An absolute gem quietly tucked away in Oldswinford. Lunch options are fresh/home cooked, generous and delicious. Jerk chicken, curried mutton and chicken curry are regular choices. Vera and the team also organised the catering for my 50th Birthday last year. It made the day and I still get comments now from friends who say it was the best birthday catering food they had ever tasted. Give this great little business a try…. you won’t be disappointed!

We have been to sohas a few times now and the food has always been lovely , fresh , hot and extremely good value for money. The staff are very friendly and you can take your own drinks will definitely be going again.

Good food. But no atmosphere and indifferent service. It's a shame as there are so few places locally. Maybe give it a go anyway.

Great first visit, good value and plenty to choose from. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. Lovely stop pre or post park walk.

My Dad & I brought my Mum the Crabmill for lunch following stopping off for a drink at The Greene King pub after a days fishing. For starters, I had the King Prawns & Chorizo. My food was hot, the bravas sauce brought out the flavour of the chorizo. My Mum had the Salt & Pepper Squid. For mains, I had the Chicken & Pulled Ham Pie and my dad had the Beef & Ale Pie. Our pies were tasty with decent sized chunks of meat. For her main course, my Mum ordered the Salmon & Vintage Cheddar Fish Cakes, which she said were delicious. The Crabmill bar is well stocked and offers a great range of guest ales and Lilley's ciders amongst other drinks. With my meal, had a pint of Alpha Stout (Wolfpack) followed by a bottle of Belhaven Black (Belhaven). The Greene King pub is a former doctors house with a very interesting history - well worth a read. This pub is in a ideal location on the Hagley road with a great range of real ale pubs in walking distance. I will definitely be coming back here again.

great takeaway the food is always great but for me it's the guys running the place, very friendly and welcoming. the prices are fantastic as they haven't used cost of living to raise them massively which I believe is worth you thinking before ordering McDonald's.. support a local family run takeaway order from Sizzlers instead 🫡

My takeaway was disgusting , never ordering again or visiting the restaurant. The staff was rude to my family who tried to book for 7pm Friday , was told it's only 6 and 8pm Only and we have been regulars for years before meathead was even running the place. No wonder the place is empty

Great lunch and pint ....so sad it's another pub now gone .... Will be missed turning into a old people's home unfortunately so snooker club is the closest drink now for locals .☹️

This is the first time,but not the last that ive tried this take away chinese. ITS EXCELLENT! Very friendly staff,super menu,great delivery service but most of all VERY tssty food,good portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Simply asked for battered chips and a pukka pie. Got responded to nicely as they were out of pukka pies. So I changed to a bettered sausage. (I was mainly looking forward to the battered chips) Then they made my order with normal chips and didn't bother to tell me they were out until after charging me. I think they only hire staff that dropped out of school.

Came for our lunch break from work, always love the food, great drink selection and the service. A visually impaired man and his guide dog came in, the staff were fantastic! They came to take his order from his table and the one member of staff, in particular, explained the menu to him and clearly made him very comfortable. Lovely heartwarming moment 🤍
