely recommend a visit and will return again. The cost, exeptional value. Thank you as extremely well managed from start to finish.

Had Aloo paratha and veg samosa. Paratha was so delicious and huge. Reminded of food back home .

Can be expensive especially when eating with family. However the food is delicious. Also the parking area needs to be tarmacked

My order took 2 hours and no apology from the delivery driver what’s so ever .

This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Delicious food, affordable prices, short waiting times.

Very very poor service so unprofessional people.please avoid .they are very illiterate people. No manners at all. I felt very uncomfortale and not happy with their behaviour. Only self service available

I was amazed by the delicious Greek food and wonderful service at Kouza restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and having travelled extensively in Greece, I must say the food was very authentic. The owner is absolutely lovely and makes you feel so welcomed. If I’m in Birmingham again, I will absolutely come back! Martha

Always good food and staff are very friendly and attentive. Its a shame though as a frequent customer they do not deliver to our area now even though they have delivered before.

Can’t review food as we didn’t get any, can’t review atmosphere as we ordered takeout. However, I can review service. Waited in excess of 40 min to receive an email that the order was canceled and to add insult to injury no refund!! When called the excuse was we are too far away Great Wyrley (WS6), not sure why the accepted the order then. Without checking emails we could have been waiting all night for the order as no call was given by the restaurant to let us know this was the case. The pizza might be awesome, but we’ll never know!

Food is good and employees are generally nice and accurate with timing. Arshdeep served me today and i asked her if i could get the mother’s day free dessert as a takeout for my mom. She told me i can’t do takeout for free it will have to be full price, but if i eat in it’ll be free. i went to go and ask my mom if she wants to come back later and she said just pay full price. i went back in and told arshdeep about how i was on the phone with one of their employees today and she said i can take out and still get the discount. she completely ignored what i had to say and confirmed my order. her ignorance extremely affected my mood.
