Vintage Tea Room at No 3 in South Staffordshire

We took over this delightful tearoom to celebrate with my niece. It's a very pretty tearoom, which has been beautifully decorated. The afternoon tea was delicious with dainty sandwiches generously filled, lashings of tea and wonderful cakes. The poor owner had been let down and was preparing and serving everything herself. She did a brilliant job. There was plenty of food and we were even able to take sandwiches and cakes away with us. It was a very special afternoon.

They adapted the sandwiches to suit my friend. Cakes and sandwiches were all lovely and we even took some home in a goody bag. My friend particularly liked the mini victoria sponges. The flute of orange juice was also a nice touch. Staff were more than helpful and we weren't rushed and sat and chatted. A lovely birthday for my friend.

We love visiting here. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is fresh and tasty. Staff are always accommodating and the Afternoon Tea is spot on. We always come away with cake as we are so full up from the sandwiches.

I took my mam here for mother’s Day, I called in a couple of days earlier to say it was a surprise and drop a bottle of Prosecco off, the day we arrived the table was all set out and it was amazing my mam loved every minute! The sandwiches were lovely and we were asked if we wanted more throughout our visit, cakes and scones were to die for and again more was on offer I paid £14 per person and it was fab would deffo recommend!

I took my mom and dad for their wedding anniversary and they loved it. The staff were great, service was exceptional and the food was brilliant. It is the best selection of sandwiches I have had on an afternoon tea and the cakes were simply delicious. Would highly recommend.

This is my favourite place to bring the kiddies. Always excellent service and laid back atmosphere makes you feel at ease taking the children for a cake. I always have a chicken and bacon salad. My daughter has been allergic to dairy for s long time and they always keep dairy free cupcakes for our visits. Very good value for money highly recommend.

Thank you for the brilliant tea party for Mollie's 5th birthday. She had lots of fun and so did her friends. The food was really good and the table was beautifully laid. Highly recommend. We were asked if we wanted more sandwiches which were freshly made, we were able to have our own music for the party and bring some balloons and a banner. Absolutely brilliant service :)

I booked a private hire on a Sunday afternoon for afternoon tea for 15 people for my daughter's birthday. The whole experience from initial contact to leaving on day was first class Nothing was to much trouble, toys for children to play with, excellent service by the ladies. First class food, they also made the birthday cake. It was a very hot day but lovely and cool inside. They made sure everyone was catered for even doing jam sandwich for the 18mth old We was even given paper bags to take the lefts overs home. After a very difficult couple of weeks it was brilliant place to relax and enjoy the day

Visited today for the first time with family for my sons birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the shop is beautifully decorated.The food was amazing and great quality. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend 5🌟

Don’t let the rather stark outside of No 3 put you off the wonderful delights that await you inside. We had an afternoon tea which was full of flavour and beautifully presented. We were made to feel most welcome on a miserable rainy day and enjoyed an unrushed couple of hours. The pots of tea that accompanied the wonderful sandwiches and cakes had flavour and strength. Made sure we booked well in advance to avoid dissappointment of last year - 5 adults 2 children went for Nannie’s birthday good ambience children welcome service excellent and matched with ample supplies of fresh and varied sandwiches topped off with delicious Home makes cakes.

This was my second visit for afternoon tea and it was as good as the first. The place is a quaint little tea room and everything is served in/ on china that doesn't match. The sandwiches have loads of filling - tuna and sweetcorn , beef with caramelised onion chutney, ham , cheese, chicken and bacon all served on the softest white and brown bread. We were asked twice if we would like any more sandwiches - a lovely touch much appreciated. Served with a choice of tea, coffee or both followed by a delicious selection of cakes, some of which we had to take home as we couldn't manage them all. A lovely way to spend 2 hours with a friend. Thank you Baked at No 3 it was lovely.

A group of 6 of us came here for a colleague's retirement "do". I'd been before for a cream tea but the afternoon tea would take some beating. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes, all freshly made. I couldn't eat all of my cakes but the lemon cake and victoria sandwich were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Had afternoon tea bought for me as a gift and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The room is very quaint with flowery plastic table cloths and non matching china with fab teapots that actually pour without dripping!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The sandwiches had loads of filling and we were asked if we would like any more. After sandwiches and an extra pot of tea came the cakes!! Three pots of tea later and after a time elapse of 2 hours we had finally managed to work our way through everything -five different types of sandwiches and five cakes -great value and a lovely experience. Would I come back? I certainly would though my waistline will object if it's too often. Highly recommend this little tea room.

