i went in with my wife and mom in law xmas staff n owner were brill felt relaxed so we're going new years eve great pub

Very friendly and welcoming staff Abit small but cheap and good tasting lagers and a wide range selection of spirits and ales even stouts, would deffinatly recommend with the weekly entertainment fridays and Saturdays, will be returning 💯

Went in for the first time having lived in the area for a few years. I use the neighbouring pubs fairly frequently but always gave the swan a miss because of the irregular opening times and constant opening and closing down that made it uninviting. Not using this pub was a big mistake and I was pleasantly surprised to find an old time boozer that has loads of character and a good atmosphere. The sofas and decorative furniture in the back room gives a homely feel and the landlord was very friendly and welcoming. The prices were fantastic compared to the other pubs in vicinity and the pint was quality. I'm not a regular reviewer but had to drop one for this. Support your local pubs! The swan is definitely now firmly on my itinerary in the wyrley pub crawl.

Great lil village pub dj was on form tonight had the place jumping with a banging selection of tunes . Enter as strangers leave as friends 🧡

The new (but previous) managers, Gary and Jo, have done an amazing job since taking back this pub. The fire is lit, the drinks are fresh and the welcome is so, so warm! Daisy the dog is friendly too. Please give it a chance and see what they’ve done with it, you won’t be disappointed!

Reopened by Gary and Jo who had it before covid well worth a visit very pleasant surroundings real ale pub give it a try.

Key pad on door so only those in the know were obviously being admitted. ALL doors closed, but about 50 people inside. I'd travelled up from London to visit as it's in the CAMRA good beer guide, but I won't bother again.

Not the best staff was friendly enough but the place itself is a mess needs a lot of TLC from the outside it looks terrible, weeds all over the place dirty Brocken windows, just not very inviting

Proper local boozer, no frills or gimmicks, it's clean and tidy with good beer, for decent money, hosts are friendly, no loud music so you can have a conversation if you want one

Not been in for years but Friday night and there's karaoke.. Great night was had by all definitely go again friendly owner and bar staff and very reasonable prices..
