Went for my birthday as just wanted a local good meal & the crabmill was recommended great value superb menu & both myself & my husband loved the food we will definitely be returning again & have already recommend to other friends

Went for Christmas Day , poor quality food and chaotic service although the staff were pleasant and polite. They totally got our orders mixed up and even tried to remove our starters when we were halfway through them insisting they weren’t what we ordered. The turkey dinner was abysmal, poorly cooked vegetables, and looked like it was just thrown onto the plate. Won’t be returning.

fabulous Food, Great Atmosphere and Attentive Service. the Crabmill was very busy, which is lovely to see, we were told food would be a out 40 minutes, which wasn't an issue, we were offered drinks immediately. Our food wait was about 30 minutes, the food was hot and fresh on arrival and was very enjoyable. will definitely return.

We are a family of four regulars and can thoroughly recommend The Crabmill. Great quality food, reasonable prices and varied menu.

The Crabmill is a great pub/restaurant, I don't normally like 'chain' places, but this place is very good. Considering they keep their staffing levels very low, the service was very Good and appeared well organised. The menu choices are good, something to suit most people, good value for money and Good portion sizes. I love the decor of the pub with old pictures of the area. The place gets very busy so I would advise to book ahead.

We ate here recently having pre booked a table. There was only one chef on duty but this was communicated on arrival. Staff kept us informed of waits and made sure the kids in the party were served first. The food was a really good standard and staff went above and beyond by providing the kids with a small gift as an acknowledgement of the wait which was well received by the kids! Thank you and compliments to the chef and team 😁

There with family service was terrible it took over 3 hours to have lunch we were waiting an hour between courses had to keep asking where our food was.

Staff friendly and welcoming, busy night but served in an acceptable amount of time- only one person serving. Not rushed to make food decisions, again prepared to wait that little longer than usual as very busy night. Food was absolutely beautiful 😍, one of those meals you don't want to end 😋. Only 2 of us so on a smaller table which was fine, only thing was it was situated by the pc/ cutlery station so felt a little exposed and in the way. There were some tables that were empty during our time spent there, in a more suitable place which would have been nicer. We didn't query to be moved as thought these were probably reserved for other customers. On the whole though a very enjoyable visit as always, such a lovely atmosphere and comfortable place to visit.

Lovely meal with friends at this friendly pub. Must mention our waitress, Ellie of the Eyelashes, who dealt with our party of 15 almost single-handed, with efficiency and cheerful good-humour.

Myself and my colleagues took 7 people we support for lunch. Everyone had an amazing time, and Sam went above and beyond for us. Fantastic service from start to finish! Thank you so much.

We absolutely love coming here and will continue to time and time again! Food and service is top quality. Superb 'pub' atmosphere, complementary to the food quality.

Had a great Christmas catch up with friends at the Crabmill. The Christmas Fayre meal was delicious and great value for money. The staff went over and above, they were friendly and attentive even though they were super busy. A special thank you to Nat, Ellie, Dave & Neil who made our night so enjoyable.

The staff here are great and the food is good value. The place was very busy when going and staff rushed off their feet. Overall it's clean and decent for a reasonably priced meal out.

Good place to meet family for lunch

We dined as a party of 12 on Saturday for my husbands 40th birthday meal. We couldn’t give a better review if we tried. The staff were absolutely amazing, the service was brilliant and even though there was a 1hr wait for food it wasn’t as long. The food we received was hot & everyone commented how lovely it was. Thank you so much, you did a fantastic job!

Only one person serving today but she did an excellent job.

The only things is The coffee is not hot enough . Every food alright and the staffs are nice.

Had a fantastic Saturday lunchtime. Four adults and a baby Jude . Great table out of the way , highchair available. Food was great as was the service , really enjoyable

First visit and I can't actually comment on anything because we never received our food. We arrived at 12.40 and had a long wait to order and pay at the bar. Then, still waiting for our first course until 1.25, (seeing everyone else being served) we asked for our money back. As we had ordered a starter of soup, which didn't appear, we thought the following fish and chips probably wouldn't arrive this side of midnight and we had to be elsewhere. No explanation as to why it was taking so long, even after asking, maybe short-staffed, who knows? No apology..nothing. Oh well, put it down to experience.

Today I went to queue at the bar to place my order and there was only me and an elderly chap. As time went on, other customers had joined the queue. Once the member of staff had finished, she completely ignored me and started to serve another customer when she clearly acknowledged me earlier. Thankfully the customer told her I was in front. She did not apologise for her mistake and the way I was treated I honestly felt like if I was a certain ethnicity I would have been treated differently. very unprofessional. I was going to flag this issue with management but I was very angry. The lady was in her 40s-50s in a green top. If I didn’t have my children with me I would have walked out. However the food was very good and the rest of the staff were lovely.