My husband and I went for afternoon tea on a Saturday afternoon.

Pedimos una porción de esponja victoria, pero me pareció muy seco, con mucho azúcar y grasa no es suficiente. Su esponja tiene que ser húmedo! Volveré a probar algo más en el futuro.

Limpio, agradable, encantador lugar para comer. Le espera una cálida bienvenida y la comida está recién hecha y de calidad superior. Tartas caseras para morirse y podrá relajarse en esta joya de un salón de té. Altamente recomendado.

Hoy por la tarde visitamos el té todo lo que puedo decir es perfecto, los bocadillos y pasteles son para morirse (nunca había probado un pastel de limón parecido). Nada es demasiado apuro para el personal y el entorno son fabulosas. Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita a este fabuloso lugar.

Fui con mi amigo reservado el té de la tarde. Salón de té con una decoración preciosa muy bonita. El personal es muy acogedor y nos mostró directamente a nuestra mesa en la ventana. La comida era deliciosa, buena selección de sandwiches y nos preguntaron si queríamos más! ! Pasteles eran sabrosa y abundante té y café. Una experiencia muy agradable y disfrutamos tanto por nosotros..

Acabo de regresar después de té de la tarde con mi marido, mi madre y padre - Ley de ley. Wow fantástico. Primero los bocadillos salió (5 tipos) todos deliciosos. Nos ofrecieron más y mi marido tenía extra pequeños. Luego seguimos los bollos y pasteles. Los bollos eran más pequeñas de lo habitual, que era agradable, ya que significaba que había que comer todos los pasteles. Las tartas eran increíbles! ! La tarta de limón llovizna era para morirse, así húmeda y ligera. Pequeños detalles eran patatas fritas eran en una taza y pop rosa frambuesa en la mesa en pequeñas botellas. El servicio era excelente y nos dijeron a preguntar si queríamos más de nada. Coombe Abbey ha sido siempre nuestro lugar favorito para el té de la tarde, pero no ahora. Sin duda volveremos y recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y familia. Gracias xx

I visited with my wife and two young children for afternoon tea but we have been here many times before. It's a lovely little tea room, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is always delicious and the decor is very vintage. It's a lovely little place and I would highly recommend this tea room to anyone.

Fabulous family run little gem of a tea shop! Amazing cakes and the carrot cake's to die for! Delicious sandwiches, can highly recommend the cheese and onion toastie with homemade coleslaw. Everything is lush and nothing is too much trouble, and it's all served with a smile. Cracking place to visit and the best cream teas around.

Brilliant afternoon out here for my daughters 10th bday.We had a table of 4 for the girls and they loved it Lots of food / snacks / and endless drinks included in the price.I ordered a cheese sandwich and was lovely loads of cheese and homemade coleslaw !!! Massive plate of food great value - very reasonably priced !!!The only thing I could fault was the bread on which my sandwich was served ... Standard white bread where I would have liked a little more fresh / upmarket bread if that makes sense, only a small thing Overall excellent and would go again !

Lovely little Tea Shop, with eccentric décor, friendly helpful staff.Menu ranges from Sandwiches, Paninis etc to full afternoon tea, and children's menu. All reasonably priced.Fabulous food and cakes with lovely little added touches is what makes this place so special. Definitely worth a visit.

If you have tried other tea for two , then try this one , its up there with the best , not to big of a place , but all your needs are met

My friend treated me to coffee and cake for my birthday. The brownie was to die for! All gooey in the middle like a brownie should be. Cappuccinos are nice and frothy. I have visited 3 times now. The cream teas are also lovely. Light warm scones with jam and clotted cream. Just what Great Wyrley needs.

I went here for cream tea with some friend it was beautiful. Nice clean shop and friendly staff. The spread is fantastic a whole array of sandwiches and cakes plenty of tea and coffee. Good value for money. The food without having cream tea looked lovely

I wanted to take my mother for afternoon tea somewhere that was individual rather than corporate and really felt this place was perfect. The food was lovely and plentiful, cakes beautifully made and delicious and the tea just kept coming. My mother loved the all the mis-matched china and just the overall decoration and ambiance of the place. All in all a wonderful place to have afternoon tea (I think they also do snacks and soups etc.). The only issue I would highlight is to book quick as I booked in February and the first available Saturday they had a table for three was in June.

