Was really disappointed, have been to this Cafe many times before. Twice been turned away because of being fully booked with people having cream teas, had to go elsewhere in town for food.

Love this little cafe! Me and my partner went for breakfast it was the best breakfast we've ever had, welcoming staff lovely food and prices are great too. We will definitely be back!

Booked Afternoon Tea for my husband's birthday, what an absolute gem of a place this is! We had a huge array of sandwiches, veggie for me and meat for my husband. Cheese & Onion tartlets and Sausage Rolls as additional savoury course. Finally, Victoria Sponge, Macarron and Scones, Jam and Clotted cream. We don't drink Tea so had a large pot of coffee. The service was first class, the building is gorgeous and the whole experience was top notch. We can't wait to go back again!!

Very disappointed. On my own due to family illness, felt completely unwanted. After 20 minutes had to ask for menu. Another 20 minutes before I was told they didn't have my requested item. Really not exceptable. There are meny cafés in Litchfield. In the New year when customers are fewer you may wish you treated customers better.

Lovely cosy, friendly, warm, welcoming cafe. We visited 22nd October and 5th November for Sunday Roast Lunch. My husband and I were so impressed that we came back the next Sunday with friends! Sunday Roast is very tasty with quality ingredients, well cooked and beautifully presented. Staff are efficient and very friendly! What’s not to like? We will be back!

Great cafe which is only a 8 minute walk from the Castle Grounds where we had just done the parkrun We pre booked a table for 8 people and the communication from the off was first class Cafe atmosphere lovely and the whole experience was first class. Staff attentive and food was top drawer. Breakfast as it should be done. Thanks

Came for Sunday lunch - a party of 7. We were all made to feel really welcomed by all the staff and were seated promptly in the lovely comfy chairs in a warm and friendly environment. We were seen to by probably almost all the staff who were the sweetest! Food was fabulous, everything cooked to perfection, one of the best roasts I've eaten in any restaurant. I can't wait to come again ☺️

Honestly the best breakfast we have ever had in Tamworth. Served piping hot, service was outstanding also and the staff made me and my partner feel so welcome. Little gem of a place and we will be returning regularly from now on to explore the menu. Also to mention the decor is stunning l, really relaxed and the cute little garden out the back also. Prices are amazing too x

The most amazing hidden gem. Best Ploughman’s Lunch we have ever had, all handmade and really nicely presented. Staff lovely. Definitely recommend

We pre-booked for an afternoon tea. The table was ready for us when we arrived. The food provided was excellent and the service was great! Very pleasant surroundings inside.

Came here for lunch after visiting Tamworth the town. Ordered two ploughman’s. The scotch egg was the best ever tried , homemade , warm , perfectly cooked egg . The rest was amazing to , huge portion of cheese , quiche , sausage roll lots of things .

I come here for the decor. Sounds daft but it reminds me of someone very special to me whom sadly died. Its a way for me to visit her when I feel low. I even have a personal nickname for the cafe. Whenever I feel low or alone, I always go for a cuppa. It's so homely. Its her taste. The food is nice and staff are friendly.

We had Afternoon Tea for 14 today at Tudor House Cafe. We had a lovely time. We were well looked after, plenty of tea and coffee flowing and lovely food. They were excellent at accommodating any special dietary requests too. Would highly recommend it here.

For what you get far too expensive. Small selection of sandwiches for 3 of us, cakes are even smaller. im afraid not worth it.

Excellent evening for 25 plus, food excellent with a great range something for everyone. Relaxed setting with great atmosphere. Fantastic evening. Service exceptional . Good value would have paid more.

Lovely warm welcoming place to have lunch on a cold Saturday. We had chicken and stuffing sandwiches which were very nice with a good amount of fillings. The price was also good and the coffee was nice. It’s a little bit away from the main shops but worth the walk. Definitely go again when in Tamworth.

Walking back to the car after a meal, we saw this place and decided to pop in for a coffee.It looked very inviting and cosy. I asked if it was ok to just have a coffee and told yes, just take a seat and someone will be over to take the order.We sat by the window, and hubby saw the gin list. Well it would be rude not to! A rare child free night out, meal eaten, lets finish the evening properly! I ordered a Bombay Sapphire gin and Fevertree tonic, hubby just had a coffee.They were delivered promptly. The gin and tonic was in a proper gin balloon glass, lots of clear ice and a slice of fresh lemon. Nice to see paper straws here. It was really delicious, and hubby enjoyed his coffee.We will definitely be coming here again when we are over Tamworth way!

