The best restaurants in Tamworth West Midlands

Had a Bacon and Mushroom Sandwich,it was one of the best I have had in ages .You had loads of Bacon and mushrooms ,it was absolutely gorgeous . Wasn’t greasy either like some places can be . The coffee was also one of the best I have had in a long time . I written this review because I think it was best value for money and by far better than a lot of the expensive restaurants around. Thank you ladies

Lovely the food, could do with smarting up, but great food.

I come to Tudor 3 or 4 times a week With different friends Wednesday day my 2 friends and I call it our sausage club as we generally have sausage sandwiches Thursday is me and daughter breakfast Then other times in-between The Staff and food are excellent We have also enjoyed evening events here too.

It was our first time trying carribean food. We walk past the restaurant and the smells are amazing. The food was nice and the menu was varied. We especially enjoyed the slaw and plantain that came with our box meals. The drinks were good too, i opted for a mocktail which looked and tasted exceptional. The negatives i thought were firstly it wasn’t clear wheee the toilets were. I rid look but assumed they were outside. Second the service was slow. I was happy waiting for the food because the menu warned of a 30-40 minute wait but the wait to get a drinks order taken was too long. I had the goat curry which I was happy to have on the bone but the ratio bone to meat wasn’t great. Also, the boxes that the meals come in are too small for the amount of food. The big portions are great but with the curry when i was trying to get the bones out it was overflowing over the side

Tucked away down a side street, sticky fingers serves honest homemade food. I had the salad box and felt healthier eating it! And then finished it off with some homemade ice cream - a scoop of cookie dough and a scoop of malteser. The owner was warm and friendly and she ended up giving me my lunch for free (obviously don't expect this when you go) but what a kind person!! Thank you sticky fingers as you made my day even brighter 😊

Very disappointing. We ordered hot dog and chips with crispy onions - no chips and no onions in the order. We also ordered a burger with cheese - no cheese. A shame really as we had heard good stories but if they can't get an order right then there is little to praise. What we had tasted good however

Just excellent. If I was living in this area Iwoukd come there every week! Food of! quality, cooked perfectly. Good job

Booked a table at 5.00pm when they opened and asked for a table downstairs for 8pm as one of the party has a bad leg and could not get up the stairs. They took our name and confirmed that would be fine and showed us the table they had reserved for us. We arrived at 8pm and asked for the table we had booked with them at 5pm. Only to be told that they had no tables left downstairs and we could have a table up stairs. They tried to say they got confused as somebody else had arrived in a wheelchair. But they were not on the table they had reserved us . Another party of 6 were sitting there. So don’t make a reservation with them as they don’t keep their word. Will never go back here again. Absolute shambles. Needless to say we had a fab meal at the Marmion.

I tried so many things from this restaurant and I must say that there’s food is too good or in other words (finger licking taste) food is so reasonable and the ambitious of that place is awesome it’s feels like home all because of there staffs polite nature ….👍🏻

Use the place for the 1 time can’t fault bloke behind the bar but wasn’t told bout this type in to iPad for vehicle registration so surely the pool hall can get my fine quashed

Went here today just passing on the off chance as we walked out the previous pub So we seen the menu and had a Sunday roast what was amazing The two ladies working was very polite and very helpful 👍 thank you