Visited here for my birthday with my sister and absolutely loved it! We had the afternoon tea, my partner had booked this for me and had requested gluten and dairy free as I'm intolerant to both. Usually this isn't catered for in some places but this place went the extra mile and provided amazing food! I was so happy I got to eat proper cake and sandwiches and you couldn't even tell that they were free from, but they most certainly were!!The service was very friendly, and we were looked after very well! I enjoyed it so much that we have booked in to come again in a few weeks! The place looks amazing also, and very clean!

Went for afternoon tea earlier this week. I have been to quite a few other afternoon teas Wolverhampton way and was slightly disappointed. The food was lovely and the sandwiches were the best choices I have had for an afternoon tea but was really disappointed with the cakes. Other afternoon teas give you a big scone where as here the scone was very small and quite dry. The other cakes were a tiny bit of brownie and lemon cake and a little cupcake and meringue. Comparing to the pictures on here of some of the afternoon teas I feel like we had very little cake. Maybe they just didn't have much cake left but as it was pre booked you would have thought they would save some. The tea shop itself was lovely, but just felt let down with the amount of cake we had means it was an afternoon tea. I probably wouldn't return for afternoon tea but just tea and cake for a nice big slice of cake!

The staff here ar extremely friendly and helpful and genuinely care that you are made welcome and well looked after. The food is lovely and beautifully presented. Definitely worth spending a couple of hours here with a friend and a pot of tea and some cake to put the world to rights.

Had a wonderful tea party with 8 children to celebrate a birthday. China cups, saucers and plates with drinks poured from China teapots. The amount of food - sandwiches, savouries, biscuits, cup cakes - was amazing. All freshly prepared. The children loved it. An area is set aside for activities. Will have to try an afternoon tea for grown ups if we can get in! There is a very relaxing atmosphere and staff are very friendly with nothing being too much trouble.

I went here on Wednesday 3rd February . With four friends . I retired in December and this was a late celebration with them. It was wonderful. The setting inside is so lovely. The table was all set ready for us. The food just kept coming and coming. Everything was so fresh. Tea and coffee pots were constantly topped up. And we stayed two and a half hours just eating and chatting. The staff were lovely. I'm going to be recommending this place to everyone. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch.

I took my 4 year old for lunch and she had a meal deal with a sandwich, drink, and cake, which was a reasonable price. I had a sandwich with crisps and side salad , which filled me up. There were some lovely cakes on display so I brought a few to take out. Staff were very nice and service was excellent. Place is tidy and nicely set up. It's ashame it can't be in a bigger location as I'm sure they would fill the place up. Everyone always has a good word to say about vintage tea room and I will now back them up.

Tea shop is very lovely highly decorated, tables had been booked however there was still tables available, good service however one lady was very busy with phone calls and you could hear her convocations, maybe she could take her phone calls else wear to not interrupt customers, however food was great and was able to take cakes away

My first ever afternoon tea was at the Vintage tea room today. I didn't really know what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful food in pleasant surroundings. Looking forward to a further visit.

Had a lovely afternoon tea today celebrating my daughters 40th birthday we had just found out my granddaughter is lactose intolerant so vintage teas went above and beyond to cater for her as well and gave us some useful tips. The attention to detail of the balloon and candles was a real lovely touch and the sandwiches and cakes were fabulous, we all thoroughly enjoyed it thanks very much we will certainly be returning very soon

Everything was ok. Only faults were, I found a chip in my cup and there weren't much atmosphere. Room for improvement.

From the moment I stepped through the door I was amazed. The tearoom was fabulous! The tables were decorated with absolute perfection and the food looked delicious and it tasted it. My 6 friends ate all they could eat ( and that's a lot) but they still provided more. One of the staff did all of our nails. The nails looked lovely. I would definitely go again. My mom and dad really enjoyed their afternoon tea thoroughly as well. Thanks Mandy for making my birthday really special and memorable. Xxx

I booked afternoon tea here as a treat for my birthday with my husband and 1-year old daughter. It's not what you'd expect in this almost random location, but the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Family friendly with plenty of high-chairs.Good selection of sandwiches and seconds of the ones we particularly liked, the pink lemonade was a lovely touch, as were the special crisps in a cup especially for our daughter. Cakes were also tasty - but the box to take leftovers home proved very useful!I'm just waiting for another excuse to go again!

Lovely place, excellent service and great food. The room is interesting with a lot of items the owner has collected. The food is fresh and yummy. Our dietary needs were very well catered for. The cakes were delicious.

