Service good didn't wait long for food food was of good quality found the Crabmill on Google as only visiting the area but if we ever that way again won't hesitate to call

Great food and service was excellent i had a very nice pint of bitter which was very good will be going back again. 🍺🍺

This was our third visit to the Crabmill. We both decided on the Sunday roast of Turkey and veg, after a 40 minute wait, which I thought was to long being the place looked empty to me. When the food came it did look very nice and the vegetables were but that’s about it the meat was tasteless,slimy and mush in the mouth. I later found out when talking to the waitress that the turkey crowns are brought in cooked for them to slice and warm up. This is not good enough when paying £13.99 per meal, not happy about our choice of place for our anniversary meal.

Friendly staff. Ordered drinks and meals at bar. Food arrived in a reasonable time and good apart from pastry on the pie which was very hard although filling was lovely.

Friendly welcome and seated quickly. Our drinks order was taken and delivered fairly quickly. After a brief wait our food order was taken - a sharing starter and main meal each. The starter arrived quickly however we did wait some time for our main which wasn’t too much of an issue as some places are bringing your main out before you’ve even finished your starter. My order of salmon fish cakes was slightly over cooked as the fish didn’t fall apart as expected and was a little dry and the poached egg was overcooked with no runny yolk. My husband’s steak which should have been medium rare was more medium cooked but was still enjoyable. After our plates were cleared the waitress gave us the chalk board with the dessert menu on as we had already expressed we wanted a dessert. This was the last we saw of her. We waited a good 15+ minutes for someone to take our order then gave up! We paid the bill and left. We will return but think a little more attention is needed to the tables by staff.

Lovely meal tonight, me and a friend had Katsu chicken with rice and chips, 1 friend had gammon, egg, pineapple, chios and peas and another the fish n chips. Lovely, would highly recommend

I have never been to this pub, I was looking for somewhere to eat before an appointment nearby. The staff were very pleasant and polite, I chose the vegan katsu curry and some rosemary foccacia bread. The food was very hot and fresh and i didn't have a long wait.I really really enjoyed my food. I love a katsu curry and this one was delicious. Thank you so much to the lovely staff for their kind service. I will gladly be back..

Just had lunch (3 adults and 2 children) service was exceptional. Wait staff were very attentive and happy to give recommendations. Food was phenomenal. This was our first visit but definitely will not be our last .

I had a burger. Tad overdone was still delishio can't blame no one, if I wanted any other way I should have stated that when I made my order, which I didn't. Will be going back. Broad spectrum of drinks that WILL quench your thirst, also your reality. I actually enjoyed the brand of cider there, think it was called Lucy. Nice place, love where it's located, loved the service. Tried to look for the bar staff and chef before I left, to show appreciation. This place won't dissapoint. Top score from me.

Went for a birthday meal and everything was fine until the food came. My wife ordered the gammon and when it was placed in front of her, she noticed a long blonde hair on the gammon. We told the waitress who apologised and it was replaced, but while she was waiting for the replacement meal, we ate our food. Otherwise it would have been cold. When the new meal came, we had all finished our meals which was annoying. When the bill came there was no reduction so we asked why. We were told that none of their staff had blonde hair so it was not their fault. We calmly explained that none of us had blonde hair either so it also was not our fault. We just got a shrug and sorry there is nothing we can do. Rather than make a scene we paid the bill and left. We will not be returning.

Arrived on time 7pm, was seated straight away & immediately asked for our drinks order. Asked for 5mins to look at what was on offer & he returned.....eventually. We gave our order he returned as drinks not available, returned a 2nd time as they weren't available again so eventually settled for drinks we didn't really want. Gave our food order at same time as drinks & had to enquire where the starter was after waiting 40mins. The food was really good once it arrived & we both enjoyed our meal. The lad who originally served us had vanished after bringing our drinks but, the young lady who cleared our table was over familiar calling me mate & babes, surely waiting staff should refer to customers as sir & madam not mate & babes. The decor could do with a refurb as paint is worn & dirty with liquid & food stains.

Always a good spot for a cosy pint and some yummy food. Came here with family tonight and received fab service from Natalie! Food was 10/10 all round, not to mention it's affordable for a mid-week meal. Definitely will be back soon :)

Good local location, parking at front or across the road, excellent service by very polite waitress. Food excellent and ample, a regular haunt of our family.

We good menu with lots of choice. Some Main courses actually served without chips and peas. My friend and I will definitely be going again.

Visiting family we decided to go for lunch, turned up without a reservation, had to wait a little while but were accommodated. Lovely friendly staff even though very busy, they still had time to recommend items. Decent drinks list as well. Overall a lovely meal and very enjoyable catch up.

