Lovely staff and amazing food. Sough dough sandwiches were huge and nice side salad and garnish. Dog friendly too Can be missed on side of road, if you are going too fast…so slow down and don’t miss a real treat!

Had a couple of hours child free and came for a bite to eat with my partner at lunch. Both had the fish and chips and it was delicious.... as good as by the seaside! Couldn't have asked for a nicer date setting, not only are the views breathtaking but the staff treated us like old friends and made us feel so welcome!

Called in for a an impromptu Sunday lunch, it didn't disappoint, lots of fresh veg, lovely & hot & yummy gravy. Staff were very friendly & helpful too, would highly recommend a visit

First time having a roast dinner here, would highly recommend the food was excellent and the staff are amazing friendly and very good at there jobs

Good draught beer and great scampi and chips. We could have had pizza from the top of the garden. Unpretentious and friendly.

Good evening overall, the food took far too long to come out. No apology for the delays, if you take a look at your timings you'll see. Steak was lovely and cooked well. Chicken curry was watery, possibly due to too much water left in the rice. Service was spot on and staff very friendly.

We've camped - well, parked the van on the car park - before, but this was the first visit with the new management. They have thought through what's needed for an overnight stay. Nice new sink outside for washing dishes - under cover - and lovely toilet/sink/shower wet room with hot water. All that and great beer too, and the chip van on Friday evening. We've booked for March.

Ordered 2 breakfasts to take away. Got it home and was missing black pudding and mushrooms. What I did have was nice but quite pricy at over £10 each.

Lovely pub, great food, friendly staff. Properly dog-friendly (unlike some places where you’re directed outside, or to a dingy corner,). 100% recommend and we will definitely be back.

We love this pub.Staff are brilliant and make you feel very welcome. My wife and I had Sunday lunch.Plenty of choice on the menu and food was delicious. I’m a big eater but didn’t have room for a pudding 😂. Staff were attentive and very efficient. All in all a great experience we will definitely return. Thank you
