The best restaurants in Great Wyrley Town South Staffordshire West Midlands

We took over this delightful tearoom to celebrate with my niece. It's a very pretty tearoom, which has been beautifully decorated. The afternoon tea was delicious with dainty sandwiches generously filled, lashings of tea and wonderful cakes. The poor owner had been let down and was preparing and serving everything herself. She did a brilliant job. There was plenty of food and we were even able to take sandwiches and cakes away with us. It was a very special afternoon.

Bad food discurtious staff. I will not be going to that so called restaurant again. The attitude of the staff was terrible and no manners

Lovely restaurant, discovered it with some friends and the service was top notch! Definitely recommended and planning to go there again.

Called in for a curry without making a reservation the front of house made me welcome seated me and the wife quickly and attended our requests for drinks. The waiter was really friendly and we struck up conversation about day to day. I have eaten at the Miraj in the past and all the time they seem to be changing the decorations and making improvements and adding to the ambiance and atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to dine. The waiter bought over the menus and we chose our dishes I made a special request for my Chicken Jalfrezi to be cooked in a certain way and the wife had a korma with sides, keema nan. I can honestly say top marks to the chef it was the nicest curry I have had in a while, all presented hot and tasty washed down with a refreshing pint of cobra. The staff were polite and attentive asking how the food was and offering complimentary drinks at the end of the meal. I will definitely be going back for a meal soon and recommend this restaurant for a nice setting and meal.

Been a few times for eat in, also a few times just for collection and not once have they let us down. They can't deliver to us as too far away but we are willing to go and collect as their food is so tasty, and always spot on for taste and heat, ask for MADRAS, you get a madras. Thank you. Had a family meal to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We were a party of eight, even so, we didnt wait too long for our meals. Food was delicious, the portions were extremely generous. The service was very good. Excellent value for money! Will definitely be back. Thank you all 🤗

Visited this for a wake held here. Clean, friendly, very reasonably priced drinks and excellent food served and good quality. The function room we had was very spacious and well laid out

Just moved to the area called in today 9dec at 1pm for some chips they were absolutely disgusting it was just a bag of scratchings Not one whole chip they were cut that thin they were crispy. Won't be going there again.

The new (but previous) managers, Gary and Jo, have done an amazing job since taking back this pub. The fire is lit, the drinks are fresh and the welcome is so, so warm! Daisy the dog is friendly too. Please give it a chance and see what they’ve done with it, you won’t be disappointed!

It's generally a fairly quiet pub, great for a quiet night out but kind of a shame because people are missing out. The food is amazing, one of the best for a steak or burgers it's made with love, low price for high quality, can't knock it.
