Odd place. Very much for the local community. Outsiders like us felt ok but a bit out of place where everybody seems to know everybody else. Food was good, nothing special and was quite expensive for basic pub food. The chips were volcano hot and blistered my tongue. All in all it was ok simply to get some grub but probably won't be returning.

Really great local pub. Menu is fab went tonight 2 mains £15 Monday to Thursday 👏 food was fabulous. Followed by 5 games of sticky bingo.

Menu looks 100 times better than the food actually is. The hunters chicken was dry and had a cheese slice on it rather than grated cheese, and the award winning steak and ale pie hadn't been microwaved for long enough because the middle of it was still cold!

This is my local, and I LOVE the coton. Nice pub, nice people, nice staff and a slide outside in the beer garden that my daughter loves.

Julie is a fabulous landlady. She always accommodates my severely sight impaired friend. The food is very well priced, lots of offers. I would definitely recommend The Coton Arms. It is a very welcoming pub, dog friendly too (I have taken my labradoodle). I feel comfortable enough to go in on my own too (I’m a lady in my late 40’s).

Food was very poor and very little of it, Lady serving drinks and food was friendly. We would not recommend at all for food.

Popped in with our kids and dog. Staff our really lovely chatty. If this was an area we was from I do believe we would use it alot more.

I came here to meet a old friend whom I haven't seen in a few months so this pub was a great half way point I ordered the steak as my friend ordered the fish The steak was cooked to perfection to this day I tell everyone how amazing and juicy the steak was... my friends fish was cooked good not too much batter and it was huge but it was affordable amd a very clean pub dog friendly Would like to thank the managers and the chefs for my food it was perfection at its best

Was looking for somewhere to meet my friend and his wife as both of us live complete opposite directions to Tamworth, so googled Place's to eat in the town, we all enjoyed our food, plenty of choice on the menu, nice and fresh and hot and a warm friendly welcome from the staff, we'll definitely be back :)

After seeing various meals being served I decided to indulge in a steak while drinking with my wife. What can I say the young girl Lara who cooked our meal cooked me the best steak (medium) to a t. Both meals mine and my wife's was piping hot and very tasty. A massive thumbs up to Julie and Lara for a wonderful meal and hospitality second to none.

So we decided to have a meal at our local. I had the scampi meal, my husband had the steak. All I can say it was absolutely gorgeous. Husbands steak cooked to perfection and mine was was also perfect. The meals were hot and delicious. Thank you Lara for our lovely meals. We'll definitely be back.....soon

I've recently moved to the area & found this place. Excellent bar staff that are very friendly & welcoming, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a drink or food. Looking forward to my next visit.

Staff and entertainment were brilliant and made the evening but the food was very bad and we had to return two meals because they were inedible. The remaining two were edible but very dry (chicken and beef burger). A shame.

Not been in for several years but upon visiting found decor nice Visit spoiled buy other patrons standing on chairs and rowdyness 14th August saturday

Big thank you to Julie and the team for helping host my partners surprise 50th Birthday party. The area she arranged was perfect and helped recommend suppliers for decorations and music for the evening. Even recommending I do a photo reel for the TVs The buffet was amazing, so tasty and there was so much food, and a lot of home made touches I would recommend The Coton Arms to anyone wanting a drink, meal, game of bingo or a sing along - they have everything Thank you so much ❤️❤️

Called in on the off chance. Friendly enough but the steak we ordered was too tough to even cut with steak knife. Was taken away and cooked more instead of replacing the steak. Not overly impressed.

Over priced, food isn't great. 1 time I came here the wait was so long and the food came out cold and undercooked. Complained so many times in the end we just left. Staff are usually friendly though.

covid restrictions make things very difficult, i went to watch the football and i couldnt really hear it outside as i dont think there allowed to put the volume up too loud due to people shouting and the virus getting us all. was sometimes a wait for drinks to come out but again its not there fault when its a hot day and everybody wants drinks it must be hard the staff where friendly and was doing there best under the circumstances

Came for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. The reviews were promising, so I was looking forward to it. There was nothing on the table to indicate they did starters so we just ordered Sunday lunches. There was only one roast potato. I was quite shocked to see this, one measly roast potato. I’ve never been given just one roaster anywhere else. The veg was undercooked and I could barely cut it. No one asked if we would like desert so I’m presuming there wasn’t any. Not the great dining experience we usually get at the Coton Arms

Excellent pub, great food and lovely beer garden. It's nice to see a genuinely dog friendly pub! I was really concerned about visiting in terms of Covid-19, but they are so well managed in terms of social distancing, definitely worth a visit.

Need to find a chef that can cook steak

A good local place for us , lovely gins . New management so hopefully they will organise some rock music nights as previous ones got customers in . The kids running around out the front is a bit off putting a few near accidents with glasses and smoking right in the door way not good , lots of people complaining about this outside but feels safer here for a drink than in Tamworth town centre when it’s a case of ticking boxes to say they’re dealing well with corona virus 😟

Had lunch on Thursday , first time out since covid. Excellent food and good service. The pub has tried really hard to make the environment safe to visit and gave done a super job. Felt very safe. Menu is reduced but still contains all the favourites and offers. Well worth a visit if you live local. Support your local pub. I'll be back in a couple of weeks for another lunchtime meal.

I visited on a Sunday with my husband and father in law. I had the roast dinner, a mix of beef and turkey (both meats for no extra charge) which was lively with good gravy and homemade yorkie! Hubby had fish and chips and father in law had scampi. Both lovely, gosh especially was the lovely hand battered kind.Great value for money and really lovely staff who can't help enough.We will definitely be coming back with the grandma and nan in tow next time!

Visited midweek with 4 friends. Had booked online & had a courtesy call to confirm the booking, very friendly chap.Food was just lovely....we all tried different things..I had the turkey & ham pie....although a little dry, it was tasty. Couple of the girls had burgers & thoroughly enjoyed them. One had the all-day breakfast & it looked delicious.Puddings were equally yummy.The recent refurb looks great & the staff are very welcoming & friendly.Will definitely return.

Dont expect the rear "fire" door to be unlocked. I have consistently been telling bar staff and the manager over this issue. Its been 8 times now. I am going to call the fire service. Its unacceptable as i had my own shops and was regularly inspected.

Great food this evening at The Coton Arms. I had the fish and chips which was lovely,better than the chippy and my partner had the chicken and ham pie which was also great. Lovely staff too!!!

Had a super family meal here on Christmas Eve and they did us proud The food was delicious Served on hot plates Nothing was too much trouble There was 15 of us and everything came out together

Just had the best steak at the Coton Arms, excellant efficient service and all with a smile, compliments to the new managers!

We went to the coton arms for dinner tonight , the atmosphere and food was very nice , we had a slight issue with one of our meals which was dealt with superbly by the waitress , a full refund was offerd and a drink on the house , so thankyou to the lovely waitress ( sorry I dont no your name )

Visited here again today for lunch, and as usual a 5⭐️ experience. The pub had a full refurbishment earlier in the year, it’s modern, comfortable and welcoming. The food is absolutely fab, always hot, fresh and tasty, with some great lunchtime deals. Ignore any old reviews for this place, this is the best pub round here for miles, and I know, because I’ve tried them all, and this one stands head and shoulders above them all!We’ll be back very soon to try the festive menu.

Lovely friendly pub. The bar facilities are firsr class and the staff are very helpful . We had lunch there which was excellent. Will definitely go there again. Maybe for dinner sometime.