We held our granddaughters 8th birthday party here for a few girls. It was stunning. The tables were decorated with vintage teddy a on to join in the party. The plates cups etc were china yet even the 2 year olds were able to dring and eat off them without any concerns from the wonderful owner and staff. The decor the whole place was amazing. I met two mature people leaving as I arrived and they told me how wonderful their experience was. The sandwiches the cakes all fresh and yummy, no holding back on the fillings or quantity.

Delightful little tea room. Tea and coffees are very good, and on my latest visit, with a friend, we both tried the tuna Toasties rather than indulging in a cake. Totally yummy!

Visited this tea room today with my hidden and our friends kids enjoyed a teddy bears picnic which was finger sandwiches of ham and cheese biscuits cupcakes crisps and sweets all the children really enjoyed it and each decorated a cake which was fun. I had chicken salad the chicken was proper chicken breast and a salad lo Ely and fresh I also had the galaxy cake which is lovely and the frosted cupcakes are my favourite nice pleasent outing would go again

I had been wanting to visit this tearoom for a long time and luckily got to visit one beautiful summers day.The tearoom itself is all things vintage, really homely and welcoming inside.There is a nice selection of cakes however they were all really flat looking and did not look well risen like most cakes should be. Therefore I opted for the millionaires shortbread which was just alright.This place will definitely not be winning the great british bake off but it is a nice setting and my coffee was nice.

Gorgeous food, very generous portions and great value for money. Tea room is also decorated beautifully with quirky plates etc. What was left over was put in boxes for us to bring home. The staff couldn't be more help. Can highly recommend the Afternoon Tea. Can't wait to visit again.

I was with a table of 5 and the tea room had been recommended by 2 members of the party who had been here before. The tea room is small and the food is freshly prepared when you order but you still didn't have to wait too long. I had the tuna melt sandwich which comes with a side salad, crisps and delicious home made coleslaw. I also tried some of their handmade sausage rolls which another member of the party had ordered and then decided they were being too greedy!! This was also delicious. We rounded the meal off with a delicious slice of chocolate cake and single cream. As well as the food I had a cup of tea and a diet coke and the whole bill for me came to less than £8 - an absolute bargain. I will definitely be going back as I want to try the afternoon tea packages. You do need to book so if you are considering this then you will need to phone ahead.

What can I say about Mandy York and her team , they are amazing food is just to die for and the the place is beautiful , we ask Mandy to do an anniversary meal for my mother-in-law which they don't normally do so already a big ☆ from us ,and they just made the afternoon so special for us all we couldn't thank them enough and another thing is nothing is to much trouble ,we had to have diary free ,gluten free ,but these were all catered for with no problems, they really are a wonderful family and team

This was a small gathering for friends and family. We all had afternoon tea, which was divine and great value for money. The sandwiches were lovely and so were the delicious cakes. There was so much food, and they gave us little boxes to take the remaining food home. The staff were very friendly. The decor and atmosphere was also great. Will definitely be returning.

Fab place for lunch and afternoon tea... The staff were prepared to something for me that wasn't even on the menu!!!! Very child friendly and the picnic hampers are amazing lots of choice and fab little touches.

Took my Sister in Law for her birthday. Decorated beautifully. Lovely atmosphere, but the food is amazing. Pink lemonade a lovely touch. We had afternoon tea which you need to book. Everything was just perfect. Homemade cakes wonderful. Too much for us to finish but we were given takeaway boxes so nothing wasted. Can't wait to go again for my birthday treat. Looking forward to trying the picnic hampers in the summer.

Love this place, its in my home town. Its girly, vintagey and child friendly. The cakes are amazing and I love the onion tart. It provides books, toys, taller chairs and high chairs for children. Haven't had the afternoon tea yet but it looks lovely. Regular visitor. Booking advisable.

Came for the 1st time today for my daughters birthday and what can I say. The place is beautiful and really goes all out with the vintage tea style. My daughters birthday table was beautifully set up with finger sandwiches, cakes and snacks. Each place setting had their own vintage tea cup and saucer with pink lemonade and squash served in little tea pots. The room is quite small with only a few tables but that really adds to the atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back

Visited here today for my birthday with my daughter and granddaughters for lunch this time very reasonably priced food gorgeous and if you want to really spoil yourself they do the most fabulous afternoon teas with sandwiches and cakes of every type. We had a toasted sandwich and cake and tea this time but we shall definitely return a little gem.