We went for lunch for the wife's birthday, granted, it was a week day but was full of OAP's which is fine but hence low score on atmosphere. We both ordered steak, my wife - rare which came out medium and mine - medium rare which came out well done. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, we were offered 2 drinks on the house. I would have let it go without saying but the meals were not exactly cheap so I think they could at least cook the steak to your liking or just don't bother asking how you like it cooked!

Lovely food and great service despite being busy.

Love the food love the atmosphere. Never had a bad meal or complaint. I mostly wanted to leave a review to praise the two young waitresses running the restaurant. Both served us the evening of 23/10/24. The restaurant was heaving and they were rushed off their feet but these 2 staff were running the floor like it was easy. Nothing was too much trouble and every request was done straight away. They didn't forget anything and they had such a lovely attitude. I can't praise them enough.

Booked in for a relaxed birthday meal. That’s exactly how it went - relaxed, friendly and excellent service from both Em and Elle. They looked after us so well without any fuss or bother. Food was great and very good value and such a good choice of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. It ticked all of our boxes for that particular night.

Just had a lovely meal for a family birthday. Our waitress Natalie was lovely, service with a smile all evening despite how busy she was, also managed to find some candles for the cake that I forgot. Food was excellent and very good value for money. Thank you, I will definitely be back.

Another lovely meal at the crabmill. Staff always make you feel welcome and on this visit Ben R and the other waiter also called Ben had put a birthday sign on our table and a candle in our cheesecakes and even sang happy birthday to us lol. What a lovely touch and we both appreciated it as was a joint birthday celebration. Food was excellent compliments to Dave the chef. Thanks to you all we had a great night. I always recommend this place to friends.

The 3* I was only in for a drink in bar area I thought pricey for a Guinness and non alcoholic drink. Busy to get served with both dining and drinks at same bar.

Food good but despite booking shoved in dark corner. When we raised point it was dismissed. Despite being one of first people in pub we were not allowed to move table we had been allocated. We have been going to pub for years and never treated like this before.

We love the Crabmill, it’s a really nice pub with great staff- which isn’t always true in a chain! Good seating, reasonable menu, great selection of drinks. Plus they stock Desperados

This was our third visit to the Crabmill. We both decided on the Sunday roast of Turkey and veg, after a 40 minute wait, which I thought was to long being the place looked empty to me. When the food came it did look very nice and the vegetables were but that’s about it the meat was tasteless,slimy and mush in the mouth. I later found out when talking to the waitress that the turkey crowns are brought in cooked for them to slice and warm up. This is not good enough when paying £13.99 per meal, not happy about our choice of place for our anniversary meal.

Friendly welcome and seated quickly. Our drinks order was taken and delivered fairly quickly. After a brief wait our food order was taken - a sharing starter and main meal each. The starter arrived quickly however we did wait some time for our main which wasn’t too much of an issue as some places are bringing your main out before you’ve even finished your starter. My order of salmon fish cakes was slightly over cooked as the fish didn’t fall apart as expected and was a little dry and the poached egg was overcooked with no runny yolk. My husband’s steak which should have been medium rare was more medium cooked but was still enjoyable. After our plates were cleared the waitress gave us the chalk board with the dessert menu on as we had already expressed we wanted a dessert. This was the last we saw of her. We waited a good 15+ minutes for someone to take our order then gave up! We paid the bill and left. We will return but think a little more attention is needed to the tables by staff.

Lovely meal tonight, me and a friend had Katsu chicken with rice and chips, 1 friend had gammon, egg, pineapple, chios and peas and another the fish n chips. Lovely, would highly recommend

I have never been to this pub, I was looking for somewhere to eat before an appointment nearby. The staff were very pleasant and polite, I chose the vegan katsu curry and some rosemary foccacia bread. The food was very hot and fresh and i didn't have a long wait.I really really enjoyed my food. I love a katsu curry and this one was delicious. Thank you so much to the lovely staff for their kind service. I will gladly be back..

Just had lunch (3 adults and 2 children) service was exceptional. Wait staff were very attentive and happy to give recommendations. Food was phenomenal. This was our first visit but definitely will not be our last .

I had a burger. Tad overdone was still delishio can't blame no one, if I wanted any other way I should have stated that when I made my order, which I didn't. Will be going back. Broad spectrum of drinks that WILL quench your thirst, also your reality. I actually enjoyed the brand of cider there, think it was called Lucy. Nice place, love where it's located, loved the service. Tried to look for the bar staff and chef before I left, to show appreciation. This place won't dissapoint. Top score from me.

