It was absolutely beautiful food it was out of this world, service was good. Traditional italian food was awesome.

Weeks ago, I visited the restaurant in person to make a booking for 28 people. This was for a 60th birthday family celebration on Easter Sunday. We specifically chose a time that we were told best suited the restaurant. On the strength of the booking, family members who were travelling from various parts of the country made hotel reservations for the evening, etc. 4 weeks before the event, I received a call and was told that the owner had “decided not to open” on the date of the booking and that my reservation was cancelled. I explained the position, to no avail whatsoever. How on earth does he expect me to make a reservation for a table of this size elsewhere at such short notice for Easter Sunday? They have ruined carefully made plans (and a lot of expense) without a care in the world and have left me scrabbling around trying to find somewhere else to accommodate us, which is proving impossible. I don’t think I have ever come across worst customer service in all my years. We have been regulars at this restaurant, as have some of my family members who live locally. I will never set foot in there again, nor recommend it to anyone else. This is an abysmal way to treat previously loyal customers and tells me everything I need to know about their complete lack of respect or empathy for their customers. Shameful.

Calamari was like rubber bands, spaghetti carbonara was swimming in cream and pancetta was tough.

What a hidden gem. A really authentic Italian meal discussed in the depths of Landywood. The whole vibe made me want to return for a fantastic meal. All is very good.

This was a lovely early weekend treat. Just what my friend and l needed, has a little pick me up. The food was so delicious and plenty of it. I highly recommend a visit.

If it was possible to give this place more than five stars I would. Everything about the place is outstanding. Food, service, atmosphere. Reasonably priced and easy to get to. Like Italian? You have to visit. We've already booked to go again.

A Hidden Gem: Perfection ! We stumbled upon Cucina Unica without a booking, and to our delight, they warmly welcomed us in. From the very beginning, their hospitality was outstanding. The team was incredibly accommodating, making us feel completely at ease despite the last-minute nature of our visit. Now, onto the food—absolute perfection! Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic Italian flavors and presented beautifully. The care and passion they put into every bite truly stood out. It was, without exaggeration, a solid 10/10. The service was impeccable, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. What impressed us even more was their refusal to impose a service charge, even though they deserved every penny and then some!. Cucina Unica isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. We left with full hearts, satisfied palates, and a promise to return again soon. Highly recommended!

first time visiting after being recommended by a friend. atmosphere was great, staff really friendly and the food delicious. was my sons birthday and everyone sang happy birthday whilst they brought out a complimentary slice of cake. made the meal all that little bit extra special. thank you. We had a wonderful evening last night The staff and manageress on duty where amazing, we were celebrating my mothers birthday and husbands birthday, and everything was perfect, There was a slight mistake with the food but it was rectified very quickly, We work in the industry ourselves and we now the pressure on big tables can give the staff, but you guys smashed it . My husbands meal was very good, however, my Schnitzel was the thinist slice you could find, more breading than meat. Definitely NOT WORTH the cost of this meal!!!!! This is the 3rd time I had one in the past 18 months, and the first one was the best. However, I doubt after this experience that we will go there again !!!!! THIS is WHAT I HAD ...... We have just left cucina Unica and oh my word, what an amazing place! The food was absolutely first class and the service was amazing!!! If I could have given 10 stars I would have! Just wished I hadn't have said it was my birthday (I was soooo embarrassed) but the cheesecake was to die for! Thank you for making a difficult birthday really special....we will be back!

Our favourite occasion restaurant! There was 11 of us on our last visit and we are always treated well and service is always reasonably quick considering how good the quality of the food is. The food is always soo fresh and tasty. The service is always good. It does get busy so would recommend booking as it is a small restaurant but definitely has a lot of character

Went on Bank Holiday Sunday at 6:30, food was fresh, tasty and a good quantity. Great cocktails too. Service was friendly well trained and not intrusive at all. Menu is quite diverse and the food was served in a good amount of time. A local gem, good atmosphere, quite busy but this didn't hurt the service. I would recommend booking first using the online service. Definitely one to try. Will go again

Takes for ever then the food isn't cooked and I could not make a book online they hang up so when I go it's full then when I come back another day it takes forever and then the food is terrible

Don't let the name put you off.This place is more than just Pizza.Plenty of variety.I must admit though. I did have a Pizza.I had the Quattro Formaggio. (4Cheeses).It was the best Pizza, I have had in a long time.Other dishes we had included Chicken,Lasagne & Carbonara.All cooked to perfection.We shall definitely be returning here in the future.My only small gripe would be,the times available.6.30 or 8.00 on a Saturday.Not good enough.

We were warmly greeted and seated in this lovely restaurant. The staff were very friendly and quick in getting us drinks sorted and unobtrusiveley checking on us every now and then. The food was excellent in quality and servings, i admit i couldn't finish my plate which is a shame considering how good it was. The atmosphere was wonderful and friendly, a little lively as well. A big thank you to Ardit for making us feel very welcome. I recommend trying this establishment out.

Well where do I begin? Absolutely fantastic food all round Lovely drinks and fantastic service I class myself as a carbonara expert and it’s safe to say this carbonara is top of the list so far. Attended a 30th here with a large party, had to pre-order food, which was a bit odd. The food was nice but not exceptional. it was quite expensive too. Would eat here again but a bit far for me when there are better locally.

Really good, I mean really good. The seafood I had was very fresh and the meal was stunning. All the staff work hard to please every table and there was lots of partying groups. I will go again!

We ordered from their pretty extensive takeaway menu which included a good value for money meal deal. We were told that our food would be 15 minutes. We arrived in good time and our food was ready. The staff were really friendly and polite. On getting home the order was as per our order, as you'd expect. The food was well packaged, so no spillages. We had two starters, two mains and a calzone pizza; all within the family meal deal coming in at just under £33. Good value for money. All freshly prepared and still nice & hot when we got home. The food was very good. When we visit our good friends I'm sure that we'll eat here again. The restaurant was well decorated, there were several Christmas parties and the atmosphere appeared very good. Maybe next time we'll eat in 👍. No photos on this occasion. Too busy eating 😀. What an amazing place, honestly thought I was in Italy, cute traditional decor created a lovely atmosphere, service was amazing, we were a huge party who preordered and the gap between first and last meal was small all things considered! Food tasted homemade and authentic, lots of flavour and really reasonably priced! Definitely coming back!