Excellent. Delicious variety of sandwiches, cakes plus scones, jam & cream. Tea and coffee were in China tea/coffee pots to use with china cups. Lovely surroundings and pleasant staff.

Went to the Tudor House for afternoon tea recently and was extremely impressed. Nothing was too much trouble and there was enough cake to feed an army. The sandwiches were extremely fresh and delicious as so were the assortment of cakes. I don't drink tea but the coffee was excellent. I would definitely recommend the Tudor House for afternoon tea for the ambience, food and friendly staff and I'll certainly be going back

We ordered two paninis and coffee. We had to wait 45min(!) for something which was done sloppy and quickly. Chicken was dry, there was barely any chorizo inside. Definitely not coming back.

Lovely food + ambience , efficient waitress . Portions are small even for tapas as some of the bowls are actually smaller than tapas dishes , I think 3 for £10 would be better for the size of the portions or increase the portion size . Seemed to be only cake for dessert . Hopefully this business succeeds as it is a lovely idea , may I suggest they advertise more on the internet with Tamworth Information , Spotted Tamworth or a Lichfield website. Good luck

Came here on a recommendation and what a terrific little place this is. Very chilled out, great food, terrific prices and a wonderful atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back and try the tapas and the afternoon themed teas. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out on a hidden gem.

I regularly go in here and it is lovely every single time. Food is amazing and staff are friendly. Food is cooked to order and always is excellent. It keeps me coming back so it must be good!!!

Lovely evening at the Tudor House on Saturday. I had not been before but as of December 2018 the Tudor house is now a Cafe by day and Tapas cuisine in the evening.

Staff and owner lovely people ,very good service and food is very good, well worth trying it has become a regular place for us to go carry on the good work .

Visited whilst in Tamworth ordered a chicken tikka and cheese panini which came with salad , crisps and a hot drink. Friendly service and good value for the food and drink

We called in for a cake and coffee. The portion size is generous and the sponge was light and moist. The coffee was as always good. The added benefit of the items for sale, jewellery, pictures and many more different things make it a great place to drop in and have a meal or just a cake and coffee

First time in this place very quaint and old but the service and staff were excellent the food was superb would highly recommend this place and will go back again

This is where I took my wife for afternoon tea, I had heard that it was good. When we arrived, the place was just right, sort of took you back in time for when tea rooms were the thing. I had booked a table, plus asked for gluten free food.

I've been to the Tudor House Bakery several times now and will return again and again. Located in a 16th Century timber building which is beautifully preseved. Inside it's full of original art by one of the owners with gifts and other good available to purchase.

We found Tudor House by accident, driving past it on our way into Tamworth after finding the doors of our planned lunch-stop locked. It has kerb-appeal so we went for a closer look and decided to stay.

Set in a fabulous Tudor building, wonderful coffee, cakes and food are served by the most friendly staff in a warm and homely environment surrounded by amazing art what more could you ask for. All at great prices too. The best coffee shop / art cafe for miles around, a must visit.

The Tudor Art Café as it is known is a fantastic place with great home made cakes and food that is freshly prepared, the beverages are also freshly prepared with a good range to choose from.

I visited this cafe recently and enjoyed a very nice panini with the best mocha I've ever had! Couldn't resist taking a piece of fresh lemon drizzle cake home with me.. after trying the cake i just had to order my moms birthday cake from the lovely lady Kim! Kim listened to every detail I was after and it was so special, I was so pleased when I went to collect it and everyone at her party loved it! Tudor house is such Lovely change for Tamworth with fabulous art work to admire too!

Popped into the Tudor House Bakery after a stressful day for a spot of respite and a much needed caffeine injection. Everything was perfect, the ambience, service and especially my coffee. The selection of art and gifts also a fantastic addition. I would recommend, will be returning.

Such a great combination: Kim's extensive menu of tasty, reasonably priced food, Sue's amazing paintings and a Tudor building full of character. A visit is highly recommended. I've enjoyed snacks and afternoon tea at the Tudor House Bakery and have never been disappointed. Kim also produces fantastic celebration cakes.

This is the centre of the Tamworth creative quarter, run by Sue and Kim with a flourish of the artistic flavoured with a friendly, local nature. Great food, great company, and then there are the collectibles and art on show

If you love Old worldly & or Art this is the quirky place to go in Tamworth. It's about time we had something more Artistic in Tamworth. Not very noticeable from the outside but very near the Castle. Look for the lovely old Tudor building. Door step bread, huge portions on main meal, enough for two! Lovely teas & coffees and surrounded by Art work which you can watch being painted by one of the owners & there's outside seating at the back. Only been here about 12 months but what a delightful find. Great place for tourists & the more discerning local.