The Crabmill is a popular place with the type menu that a lot of pubs serve these days. The food is nice & the service is good.. The Crabmill is popular at lunchtime & of an evening. They serve a good selection of coffee, beer & wines.

Big open pub with seating outside, service is fairly good.

Very Nice and clean , staff are very helpful and friendly I don’t normally rate for burgers in general but This Pub has the Best burgers in Stourbridge Area and Of course Other food within the Menu are Greats

The hunters chicken was amazing and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious 10/10 would recommend service was amazing too.

Today, Saturday, the food was very acceptable. Although the place was busy the food arrived quite quickly. Much improved experience.

Had another great time at the Crabmill. Food was delicious, we had the katsu curry, please keep on the menu as we keep coming back especially for it 😋 Staff all very friendly and attentive. Special mention for Natasha, who went out of her way for us. And also Dave the chef who gave my friend a lemon as she thought coming down with a cold. We will keep coming back as the food is great with excellent customer service.

Food was very average wouldn't rush back. The Sunday roast if definitely over priced for what you get. Service was slow even though the pub was quite empty. Had to wait about 15 mins for the bill, and in the end I had to track the waitress down to ask for it.

Came here for my husbands 70th birthday, 18 of us plus our dog! All the meals were piping hot & delicious, the staff were so friendly & helpful making for a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Thank you x

Never lets us down! We have been coming here for years and are never disappointed, but the new specials…..amazing!! The truffle mushroom chicken schnitzel was absolutely delicious. Please keep this on the menu! If you want a place with fabulous food at the most reasonable price, then visit The Crabmill. Natalie, amazing as always, as was newbie Sav. We will always be returning!

Went as a family for my grandaughters birthday we were all very impressed with the food and it was certainly value for money the staff were very pleasant and helpful

What can I say excellent meal cooked to perfection and even a few tidbits for the dogs thank you we eat out every Sunday and not many pubs deserve a second visit well be back next Sunday as its my birthday on the following Tuesday so the wife can drive 😀

I visit the Crabmill with an old school pal around once a month for a "pie & Pint" and an enjoyable couple of hours of friendly banter. I wrote a review a little while ago stating that we missed the opportunity of just getting a light lunch and that it was rather expensive when times are hard for a lot of people, and I have to say the Crabmill has listened now offering a " snack meal deal" @ a good price. This deal offers a limited selection+ drink for around £10. It's good to see that the management listens & actenjs on suggestions. By the way the pub was very busy so they have got most things running well. I will be returning soon for another very enjoyable lunch.

Lovely place to have a meal with the family. Service is always very friendly, particularly from Natalie and Ben, who were our servers today. Service was 5 stars, food today was 4 stars - over-cooked a little.

Once again. An excellent Crabmill experience. Initially disappointed with no Saturday spaces for a family meal (3 Adults/2 kids) it was up to Manageress Sharon going out of her way to fit us in between pre-booked tables and so ensured our plans for an impromptu night out were assured. Once again the service (from our pleasant and attentive waitress, Ellie) was nothing short of perfect as were the bargain menu deals on offer. Great pub. Clean and bright. Fantastic atmosphere and an overall very enjoyable evening for all attending. We don’t live locally (visiting Daughter) however next time over the Crabmill will be on the Event Menu! Cheers again!

visited on Mothers day after a visit out to Shropshire and had tried at a few Places for a table for lunch but were told everywhere "you needed to book" decided to try one last place before giving up and heading home and glad we tried here. we walked in and asked for a table for 3 the lady at the desk asked if we had booked which we hadn't but she looked round the corner and we were glad to get a table we ordered 2 Sunday dinners (which was a surprise to have some left especially at 3pm) and the chicken schnitzel. the food arrived quickly and the Sunday dinners (which was double meat) were HUGE! chicken schnitzel was really nice personally would have liked some parmesan on the crust for a little extra flavour all the food was tasty and served hot. it was nice to have a small menu for Sunday as sometimes it can all be a tad OTT with choice but there was something for everyone IMHO will defo visit again when passing that way again

Popped in on the off-chance and have to say how lovely the staff were on arrival. The food was very tasty and we have both said we will definitely be coming back.

Excellent all round. We were a party of 10 adults for a Sunday lunchtime 21st birthday meal, and we were well looked after. Everyone said their meal was hot and tasty and the waiting staff were efficient and friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly with bringing the cake and candles at the end of the meal, and keeping the drinks and food orders flowing. All of the prices are reasonable. The surroundings are pleasant and clean, with plenty space in between tables and quiet background music that was just right and didn’t overpower the conversation. Would recommend. Thank you to Sophia and the other two waiting staff - sorry I forgot your names!