Went for a birthday meal and everything was fine until the food came. My wife ordered the gammon and when it was placed in front of her, she noticed a long blonde hair on the gammon. We told the waitress who apologised and it was replaced, but while she was waiting for the replacement meal, we ate our food. Otherwise it would have been cold. When the new meal came, we had all finished our meals which was annoying. When the bill came there was no reduction so we asked why. We were told that none of their staff had blonde hair so it was not their fault. We calmly explained that none of us had blonde hair either so it also was not our fault. We just got a shrug and sorry there is nothing we can do. Rather than make a scene we paid the bill and left. We will not be returning.

Arrived on time 7pm, was seated straight away & immediately asked for our drinks order. Asked for 5mins to look at what was on offer & he returned.....eventually. We gave our order he returned as drinks not available, returned a 2nd time as they weren't available again so eventually settled for drinks we didn't really want. Gave our food order at same time as drinks & had to enquire where the starter was after waiting 40mins. The food was really good once it arrived & we both enjoyed our meal. The lad who originally served us had vanished after bringing our drinks but, the young lady who cleared our table was over familiar calling me mate & babes, surely waiting staff should refer to customers as sir & madam not mate & babes. The decor could do with a refurb as paint is worn & dirty with liquid & food stains.

Always a good spot for a cosy pint and some yummy food. Came here with family tonight and received fab service from Natalie! Food was 10/10 all round, not to mention it's affordable for a mid-week meal. Definitely will be back soon :)

Good local location, parking at front or across the road, excellent service by very polite waitress. Food excellent and ample, a regular haunt of our family.

We good menu with lots of choice. Some Main courses actually served without chips and peas. My friend and I will definitely be going again.

Visiting family we decided to go for lunch, turned up without a reservation, had to wait a little while but were accommodated. Lovely friendly staff even though very busy, they still had time to recommend items. Decent drinks list as well. Overall a lovely meal and very enjoyable catch up.

The Crabmill is a popular place with the type menu that a lot of pubs serve these days. The food is nice & the service is good.. The Crabmill is popular at lunchtime & of an evening. They serve a good selection of coffee, beer & wines.

Big open pub with seating outside, service is fairly good.

Very Nice and clean , staff are very helpful and friendly I don’t normally rate for burgers in general but This Pub has the Best burgers in Stourbridge Area and Of course Other food within the Menu are Greats

Today, Saturday, the food was very acceptable. Although the place was busy the food arrived quite quickly. Much improved experience.

Had another great time at the Crabmill. Food was delicious, we had the katsu curry, please keep on the menu as we keep coming back especially for it 😋 Staff all very friendly and attentive. Special mention for Natasha, who went out of her way for us. And also Dave the chef who gave my friend a lemon as she thought coming down with a cold. We will keep coming back as the food is great with excellent customer service.

Food was very average wouldn't rush back. The Sunday roast if definitely over priced for what you get. Service was slow even though the pub was quite empty. Had to wait about 15 mins for the bill, and in the end I had to track the waitress down to ask for it.

Came here for my husbands 70th birthday, 18 of us plus our dog! All the meals were piping hot & delicious, the staff were so friendly & helpful making for a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Thank you x

Never lets us down! We have been coming here for years and are never disappointed, but the new specials…..amazing!! The truffle mushroom chicken schnitzel was absolutely delicious. Please keep this on the menu! If you want a place with fabulous food at the most reasonable price, then visit The Crabmill. Natalie, amazing as always, as was newbie Sav. We will always be returning!

What can I say excellent meal cooked to perfection and even a few tidbits for the dogs thank you we eat out every Sunday and not many pubs deserve a second visit well be back next Sunday as its my birthday on the following Tuesday so the wife can drive 😀

Went as a family for my grandaughters birthday we were all very impressed with the food and it was certainly value for money the staff were very pleasant and helpful

I visit the Crabmill with an old school pal around once a month for a "pie & Pint" and an enjoyable couple of hours of friendly banter. I wrote a review a little while ago stating that we missed the opportunity of just getting a light lunch and that it was rather expensive when times are hard for a lot of people, and I have to say the Crabmill has listened now offering a " snack meal deal" @ a good price. This deal offers a limited selection+ drink for around £10. It's good to see that the management listens & actenjs on suggestions. By the way the pub was very busy so they have got most things running well. I will be returning soon for another very enjoyable lunch.