My wife attended last week. It was cold in temperature. The staff tried to rush the group. They did not bring all of the menu choices. Resulting in a double trip. It was better a year ago.

Having moved in locally we decided to go for what looked like a great value dinner deal for two. When we arrived a young man seated us promptly.. but we sat for a full ten minutes unapproached by him or indeed anyone else. At this point i decided to go and order our drinks from the bar, a beer and a bitter, i waited at the bar for quite some time as a poor red headed waitress was clearly suffering from the after effects of a till malfunction, in fairness to her she had had The Day From Hell ( this I know because she made mention of it at the bar, it happens) .. I ordered our drinks ( we are now about twenty minutes in, ten sitting at the table and a further ten at the bar).. i took them back to our table and we drank them, in the time it took ( and my partner isn't a fast drinker) to drink two pints STILL nobody had approached us, the waiter ( the young man who had initially seated us) seemed to have literally vaporised into the ether, nobody approached us, although the red headed waitress WAS polite while seating other people she clearly was utterly frazzled, I felt a bit sorry for her to be completely honest.. it was at this point we decided not to add to her woes and to leave and eat elsewhere. It didn't help that i had been to the bar and asked if i could order there to save anyone coming over, only to be told ( admittedly nicely, i must stress that nobody was rude to us) to sit down and someone would be over to us. Nobody came. At all. For well over half an hour, so we went elsewhere. i completely get that days in hospitality can be crazy but the fact that nobody approached us at all in nearly 40 minutes was absolutely a sign to leave and go elsewhere. This is a real shame, because i have to be honest and say we have been three times before ( and liked it hence deciding to return)..but three visible front of house staff on a thursday night ( there may have been more but the young man disappeared and the boss seemed busy behind the bar,) seemingly leaving one waitress to deal with all front of house AND be behind the bar, which is where we first saw her, seems a bit crazy. I give this review 2 stars purely on the basis of tonight i would have given none, but our other visits i would cheerfully have given 4 so it seems a fair average. Hopefully we will try again, but we will probably see what other delights Stourbridge has to offer before doing so. This visit took place around 7pm on Thursday 29 February 2024.

My old school pal & I visit the Crabmill about every 6 weeks & enjoy every minute, however we really only require a pie & a pint on a limited budget & selection is limited, however very tasty. More basic selection would warrant a 5 star.

Really dog friendly pub. Good food. I had the Signature burger and my partner had the chicken couldn't fault the meal. Night was made even better by the excellent table service from Nat and Sam will definitely be back.

Lovely Tuesday dinner out with a friend. Both had the gammon from the 2 for £14.99 menu and it was delicious, really thick and juicy. Natalie & Sharon were fabulous hosts. Will definately be back.

Lovely Sunday roast here today. Elle and Sharon served us and although it was busy , nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely place. Service by Nat and Dan was exceptional with nothing being too much trouble. Food was amazing. Starter was the surprising winner dish of the evening- shout out to chefs Stu and Roz Prices and offers are good with plenty of options. Clean and inviting atmosphere and staff were pleasant, knowledgeable with a warm manner.

Great food, but they were low on staff so the service was slow, saying that the food for our group of 9 was still well cooked and hot. The real ales were well kept. So overall a good experience.

The Crabmill makes for a place to go for an evening out. Everything is pleasant and entices us back often. For pub food the Crabmill is very good; I marked food as 4 stars out of 5 because it is not cordon bleu.

I had to select a star to post. Not a great experience, we were asked as soon as we received the meals if everything was ok which was later used against us as 10 out of 13 did not enjoy the food and when we complained before the desert came out. Out came the answer you were asked if everything was ok with your meal, get out of jail card pulled out. Will not return but learnt a lesson we should have said straight away. We are not enjoying this and said we do not want the other courses. I did request to speak to the manager but was told not available.. the one starter was forgotten and we stated the Salmon was not nice and was offered to replace. It.

Last visit to the Crabmill was excellent as always food was lovely and exact to order reasonably priced as well, we also took the dog as they are very dog friendly.

The furnishing and interior is a little tired but the staff were pleasant and efficient also food was good - thank you

Booked a table on the phone for a family meal. Was not told I needed to pay a deposit so it wasn’t actually booked and now they’re fully booked that day. No communication whatsoever, poor service.

Let down by the service from the bar. Straws thrown down on the table and drinks left at the end of the table without any interaction from the young barmaid who bought them over.

fabulous Food, Great Atmosphere and Attentive Service. the Crabmill was very busy, which is lovely to see, we were told food would be a out 40 minutes, which wasn't an issue, we were offered drinks immediately. Our food wait was about 30 minutes, the food was hot and fresh on arrival and was very enjoyable. will definitely return.
